thanks so much for the reply. I do nurse laying down sometimes, about once a day. As far as bottles, they are not very frequent, maybe she has had a bottle a dozen times , maybe a bit more since birth...........but most of that in the last couple weeks. I do think it could be a slow let down now that I think of it, a lot of what you say your little one does Riley does as well.

your baby is soooo cute! i loved his pics... my photo sesion didn't go well, the lady was new and she put emma in some positions she didn't like, and she kept trying 'til she was upset so no smiling photos or anything, it was a big deception for me, besides they don't do closeups and i didn't like that, because we made her smile but by the time she moves to take the picture emma stops laughing, we're going to wait a couple months to take her to a REAL studio with a REAL photographer not some trainned employee...any way this is the frustation talking...

hey i read ur post about the 3-4 feedings...and my baby started sleeping through the night at 4wks and i asked the dr if i should wake him and he said that i should let him sleep bc babies will wake up when they are hungry! so let him sleep and enjoy!!!!!!!

i heard that once babies hit 12 pounds they no longer need the calories in the middle of the night. some babies still wake up out of habit and others begin sleeping longer

Jamison still sleeps in his bassinet in our room and has not slept one minute in his crib. He is too big for his bassinet though so I think we will bring his crib in our room since I am not ready to have him that far from us yet. I am so feeling you about the daycare thing, it is killing me. I have literally cried every day last week. EVERY DAY. I have also gone and hung out his daycare with him to help him adjust. I will be doing that again tomorrow.

At first Hunter only slept in his swing or bassinett. Then we decided the sooner we get him used to his crib the better. He'll doze off in his swing or our arms. Then we put him down. Sometimes he wakes up for a minute but we got a baby gift that has been a huge help. One of the things he liked about his swing was the fact that it made nature sounds, (he didn't like the swinging part). We have this lamb that plays different sounds. I turn it on when he goes down. He likes the rain sound. It really has helped with the transition. I don't know if it will work for your baby but let me know if it helps!

Thanks! I love the new pics! We are getting adjusted this week. The b/f has not been going well-I'm not producing enough milk. Haylie weighed 7-13 when she was born and by Friday's pediatrician visit she was down to 7-1!! I'm pretty much just pumping to supplement her formula! I had to have an emergency c-section b/c her heart rate was a little high. Now we just have to get her days and nights switched around and everything will be perfect! LOL Definitely up for the playdate-we can exchange numbers. I'm still on here all the time so I'll keep in touch!
