I found out I was pregnant on Monday January 7th, actually it was the 6th, but i didn't know for sure until i went to a clinic just to confirm i was pregnant with another pregnancy test. I kinda had a feeling I was since I was like 3 days late and i'm always on time. I took the initial pregnancy test at work, I was just stressing out and I couldn't wait to know any longer and it was kinda confusing at first because both lines weren't clear only one was clear and the other was faint. So of course I called my mom and asked her what it meant and she told me I think it means your pregnant but just in case call the nurses line and ask. So I did and the nurse said it sounds like a positive to me! I was kinda shocked... I went back to work for the remainder of time and then sped home to tell my boyfriend Ricky that we were pregnant.

Ricky and i have been together since june of 07 not quite a year but it's coming up. He's been the best thing that happened to me. He's very respectful and treats me the best i've ever been treated. So of course when i told him he was excited but i always look towards the worst and told him not to get too excited til I went to the doctor to confirm it. He had this little smirk on his face the rest of the day.

I was and still am sometimes extremely scared of taking on this huge responsibility and praying that I will do a better job then my mother. I'm worried about Ricky and I not having much money or anyone to really help us and also i'm still young to be a mom. I'm proud of myself for waiting until I was an adult, finishing school and having a career since my mom had me at 17 but i'm broke (And this means no offense to all those teen moms out there, my mom just didn't do the greatest job of raising me). I just have my fears but i know as soon as I see that baby I will do my best to make the best life for him or her.
