My husband and I are expecting our first baby!! Baby is a BOY!! We are very excited. My favorite parts of the day are when I feel Baby rolling about in my tummy, and I just adore the times when his Daddy is talking to him! His due date still seems so far away; maybe that is why I haven't had the urge to start preparing his room and all of that good stuff! The office will become Baby's room, but we haven't even started the transformation. I think it's because we haven't started to buy the crib and stuff yet - so why get a room ready when we don't have the furniture to put in it yet! lol. Maybe I will get inspired here in the next few weeks and we will get started. I have to be one of the happiest people on the planet, despite all of the 'side effects' of pregnancy, because I have the greatest husband whom I love SO VERY MUCH!! I wouldn't trade my life for ANYTHING. I am so excited to start our little family together and just enjoy the life we make for ourselves :) We have so much love for our little man already, and I can't wait to meet him!
~05/16/08~ WOW only 100 days left. Today is Friday, hurray! Work is going to be a long one though. There are two other ladies in the office side, and one is not here, the other is just an unhappy person and she CONSTANTLY CONSTANTLY complains. ALL DAY EVERY DAY!!! I feel like telling her to stuff it, and if she hates her job and life that much, go do something else! NO ONE IS MAKING YOU STAY HERE. She acts like a whiney brat, and she is over 50 years old!! ~Anyhow, I don't want to get worked up about that today. I am just looking forward to going home today and enjoying the weekend off :) Unfortunately, it is going to rain, but atleast that will make me stay at home and clean out the office to get it ready for baby's room!

Hey Nich~ Yep- apparently that is where BH starts- right at the top and works its way down and around. I was having 3 days of these a few weeks back and finally called the nurse to ask. I always thought that BH and contractions would be more in the vag area. When you are getting them, rest a while and don't do anything too active (That's the advice i got from my nurse.) We've got 3 more months of BH to go!

I read your comment about ice - I am a chronic ice eater. LOL. and Im sooo excited that they give you ice chips when you are in delivery! :) And I agree that the flavor/texture of the ice makes a big diffrerence!

I have also gained 10 lbs in the last 6 weeks! I looked in the mirror this morning and I actually have BACK FAT!!! AAAHHHH!!! However, I agree with you. Its ok and even healthy to gain weight while pregnant. The weight will come off after the baby is born. Have a good day!
