From what I was told, they basically strap a fetal heart monitor to your belly, and a monitor for contractions, to see how the babys heartrate reacts when you contract. I dont know why I have to get one. I guess its just cuz im overdue.

No, they wont give me another u/s. :( I have to go do a nonstress test tomorrow morning at the hospital... maybe I'll get lucky and theyll decide to do a u/s tomorrow! (I doubt it since the doc didnt order one, but oh well) I cant wait for Tuesday! Less than 2 days left for me!

Hey girl just thought I'd drop by to say hello and see how you are doing. I've been soooo busy getting everything ready for the baby. I usually am awake by 4 am so i just get everything started. I have like 6 bags of baby clothes that I have to wash but I have to wait for my neice to get back on Sun to get them out of storage. Anyway I just wanted to say Im glad you and BD are getting along right now. Hopefully it will last. Wish I could say the same for me and mine lol. Although it has been rather nice not to have to listen to him gripe about all the things I'M doing WRONG, such as going to the dr 2 hours away from him. I cant help that I was referred to them and its too late now to change anything. Plus they have the best program Why should I make it easier on him its not like hes paying the gas for me to go or anything at all for that matter. Anyway Ill talk to ya later

Hey congrats! I was reading your page and I went thru the same situation w/my daughter. Me and her father was friends, had sex twice and they were months apart and boom I was pregnant. I wasn't inlove nor trying to be w/him. I told him about her and he suggested an abortion...I was like no, and I pretty much left it up to God. We didn't speak during my pregnancy and for the first 9 months of her life-he wasn't there. Though he contacted me and we did a paternity test. I didn't want him having any doubts and she was he's. He's been in her life strong every since then-she's a daddy's girl. So stay encourage, he's missing out on his son's life and leave it up to God b/c he can do all things. And on top of that God blessed me w/my wonderful husband who loves me and my daughter, so she has two fathers. And this pregnancy is stress free. Sometime we have to go thru things to get to our blessing. Don't let him stress you out, focus on God, you and your child and the blessing will come.

I know he might be going through a lot but raising your baby by yourself will be a lot for you too. He need to realize that and stop being selfish. You didn't lay down by yourself.

Ohh, lucky you! I have to run all over town to do everything. My doc office doesnt do ultrasounds at all. The stuff you have to drink isnt too bad. Just like fizzless orange soda, or sprite. It's just really sweet. I started feeling sick cuz youre not supposed to eat like 12 hours before doing it, so i was hungry, and full of sugar. Not a good combination. lol

I dunno if they do that at the doctor office. I had to do it at the blood work place, and they have to take blood before you drink it, then you wait an hour and they take more blood. Maybe your doctors office does it, but mine didnt. I think they usually have you do it between 26 to 28 weeks, so you might have a couple more weeks until you have to do it. I have an appointment tomorrow too!!! I WANT MY BABY BOY!!! lol.
