~08/18/09~ So we had a great little birthday party for his birthday, and that's been noted and saved in a blog for reading years from now! He's walking everywhere these days, all over the place!! He L*O*V*E*S golf, you just wouldn't believe how much he likes it! He has his own little set of clubs and toy golf balls and he'll walk all over the place hitting the golf ball with his clubs. Chat is working with him to get him to hold the club 'properly' with both hands and the correct hand on top, LOL. He just loves it. Once Chathum discovered Chat's golf clubs though, his own were not longer good enough! He loves real golf balls. He'll say "goh" for golf and says "cuh" when talking about clubs. He walks back to his room (where Chat's clubs are for now) and says "cuh cuh cuh" and goes straight to them and tries to pull them out. I've got the next Tiger Woods, ya'll - remember that. He is constantly jabbering up a storm and is very interested in everything around him. He loved the trip to the zoo for his birthday, and actually pointed out the animals in every exhibit we saw. I really didn't anticipate him really understanding our trip to the zoo, but he totally surprised me!! I am planning on making a photo book from the zoo with all the photos we took. He got to feed a giraffe! It was a great weekend. He will answer when you ask ''what does a horsey say" by blowing a raspberry - much like a horse does when it 'blows'. It's super cute. When we play with his toy horses I will make a 'daddy horse' deep-voiced neigh sound, and Chathum will make a higher pitched squeal sound for the baby horse~ too cute!! We took him to where they have a little waterpark at the zoo for babies and he loved it. Our friends and their twin girls came too and the babies were just running everywhere playing in the fountains. So we had to take them to Riney B Park to the waterpark and they loved that too! I can't believe I didn't take Chathum sooner. Definite must for next year!! There's been such a flurry of activity lately that I could just keep writing on and on about what he's been up to, but I'd never finish, LOL!! So, for now, we'll just end on the fact that Chathum is such a big boy and he's learning things so fast! Oh, before I end, I'll also add that he LOVES to try and eat with his silverware. I tell you, he will throw his food unless you let him try to eat with a utensil of some sort. OK~ ending again~ he's growing and healthy and getting his top two teeth! Lots of crankiness but soon enough they'll be in. My sister is having her baby in just 2 short months!! Time to shop! I am trying really hard to focus on her upcoming birth to try to put a lid on my desire to have another baby this soon. From what I read, it's recommended to wait at least a year before conceiving again after the birth of one child, two years if you breastfed. Well, one year down - can I really hold out another whole year? I don't think so but for now we just aren't in a financial position to have another. No health insurance is the problem. So, whenever Chat gets a job that has insurance and it's affordable, I suppose that is when we will discuss our options and sort out the life ahead of us. We were hoping for TTC in September, but I don't think that is going to happen right now. Praying that KUSI has a position open up for him, because that would just be an ideal job in all aspects. Lord make a way! God bless everyone and their families, and hoping all is well for each of you!!
