The birth story of Ella Louise Seymour!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I started having contrations at 7.45am went into the hospital at 9.30 and they gave me internal at 10.00am and i was 3cm dilated so was able to stay in the hospital. they told me i had 2 wait another 4hrs for my next internal. Have contractions every 3minutes and lasting 30-40seconds. By about 1.00pm the pain was getting really strong and i was shaking it was that painful so i asked for pain relief. I was given gas and air about 1.30 and 2.00pm they gave me an internal and i was 7cm dilated and very stretchy but her head still very high up. They said they would check me again at 6.00pm so they gave me another internal at 6.00 and i still was the same so they broke my waters. By 7.00pm still no change so they decided it was best for me to have an c-section. They set the room up and then i had a spinal about 7.30 they cut me open at 7.53and then ella was born at 8.00pm healthy little girl.weighed 7lb 12.

I was diagnosed with PCOS when i was 16 i was really worried i wouldnt catch pregnant. Until i was 20 thats all i wanted was a baby even tho i wasnt ready for 1, the thought of not having one made me want 1 more. Then i started thinking if its not ment to be its not ment to be.I found myself a new partner at the beging of this year and after 3months i found out i was 5weeks pregnant wow wat a shock, I told my boyfriend and he was happy, at first it was great news for myself i couldnt believe i was actually pregnant but then after a week or 2 i started to get really depressed and as me and my boyfriend didnt really have much chance 2 know each other before i found out i was pregnant it caused a great strain on our relationship, it was very difficult and i was so unhappy and i just wanted 2 be excited that i was pregnant but i wasnt. After 3months of being pregnant my hormones calmed down and i wasnt so depressed i was back to my normal self and me and ricky started getting on better again,were so happy that were having a baby and things are just getting better and better.

Hi,

I used to have pretty bad stretch marks and red scars around my belly region ever since I gave birth to my three kids.I had tried Vitamin E oil and cocoa butter which a number of people had recommended but unfortunately it didn't seem to work too well. My Doctor had even suggested that I go for a Tummy Tuck. I then recently read an article about a lady who supposedly got rid of her stretch marks using a particular cream. I tried it and it worked really well. It took a number of weeks but my stretch marks soon faded away. You can read the lady's article at the link below.

I too thought i would have been gutted at not having my home water birth but in the end i was in so much pain for so long and just wanted to hold him and for it to be over. It turned out it was the best delivery i've ever had thanks to the 2 midwives who delivered him. He's amazing. Just added some pics. He's the spitting image of Curtis when he was born. How's Ella doing?? How you feeling??

I can't believe i had my 4th stop and start last night. Reg contractions 6mins apart lasting for at least 1 minute for hours and they stopped AGAIN. How on earth are you supposed to know if this is it??? As this is baby number 3 you'd think i'd know by now. So So Frustrated today. Just added my 40 week pic.

Hey there... I saw on tv that getting on your hands and knees and gently rocking back and forth may help the baby rotate, and it actually worked for the lady that was in labor. So you may want to give it a try!

A little advice I was given by my midwife when I was preg with my 2nd son (we're on #4 & final son now) if you start having braxton hicks take a nice warm bath & drink an ice cold glass of water. If it is real labor it will speed it up & if it is false, it's supposed to stop it. I can attest to the part if it's real. I was to be induced in the morning & I kept having pains so as my hubby & Mom slept I ran a nice warm bath in my garden tub & settled in to drink my ice cold glass of water & oh my goodness! I could barely get up out of the tub! I was calling to my sleeping hubby to help me out & we went to the hospital. I got in my room at 3:08am & my baby boy delivered at 4:09am! I wish all delivery's were so speedy! Not so much with my 3rd son, maybe it's an even # thing & I will have the same luck with this baby! (I can hope right?!) Good luck!

yer ive had them for a few months, but now i know she engaged i know it wont be long hopfully! braxton hicks feels like the babys poking her hole body out at the bottom of your bump, and goes all tight, i thought thats what it was untill my midwife told me they was braxton hicks hopefully not long to go now! x

nicandflump- i had a midwife app yeatrerday she came to my home to do a birthplan with me, i told her i was getting lots of pressure in my private parts like a shooting pain, she checked me and told me i was engaged, so maybe you are? good luck x

I'm fine. I guess you're having braxton Hicks. It's weird. I know I must be having them, but I don't notice them unless my hands happen to be on my bell.
