Hi Im shelley Im 23 from Nottingham in England. I am mother to a wonderfull 2 yr old girl and Wife to Jim a carpenter. Im a keen boxer and kick boxer, well was but cant train whilst pregnant due to early complications.This baby wasnt planned but was a nice suprise, me and my husband were just starting to discus having another one when fate stepped in and made our desicion for us. I have had a real hard time during this pregnancy, non stop vomiting, which caused me to be dehydrated and malnurished,, and heavy bleeding, so I spent christmas day in hospital. Im so tired and very fed up but cant wait till 12 weeks when I have my scan!! all the best to all you expecting mums xx

Thursday 10th Jan

Im a little worried as the other day I was leaking water, not sure what that means so I rang my midwife (who I havnt even seen yet) and he said it was the probably the last of the bleed running clear?? I didnt know blood could run clear??. Im getting a bit frustrated with the doctor and midwife calling everything Im concerned about 'normal'. I dont think stomach cramps and heavy bleeding during early pregnacy is by and means 'normal'. I miscarried with my first child at 10 weeks and they did the same when I had concerns with that pregnancy. The midwife told me on monday that he would call me back with my first appointment and I havnt heard anything.

When I was pregnant with my little girl I never saw the same midwife twice!! I had to re-explain everyting I told the last midwife. I really hope that this one isnt going to be the same, I would like to get to know my midwife.

There now Ive finished my moan....... at least till tomorrow lol

Saturday 12 january

First midwife appointment on wednesday at 10:30, I hope she brings a doppler thingy with her, Id really like to hear the babies heart beat. I've got a sneeky suspision that this one is a girl too, which would make life easy as I still have everything from my daughter. Mind you I was absolutly convinced that she was a boy, I cant think of any girls names that I like, I know Im not supposed to be thinking of stuff like that yet but, ya know.

I already have a boys name, Blake Conner Newton, Think its lovely. Oh and I like Logan and Cole and Coben loads of nice boys names.

I really cant wait till this sickness subsides, the second I even think about eating my stomach decides to expel what little I have in there, Feels more like a sickness bug than a pregnancy.

Tuesday 15th january

Still feeling sorry for myself, the house is a tip and I cant bring myself to do anything about it. I just feel so sick!! My two year old is being a total pain she was breast fed untill she was one and still takes comfort from sticking her hand down my bra which extremely annoying as she dose it all the time. Ive tried all sorts to get her to stop doing it but nothing seems to help, its driving me mad!!. I do feel sorry for her tho being stuck in the house a nd w3atching me throw up constantly cant be very good for her

Midwife came today and gave me all of my pregnancy packs and stuff, made it all the more `real ` She took blood too and said that I was dhydrated still coz my veigns collapsed. she also talked about me going into hospital and having nutriants and fluids pumped into me. I just really hope in dont interfere with me mams wedding

woo hoo!! week 10! Getting closer to 12 weeks! Im still oh so very sick and trying very very hard to keep food down as my midwife told me I may have to spend 2 weeks in hospital to help my body recover. That just aint going to happen as I have no one to have my two year old, and my husband works away. Besides time goes so slowly in hospital, Id age a couple of years in there im sure. I have a condition in called fybromyalgia which means I have to exercise, however i cant as Id throw up even more and couldput the baby at risk with all the bleeding. With fybromyalgia Im in a lot of pain most of the time for no reason, My brain tells my body that a part of me hurts and I feel the pain, strange I know, Its totally stupid and very frustrating to deal with, Thats why I box, and train so hard. Its comforting feeling pain for a reason, Id get hit in the head and it would hurt, then Id put em down and feel all the better for it. But now that I cant do that I can feel myself getting stiffer and the pain is getting worse. I was also supposed to have a pin in my shoulder to strengthen it as Ive dislocated it a couple of times (well 3) sounds daft but the harder I trained the better I felt. Now I ant take any of my painkillers and cant do anything to make myself feel better. Cant wait till I can start exercising again and get some of my energy back. (before I start to enjoy being a lazy bum) The midwife and nurse are coming back to take some more bloods this week, I need to make sure my blood count is higher so the dont take me away in an ambulance!!In other news me mam is getting married on the 16th of Febuary I cant wait its going to be lovely!! Jims parents are back from America so they are helping out a great deal with my daughter, she keeps asking if she can go to there house, suppose its better han watching me thro up and be grumpy all day!

