I think you got the idea from all the other posts, but it sounds like reflux! Suggest it to your pedi! My lil girl was diagnosed with it today, they gave me 2 options, thicken her formula or pepcid. I chose to try the thickened liquid first.

jenim24 - Friday, 8 August
Definately sounds like acid reflux! My son has silent (we dont actually see the spit up, he swallows it back down) and it's 1 teaspoon of rice per ounce of formula. Definately see your doc, they might swtich your babies formula. If the doc won't listen.. u need a new doc!! Also on this site go to forums then on the right choose GERD. All us reflux mommies swap ideas there!

Thanks! I read about your baby spitting up it could be she is eating too much or acid reflux. Look it up and see if the signs apply to your baby. If so go to your pedi, there are medicines for that. Good luck!

my nephew is the same way and they put him on pepcid capsules so u can break em open and mix with food or drink ....and as my pedi says ...some babies are just happy spitters ...good luck

this might sound odd.. but if i dont burp xander 100% all the way he spits ups (not a lot but a little) maybe try the burping.. or I read that if spitup is huge problem use gas meds or colic meds.. just ideas..

I might have already told you this...I'm a little brain dead...haha, but I have some travel tips on my page. I flew solo with the baby at about 6 weeks.

Hey, Thanks, I can't believe it worked! I am just the worst with computer things and everything I've done on here I've had to ask for help.

I love her little outfit - so cute.

We have those bar stools too. Look at her sitting up all by herself! What a little doll!

Hi, How did you post the picture of your baby on the regular message page? So cute!

mom2boy - Saturday, 12 July
Jamison struggled taking a bottle at the other daycare but at his new one he just eats and eats. He must be much happier at his new place. He ate 15 oz between 9 and noon!

mom2boy - Saturday, 12 July
First off I called Jamison’s daycare at 8AM to see if they were able to put him down for a nap. They said no because they have been trying to feed him for the last 40 minutes. He was refusing the bottle. I told them to keep trying and if he won’t take it within a half hour to call. About 5 to 10 minutes later I call them to give them some helpful hints on how to get him to take a bottle and they told me he had already taken it and that he was asleep. So I am feeling good until they call me and leave me a message that I need to call them as soon as possible. I call them and they tell me they cannot get him to sleep and asked me what they should do. They said the last time he went to sleep he only slept for about 10 minutes. Then they say to me “there are other babies here, I cannot hold Jamison the whole time. When will you be picking him up?” Ok so my baby isn’t eating or sleeping and now you are basically asking me when you can get rid of him. I ran out of the lab and cried in the bathroom stall. After getting myself together I called his daycare again and he had fallen asleep in the swing. I went back into the lab and it was obvious I was a mess. My boss told me I could go home. So I went to go pick Jamison up. When I got there I heard him poo so I changed him and he had dried poo stuck to his butt cheeks but his chart said he had only had wet diapers. 1. obviously he had more than just wet ones and 2. they didn't clean him very good. Also I pulled out his little box of changing supplies and his ointment wasn't in it. So I asked where it was and they were like oh it's over here in his drawer. So they handed it to me and it was still sealed shut. They had not used it all day on him. Then to top it all off, I have this little mini cool pack thing that I put his breast milk bottles in and the daycare gave it back to me with his empty bottles as well as the ones he didn't eat. Well, I look in it to make sure I got all his bottles back and there were two bottles in there that were breastmilk bottles that belonged to another kid!!!

I breast feed full time and Leah gets Tri-Vi-Sol. It just has vitamins A, D, and C. I guess that's all they need for now. I do give her the full dose as recommended on the label. It tastes pretty nasty but she sucks it right up like it is just the best thing!

Aarons Mommy - Friday, 11 July
I'm giving my son My Kidz Iron which is Iron, Vitamin A, C, and D supplement. I give it to him twice a week. Even though it says to everyday. He loves it.

mom2boy - Monday, 30 June
I really appreciate your positive daycare post. I am struggling big time with going back to work and reading your post makes me feel better. Thanks again.
