Hi, congratulations on your baby! I have a question---how did you know you were in labor? I'll be 40 weeks this sunday, I lost my plug yesterday and have been having braxton hicks contractions constantly but their not progressing. I'm so scared I'm not going to know when the Real thing happens!

I asked for the pitocin but my midwife is really gunho about doing things naturally and letting mother nature take its course. They say I'm having Early labor not false labor...its all just a waiting game...I'm still having contractions but I'm not gonna go back to the hospital until my water breaks or the contractions get so bad I can't stand it any more. I wanted to be induced..but might as well let my body do its thing and he'll be here when he's ready.

I was dialated to a 2 for a month before I had my daughter before. I have heard some women being a 4 weeks before they deliver. But it sure is exciting to know you are progressing. I had a Dr appt yesterday and he didn't tell me anything :(

Hi nic1182, I hope this question isn't too personal, but I noticed that you said you are 1cm dilated, Have you lost you mucus plug yet, or have you seen the "bloody show?" I've been feeling so much pressure down below for the past week or so, I just know in my heart that I've dilated. However I don't think I've lost my mucus plug nor have I see any "bloody show." I suffering with all this painful pressure, and I'd hate for it to all be for nothing:(

Im glad I read ur post, i havent heard of anyone else with low fluid. My Dr. said i can try drinking lots of water it could help but really there was nothing to do about it. Im glad u gave me ur info on it cause my Dr. seems to always be in a hurry and never has time to explain things to me. I found out when i got my 3d scan at 29 weeks. Since than, they look at him real fast on the u/s screen at my appts. But they dont tell me anything just that his head is pushing against my pelvic which is causes lots of pressure and sharp pains.
So how are u feelin now? Any more leakage?

 It's real pretty. I like how you complemented the pink with green. It makes the pink just right and not too overbearing. I love pink for little girls but you would be surprised how fast you get sick of it. I got so sick of pink outfits I told people I would burn them if they bought my daughter any more. LOL. She is five now so I am over it and wear pink myself again.

thanks for the info on the nonstress tests! my doc didn't say anything about eating breakfast. i will anyway, because i'm pregnant and hungry :-) and my appt is not until mid-morning. you said she moved - do you think it was the juice that helped? i'll probably bring my own food and juice with me - i don't trust them to know what they are doing.
