Monday, 6 October Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com
Hi there,
I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.
We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.
If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.
You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Tuesday, 22 Jan Did the doctor ever say what caused IUGR? I am so scared. I am 36w5d, and we are getting an amnio on Wednesday. Doctor is talking about possibly inducing on Thursday. She is only about 4 1/2 lbs right now. I have been eating like crazy and it doesn't seem to be getting to her. I am glad Miyah is doing well! What happened right when she was born? I'm so scared I don't know what to expect! teamshred -

Tuesday, 8 Jan Hey, I get the on the bottom of my calves. I have avoided them since then by taking potassium pills.. (99mg 1 a day). I also point my toes towards my head and straighten out my legs before going to bed. I still feel like my right leg has one but I have been keeping it at bay so far. If you don't want to take the pill eat bananas....like 2 or so a day for snacks or what not. shellybelly81 -
Tuesday, 8 Jan No problem! I delivered him Friday morning, and we left Wednesday evening. He had jaundice so they wouldn't discharge him until his level was low enough. Come to find out, it was breastmilk jaundice! So I had to quit breastfeeding. He came home at 4lbs 3 oz. He was healthy and scored high on everything so they didn't require him to be a certain weight. I had 2 outfits for him luckily my bestfriend brought into the hospital, I was not expecting him to be little at all! Even preemie diapers were HUGE. I'll post a picture on my site of how little he was and that's 4 lbs! christilouwho -

Monday, 7 Jan I also had IUGR with my first pregnancy. Although I was measuring perfectly, I came down with hellp syndrome and had an emergency csection. I delivered at exactly 37 weeks and my son was 4 lbs 11 oz and 17 inches long. He was really little for a full term baby. They explained to me that HELLP babies have restricted growth. Once my condition was diagnosed I was rushed to labor and delivery, I got my epidural right away, which wasn't bad at all! I don't even know if I felt anything to be honest. I labored for about 8 hours and got to 6 cm. I didn't really understand what was going on but they basically told me that they couldn't wait any longer or I would lose my life. So, I was rushed to have my csection and delivered my son within minutes! I was SO excited to see him! He was little but absolutely perfect! The recovery of the csection was really difficult. This time around I am opting to have a vaginal delivery. I wish I could have experienced it but God had other plans ;o) Good luck to you! nadwa -
