Tuesday, 2 September I drank 4tbs of castor oil with my first and went into labor. It also worked for my aunt all 3 times she was pregnant. Good luck, its NASTY! J.baby -
Sunday, 31 August i was reading your comment about the possibility of not dialating past a 1...i also had cryotherapy for the same reasons and none of my doctors have mentioned that to me. i will keep my fingers crossed for you and that you have a quick healthy labor. take care CanadianNat -

Tuesday, 12 August 1. What all do i need to pack for the hospital? Basically this is my third baby.... I packed heavy duty pads because I prefer my own, shampoo, deodorant, brush, 2 nightgowns, 2 underwear, whatever make up you wish, change of clothes to go home in (make sure comfy), baby's pacifyers, 2 outfits for hospital pics and her going home outfit/blanket.
2. What are all of the ABSOLUTE NECESSITIES needed in our home for when we leave the hospital and come home? A bassinet or co-sleep crib if you plan on having the baby in your room for the first few months, diapers, onsies, sleepers, swing, bottles for breastmilk/formula.
3. What is one thing you can tell me about after delivery and beginning to recover that they don't teach you in your classes and that you don't read from a book? Every woman is different! Some bleed alot and some a little at first. You will pass some large clots if a vaginal delivery. Yes you will be sore from pushing but it generally subsides in a day or so without pain meds. Take advantage of a lactation consultant before you head home they have valuable advice! And most importantly be prepared to fall in love all over again!
