Tuesday, 5 August My baby had bad diaoer rush when he was breastfed and pooped 7-8 times a day. Of course, having less poop and air dry bottom helps with that, but I bought diaper rush cream from Whole Foods store "Baby Bee" line with Zink, Calendula, and many more natural and herbal ingridients and it worked great. Also, there is Weleda line of products and among many products they also have calendula Diaper care cream (not just any one but Diaper care) and it is also excellent. They also have it in Whole foods, but you can order it from target or other places. It cost about $10/ tube, but worth it. Let me know what Dr tells you. If he lets you switch, i can give you phone # of the guy who sold me Nestle for $15/24oz can, half price! maybe he can ship with some extra. In stores these cans are $29. oldie44 -
Tuesday, 5 August I am changing on my own. I called Nestle resource line and they advised me to do change gradually - I mix half and half of each formula and will do it for the next 2-3 days. I was confident about benefits of Nestle for 2 reasons - first, I used it with my last child and never had problems, second - last time I was in Dr office, they gave me written recommendations "try using Enfamil Gentleease or Nestle Good Start. This may help to prevent skin irritation and eczema in babies where thereis a history of dry skin or eczema". And Dr told me that these are more expensive formulas and that is why they do not use them as first choice. If cheaper work, why make parents waste money. But for me this is a wrong position. I do not have eczema, but if there is something that is gentler, I am for it for my child, no matter what cost. Besides, I do not want to accept what my Dr told me, that it is normal for babies on formula to have a BM every third day. When he goes once a day, he poops a lot, I do not want all these triple and to sit inside making him uncomfortable. I am an RN and used to listen to Drs and do my own research and take Drs responces critically. It is not that I do not trust them, but I like to go to Dr knowing something about the topic and run by them what I learned. Boopy -
Tuesday, 5 August Thank you. She holds it up for a few minutes...but it wobbles around like a bobble head. LOL So she doesn't have the control yet. She's acting just like a 3 week old now and that is her corrected age. It's so weird for me because my mind knows I had her in April!!! For the first 2 years of her life...her corrected age will be -3 months. So if she is 12 months...her corrected age will be 9 months. This is how her Drs will track her developement...based on her corrected age. At least she is not in the negative numbers anymore! oldie44 -
Tuesday, 5 August I am changing from Similac Advance to Nestle Good Start with Natural Cultures be cause of the opposite - not enough poops, like once every other day. Nestle has "comfort proteins", which means they break down cow milk molecules even more for easy digestion. Besides natural Cultures gives immunity protection. Boopy -

Friday, 1 August Hey there! Everything is going well, I'm still trying to take off the pregnancy weight and it gets hard sometimes to be motivated to work out because I'm so tired haha I had to start back to work already on Tuesday...wasn't too thrilled about it but I need to money and her dad isn't helping at all so I don't really have an option. How are you doing?? How's baby?? Rachel918 -
Tuesday, 29 July Thanks. She wasnts supposed to get her shots today so i didnt give her anyhing prior... I just feel bad because she is not a screaming so screaming for 2 hours is something that worries me. I wonder if it as a reaction to the whooping cough vaccine. If is she continues like this for another hour i will just call and make sure she is ok. shirmar -

Saturday, 26 July Thanks, I know that I shouldn't worry so much but I'm a worry wart by nature. Plus when I come home from work and her hair is missing it freaks me out. There's like a line around her head with thinning hair. My mom and husband say I worry to much but she's my girl. Thanks again. Boopy -
Friday, 25 July Awww....cooing...Anelise really isn't doing that yet. She is mainly a grunter...and we have nicknamed her gruntus. LOL
The stuffiness is never ending also. I hope my poor baby doesn't have allergies.
When she eats...she sucks, sucks, sucks...then breathes, breathes, breathes. I don't think she can breathe through her nose and swallow at the same time. Wonder if she will ever grow out of this..... amandag7 -

Oh my goodness what a cutie!!! That's great. He loves his monkey blanket already. I swear we can put him in others but he always prefers that one! Haha.