My mum came around the other day with my bridesmaid dress, Its a blck 3/4 length fitted dress, its stretchy, so will definatly be able to see my bump, lol. Ill make sure I tell everyone im pregnant and not just been eating pie. Maybe I should make a little sighn to put on my back.Im think im starting to feel a bit better now and am planning on getting out and about with Lacie and getting some fresh air. My house is still a total tip but i think Ive gone past caring. Im not going to bore my daughter even more by doing the hoovering on the only day i feel alright. Im thinking of all the other expecting mums out there and hope that if your suffering like me then you are starting to feel better too. Keep you in my thoughts and prayers xx

Today has been interesting....spent most of it in a+e with my hubby who dropped a hand planer on his eye. They said his eye has filled with blood, he has to go back tomorrow to make sure that the swelling is not dangerouse and stuff. Scared the crap out of me tho I have never moved so fast when I got the phone call. I was at the hospial in 15 mins. Amazing how fast you can shift when needs be. Its put a boot up my jaxy and bought me out of self pitty a little lol. He has to sit very still and rest so now im going to have to run around after him. The doctor advised that he dont go into work for a full week but with his job in danger its an added pressure that he didnt really need. Bless. If he wanted me to pull my finger out all he had to do was ask lol. I hope he starts to feel better soon. Im gonna try my best to look after him. I love him so much, he works so hard for us.

Jims eye has almost copletely healed. He wouldnt take any time off work. Ive had a really bad bout of sickness again, I thought it was wearing off but noooooo. Ive had some really awfull stomach aches and its worried me a little but Ive got my scan tomorrow so get to see whats going on. (and double check that there is only one in there)

Went for my scan yesterday, they moved my dates from the 18th of august to the 14th. They moved my daughters dates too but she was born on her original date tht i kept in my head lol. Baby was moving around a lot and my daughter was impressed that it actually looked like a baby. Still feeling very very sick and have got a feeling that it isnt goig to wear off in a hurry. Oh wellWonder if this baby looks more like a boy or a girl???

I have decided to join a gym again, i know that im not going to be able to spar and stuff but at least ill be able to gently get my energy leavles back with yoga and pilates, Im just so fed up of sitting around and feeling sorry for myself, i need to ba a little pro-active. Plus this gym has a pool that Lacie is going to be able to use, and a creche. Its looking good at the min im just worried about the hidden costs.

im finally begining to feel better, sickness wise, although just lately Ive been feeling so low. Im fed-up all the time and sometimes just sit and cry for no reason!! I think its because Ive not really been doing very much. We have already got the babies pram, lol, Jim bought it off our friends, its the same make and modle as the one that Lacie had when she was new born. Its at our mothers house coz its still quite early to have baby things in the house. My husband has been visiting the gym and is really enjoyig it, hes starting to see the effects already! Better pull my finger out and get moving, im sure that a little exercise and me time will make me feel better and pull me out of my sour mood

20 weeks!!! Omg half was through, scan tomoz and cant wait to see what sex the baby is so i can start buying stuff!! Ive gone wild and started decorating and everything, The day has gone soooo slow today coz i just want tomorrow to be here already. I really need to know that everything is alright as this baby never moves!! nothing, apart from a little kick, once every six days or so, boring

Its a girl!!! I Knew it!! ha ha ha Feels like everyone is having a girl at the mo, Baby Emmy it is then, ha ha ha at least now i dont have to do much shopiing as i already have everything lol
