Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi, not sure if you have already successfully gone into labour and had your bub. I have had trouble with my wireless internet connection so havnt been on line for a while. Yes the castor oil worked with my 1st and 2nd labours, but I was full term when I tried it too. But I went into labour within 24 hours of taking it with each. Especially the 2nd baby I took it at 8pm at night, had "the runs" at midnight and was turning over in bed at 3am when my waters broke. He was born at 7.20am the next morning - so there was a fairly direct correlation! Hope this helps. Good luck!

I had some cramping today as well. I was at the ER with my sis (she sprained her ankle) and as we were waiting I was getting BH and then on our way home I just felt really crampy. I bet things are changing down south. Baby is still moving and no bleeding, etc...so I'm sure we're fine. I'll ask doc next appt. Let me know what you find out. My mom told me that is how her labor started...so...maybe I'll be rushing to the hospital tonight..

hey there,
i read your post and wanted to tell you that i am having menst. cramps and that they are really light, but they don't happen like every day. it is like every other day, and i heard that this can be a sign of prelabor. i experienced the same thing with my first son, like 2 weeks before i delivered....hope this helps. good luck to you.

Yes, I actually called a nurse about my menstrual like cramping. She said some people experience this, and to keep track of how many I had. I usually only have them in the morning when I first wake up. From what I understand, as long as they aren't extreme, accompanied with bleeding or occuring frequently, we're okay. Hope that helps...but if it makes you feel better, don't hesitate to call your doctor for peace of mind! Hang in there! :)

I just wanted to add that you can take tylenol pm for the discomfort! I am a fan of tylenol pm, my doc also gave me a script for Ambien, which works wonders when it comes to restless nights!

Hello!! We all feel your pain about the not sleeping and being tired all the time. I myself have not had a very good night sleep in months. I'm lucky to get 3-4 hours a day. last night I think I got 2 hours tops.,... :( It gets worse and worse for me every night. My husband now sleeps on the couch because of this. At least he gets a good nights sleep. Don't feel bad, I think it our bodies training us for those sleepless nights with baby. Well good luck and if you can try to sleep when you get the time. Weekends are the only time I can sleep and that is if our dog lets me. lol :)

Hi there! I agree with Dana. This is my 2nd pregnancy and I am sleeping like a baby! I give all the credit to my 2 year old. The first time around I didn't sleep at all! The only thing I could think of is that I came home, ate and sat/laid on the couch until it was bed time. Now it is 8 hours of work and then go, go, go when I get home until about 9pm. By then I am pooped and I can sleep like a baby....except for getting up to pee! I hope this helps. I know the last thing you want to do is run a frickin' marathon before you go to bed just so you can sleep. Good luck and you don't have too long yet! :)

Dana - Tuesday, 6 May
i was reading about how you don't get any sleep. Do you work? I don't have any problems sleeping yet..but I work 40 hours a week then I try and keep myself bust like working out side and playing with my dogs or SOMETHING besides sitting on the couch and I find it so much easier to fall asleep and stay asleep, besides when i have to pee.

I'm so sorry! :(

sometimes, what really helps me is to just go ahead and cry. Cry until you feel like it's all out.... and then sit and watch a good movie :) You'll sleep like a baby :)

Hi, there is nothing anyone can do about anything. All the tips are just flukes of luck, what hurts is gonna keep hurting not a darn thing has cured my reflux or heartburn, only birth will do that. I have already had atleast one meltdown and my husband has also had his, lol. My hubby was cool to ask on scales of 1-10 my levels of pain so he was able get back to being understanding. We just miss each other, baby changes everything, yep its true, but atleast I will be able to walk again and help. I do plan on talking to my Dr about going 10 days early on my husband's b day, I am able to work from home thank God, but can't walk, move, turn, sleep and everything makes me so tired that I am hoping I can push him out. You aren't alone, I am beyond over it =)

Your last post sounds exactly like how I'm feeling. I'm so tired it feels like i'm lifting up 10 ton weights just to move my arms and legs. I'm exhausted too. I don't have any suggestions b/c I'm in the same boat. If you figure anything out send it my way. Sorry : (

Rachel918 - Tuesday, 6 May
Im sorry, I am the same exact way, nothing helps i just want to cry and have it be june already. Along with all the pains and discomfort i hav swelling really bad, allergies and i dont even think i get 3 hours a night, i am up every hour on the hour to pee and then when i do sleep i have terrible dreams.. I say just hang in there. Im still working two jobs one at home and nanny in the afternoons. I wish you luck and just try to relax:)

RaynbowMami - Tuesday, 6 May
I wish I had something good to tell you, but I don't. The same thing happened to me. I was uncomfortable and was up and down all night. All I can say is it will pass. It gets better and it gets easier. I'm sleeping through the night now. One thing to do is when you wake up, get out of the bed. Don't lay there because it will take longer to go back to sleep. Go watch TV or something. Read a book. You'll get sleepy again.

amandajlane - Tuesday, 6 May
I wish I could tell you its going to get better but I am hurting more now then two weeks ago. Its just something I have learned to put up with until my due date. Having my huney rub my feet when I get home helps but as for the sleepless nights. .they are constant. Just take naps WHENEVER your body tells you to. Its the only thing that has kept me half sane

SugarPlum - Tuesday, 6 May
Hi, I have similar troubles, I have had the 2 best nights sleep i've had in a long time and have been having a cup of spearmint and camomile tea before bed, it helps relax you and helps with the heartburn if you have it, if not straight camomile tea may help you.

I also try to have a nice relaxing bath before bed, the tightenings are probably braxton hicks, they say to keep well hydrated to keep these to a minimum?

Hope this helps, good luck, Claire : )
