The 3D pics look good. I had mine at 26 weeks and they came out well too. Best images I have ever seen! Congrats!

tolbertmj - Saturday, 19 Jan
Your 3-D ultrasound pics came out great! I have a 3-D ultrasound tomorrow. I can't wait. It's expensive, but so worth the money.

shashi - Saturday, 19 Jan
Your Ultrasound pics are great. She seems a little bashful in that picture with her hands in front of her face. Adorable! Thanks for sharing.

tolbertmj - Tuesday, 15 Jan
Generally speaking, If you pay for a 3-D ultrasound if the place is any good they really try to work with you to get you some good pictures. When I went with my first pregnancy they had a lady who couldn't get any good pictures and they let her leave and go walk around a near by mall for awhile and then come back to see if the baby had changed positions. Good luck. The 3-D ultrasounds are awesome!

wow thats an expensive 3d ultrasound place you should def keep looking cause mine cost 180 and i got a dvd it was supposed to be 20 but it ended up being over an hour!! and i got 9 black and white photos plus a cd with over 50 3d pics so i can go to walmart or some place and print them out plus i got 8 color pictures!!

I saw your poll and pulled up your page. Just wanted to say that I love your crib and bedding! Congrats on your little girl! :)

I have seen the same 4D/3D ultrasound package for $155 and on some websites for as cheap as $83. Maybe it is due to location. (I'm close to Los Angeles,CA). Most of my pregnant friends get the package for under $200.

Hope that helps

Did the TUMS help the heartburn? Are you doing anything else that helps? I just can't stay away from the grease sometimes!

Being a paralegal can be fun. I've been doing it since about 1995 so I'm ready to retire ... hopefully after the baby is born, I will be staying home.
What type of law are you interested in?
I've worked in real estate, litigation, probate & estate and am currently working in immigration. I LOVE immigration - have been doing it for almost 7 years and enjoy that the most!
Take care.

Your bedding is adorable!

I'm pregnant with my 4th, and I have never used a changing table. It's safer to just throw a changing pad on the floor and change the baby there. When I first gave birth and was still sore, I just threw the pad on my bed and changed there (or in the crib.) I keep a box of wipes in my room, living room, and baby's room. They also come in handy for cleaning up other spills and things. It's also much easier to throw a pad in with a load of laundry than mess with cleaning off a changing table! We have a small house, and I'd rather have the space for other things than for a changing table. Good luck!

proudmomto3 - Monday, 7 Jan
i bought a change table for 150 at walmart and its awsome i have 2 girls and a son on the way and it still looks brand new! it has a 2 door cupboard under neith the top table with pad that comes out with clips to keep baby safe. and under neith cupboard is 2 med. size drawers. its great. :)

csmith - Monday, 7 Jan
I got a contour change pad at Babies R Us for 29.99 and it fits on top of a dresser we already have. It works out perfectly, and way cheaper than a entire table. Hope this helps...

sickasadog - Monday, 7 Jan
If it does not have to be a new changing table, I see some of the baby furniture at consignment shops.

I have a question, I am also a first timer and my baby's dad is in the NAVY. My baby is due May 4 but could come later considering it's my first. Sam (baby's dad) is scheduled to deploy May 31st for seven months. Is there anyway he can get some kind of leave for June, or something..... I don't know the rules

binkybobo - Monday, 7 Jan
U could find a cheap changing table @ Ikea or find a nice used one @Craigslist.com

PreggieSmurf - Sunday, 6 Jan
Try www.craigslist.com and select your area. Items are sold by people in your area and are local pickup only. People sell nice changing tables for about $20 used, but still in good shape. I have found so many things by shopping on craigslist. I bought a beautiful used rocker/glider from someone for $25!!! I am addicted to that web site!

I had an issue with soda as well. When I found out I was pregnant, I switched from regular coke to Sprite or Mugg rootbeer. Both of which do not contain caffeine.

littletonmommy - Thursday, 3 Jan
I got a snoogle for Christmas as well. I love it, I really sleep much better and feel better rested. It was expensive $52 but it was worth it to me to sleep!

Avocat29 - Thursday, 3 Jan
Thanks for your post. I think what docs are most worried about is women self-diagnosing.
Also I know lots of midwives are against USs, not sure why. Not so much for docs though; I know lots of women that have had to have lots of USs b/c they were high risk and the babies were fine.
There are no studies to show that there are any bad effects on babies. Also I read somewhere that an ob's kid had a US 3 times a week for the whole pregnancy and he's fine. And USs are so much stronger than dopplers! Also the ones you use at home are not like the ones you use at the doc's office.
So I'm feeling fine about it. Lots of women listen to their babies HBs every day for like months and months. I did it for 8 weeks so I think it's ok. I'm only going to use it now if I am worried that she has not moved much.

bluebeanz - Thursday, 3 Jan
Hey there, I saw that you asked about the snoogle... I got one about a week and a half ago and I LOVE, LOVE it! It supports in all the right places. I am sleeping so much better now. It's worth every penny in my opinion. I plan on selling it second hand when I'm done with it, to recover some of the cost. Like renting it. Hope this helps!

ladobruk - Wednesday, 2 Jan
I use TUMS and Maalox. I get it so often too; I know how frustrating it is! Have you also monitored what you are eating that sets it off the most - it is worse for me when I eat greasy, spicy or tomato based foods so I try to limit those as much as possible.

suzi - Monday, 31 Dec
try a teaspoon of honey when you have it it works wonders, let me know
