Saturday, 19 July I KNOW! I'm normally so active. It is hard to think how long it's going to take to get back to my old size. It's so HOT here too. About 92 and so humid. Thank God for air conditioning. I have never been inside this much in the summer! We bought a beach pass and haven't used it once because I feel like a beached whale too. They would probably send green peace out to rescue me. jaleca -
Friday, 18 July Lol...thanks...I just have a feeling I'm going to be a 42 week lady and ready to go crazy...I don't mind as long as my baby is healthy but the thought is friggin annoying! Beeccii -
Friday, 18 July Im using a doula. I want to have a natural in-hospital birth and have a husband who freaks out when Im in pain--sooo....we needed an experienced helping hand. She is wonderful already. We have had two meetings with her so far and have discussed labor and baby care. She really know a lot about labor and delivery and I think that she will be a godsend in the hospital.
A doula may help you avoid a c-section if you want to have a natural birth by assisting and encouraging you through the pain in order to avoid the complications that an epidural may cause. However, doulas also come in handy if you have an epidural by explaining and supporting you through a scary labor/delivery. Good luck! on-number-2 -
Monday, 14 July Hello. I am responding to your Hairy Situation :)
I am pregnant with my second child, but with my first I was shaved. I had my husband help me shave in the shower, (a day or two before birth)I left a line for design but I was pretty bare. I guess it is whatever you feel comfortable with. Although I I have read that it is cleaner for the baby if you shave. In fact, I read that hospitals would shave women who came into give birth to eliminate chances for infection or bacteria. Good luck and just make sure what ever you do you are comfortable. Wednesday, 9 July I think it's normal not to feel hiccups. One of the books I read said some people feel them and others don't. I don't think I've felt them either. And if I have I didn't know it was hiccups. My baby does a lot of the bigger kicks and punches. I'm sure everything is fine! Good luck with your little one!!!!

Wednesday, 25 June Thank you for the message. My doctor is very supportive, we are going to schedule a c-section a few days after my due date to give me time to go into labor on my own, because he can't induce me.... I went through labor with my son almost 6 years ago, but he was almost 11lbs so I COULD NOT push him out and had to have a c-section. I'm hoping that this time my baby will be smaller ( different fathers) The Dr. said, as long as the baby is 8lbs or under I should be fine ( I have an oval shaped pelvis)

Tuesday, 24 June I meant to get my eyebrows done today but I forgot and kinda chickened out. Has anyone every told you you look like Shanen Doherty? (At least in your profile pic you kinda do) momofbabygirl -
Monday, 23 June As for the underwear deal, me and you are both in the same boat. I have been using cotton bikini cut fruit of the loom or haynes from wal-mart. That's about the only thing that has seemed to help with me. Good luck with finding some relief! soonmamax4 -
Monday, 23 June thanks so much, ill definetly ask them about it...and saran wrap really, id think that would be so uncomfortable and not too sanitary either lol... soonmamax4 -
Saturday, 21 June thanks so much for the advice...could you tell me a little more about this belt, i really think its something i should look into, just for the fear of infection alone... sarahbrockman -

Monday, 16 June Hi...Glad you are doing fine now, it was just a muscle spasm nothing serious but Please ask your doctor to check for Urine infection just in case. Good luck with your baby. Take care. Jadedpoet -
Friday, 13 June LOL thats fine I am just now managing to get my fingers to work somewhat again though I still have the carpal tunnel in both hands bad. Umm my cousin informed me that she wrapped the saran wrap around her belly, first she would suck in her stomach then wrap it around her belly. It works by making you sweat in which girdles worn around you belly area would not. She would only take it off to wash and would replace a new one once cleansed, not sure if it works that long after having given birth in regards for your mom LOL. It could be worth a shot my mother is considering it as well but she really doesnt care she loves her little belly LOL Kristin14 -
Wednesday, 11 June Thanks for the help with the shoes. I'm not supposed to wear flip flops at work - but they are the only thing that feels ok, so I've been wearing them and no one has said anything. I am totally cracking up about your "barefoot and pregnant" comment - hahaha - i didn't even realize or think about it - but I do the samething at home! z-mommy -
Tuesday, 10 June Hello,
I just read your post about the sleeping toes and it made me laugh!! For the past 4-5 months, ONE of my big toes falls asleep or kind of "buzzes" when I bend it certain ways or step onto it weird... I thought I was the ONLY one with such a weird thing happening. Thanks for sharing that we are not alone!!

Tuesday, 10 June I just read your posting about tingling in your feet.....I felt that for the first time this morning. it was in both my feet and my left hand.......It was very weird and annoying. I don't think it has to do with drinking water because I have always drank lots of water and now I drink even more. All I could think of was that the baby was on a nerve. Fajr -
Monday, 9 June As long as it's dehydration it's nothing to worry about because dehydration is preventable. I`d rather drink and go to the bathroom alot rather than having that feeling in my feet ... Good Luck Hun!! Jadedpoet -
Monday, 9 June Hey. I'll type it to you later about the saran wrap, carpal tunnel has just about crippled my left hand so i am a one handed typer right now LOL. annenne -
Friday, 6 June Yeah, I was annoyed when the doctor told me, but if I want to try vaginal I have to find a new hospital and a new doctor. And apparently a lot of hospitals around here have that policy now, from what I hear the complications of a ruptured c-section scar can be pretty bad so they don't want to risk it. At least with the c-section my doctor is going to remove all the excess skin that I have from my first pregnancy, which is A LOT, so that's the only thing I'm looking forward to about the c-section.
