Thursday, 20 Sep I am going to be induced on Monday. I spoke with the doctor today and asked her some questions I found online about are you ready for an induction. She said my cervix is soft, midline position, the baby is at 0 station. I had contractions again yesterday too. Also, I asked her point blank if the induction was simply a convenience thing for me or if it was for the baby's health too. She basically told me that with the gestational diabetes she would recommend proceeding with the induction, she said the baby is small and needs to come out and EAT. That did it, I am all ready for the induction now! surprisemom -
Wednesday, 19 Sep Don't think you are being a baby at all! i feel the same, can hardly walk have resorted to riding the scooters at Walmart and other stores. Today hubby pushed me in a wheelchair at Lowes. When did these stores get so damn big? This is also my second. Did not have this problem with my first, but this baby is Sooooo Active just never stops moving and it hurts. Sometimes he balls up on one side or the other and i feel like I am having contractions or have to get in a warm tub to releive the pressure. Sometimes, feels like he is hanging down so low he could drop out at any moment. Doc says the head is right there, am 2 cm. She wants to induce on Monday but I am only going to be 38 weeks on Thurs not sure what to do.... coco*butter -
Tuesday, 18 Sep Omg yes the pain, yup it does feel like someone is stabbing in your cervix. I been them more stronmg and even now when am in bed, just with the baby moves it hurt. I cried , I puke and doc said it normal. I think he doesnt know what to say just it normal.all this pain and last week I was just a finger-tip dialated.
I hope your pain subside and doesnt end up getting worst like me. Take care. andreahaz -
Tuesday, 18 Sep Hi, doctors here in the UK dont check for dilation before being in labour. When I go into hospital on Monday they will check my cervix to see if anything has happened before inducng. They still will induce me if nothing has happened. whitney -
Friday, 14 Sep I'm w/ you, girl! I am not dialated or efaced AT ALL!! I've had so much pressuse, I knew I had to be a little. But I was nothing!!! I guess our little ones just aren't ready!! nicola37 -
Monday, 10 Sep i know how you feel, i spent the whole weekend in hospital, with contractions, and some bleeding, i thought this is it, im going home with my baby, but they gave me tablets to stop the contractions, damn, lol. guess we wont be long. nicola.x AmandaZ -
Monday, 10 Sep I went to the dr last week for regular apt, was having contractions, they sent me to the hospital, dialated to 2 effacement at 50%...they kept me over night, gave me IV fluids, I kept contracting, so they put me on something to stop the labor...Im thinking WTF....they kept me over night and sent me home on medication...I talk to a nurse friend of mine and she said if I kept feeling crampy like I have been I should just stop taking them medication...she said just tell them it was making me sick..which it does..then If I start again wait around a bit before I go to the hospital...I know how you feel...it is disapointing though...good luck..well keep our fingers crossed...maybe not much longer!! keribear -

Monday, 3 Sep hey about the diareah I would call bc it could be a stomach virus. Last week I went from constipated to diareah with HORRIBLE cramps at night It would make me cry. I was stubborn and didnt tell him til it was almost over and he knew exactly what it was. My doc didnt perscribe me n e thing since he got the drift that it was over maybe your doc can! lass -
Saturday, 1 Sep Hey, when i was in 31 weeks Doc said that baby's head is down and will stay in that position. Week 35- doc said bub head is engaged and my cervix is soft but good. Week 37- Doc said bub is quite low and cervix is still soft but not dilated/effaced. I have another 19 days for my due date! The only thing I did after 35 weeks was to be a bit careful, not overstraining myself with brisk walks or lifting heavy things.. it worked for me!! Now that am full term .. I much relived! Hope its of some help to you.. Take care and Good luck :) surprisemom -
Saturday, 1 Sep Saw your comment on week 35, I CAN relate. I have a little soccer player on the way. I get those waves too and it seems like my little guy only is awake when I try to sleep or if I wait more than 3 hours between eating. He goes bananas and moves constantly til I finish eating, then he calms down a bit. I am afraid he will be VERY demanding about eating once on the outside. And according to other moms I have spoken with having a super active baby on the inside can mean a mischevious little one is on the way! Guess we'll both see... Alexa -
Friday, 31 Aug I could def. relate sometimes my daughter moves like shes dancing then the next day she acts like she is hungover lol and will only move when she hears something loud! They def. have personalities already amywoodlee -

Thursday, 23 Aug I would ask the doc. if I was you. My doc. is talking about inducing me at 36 weeks due to health reasons. But my due date is Oct. 5th also. So, even if you could be induced at 37 weeks that would be the 14th to the 20th of September. And who knows you might go that early anyways. It is amazing to think we are getting so close. I sit around looking and playing around with dates.
Best of luck with your little one and to your mother. lin -
Sunday, 19 Aug no i havent really figured out what it was... it sure hurt though! I was wondering if maybe it wasnt just really sore from my belly begining to drop? Who knows!! I thought that the due date my doc. was giving me was off too. It was sept. 28.. then after all the ultrasounds it keeps getting earlier and earlier! She stuck with sept. 18 as my DUE DATE but at the latest ultrasound at 30 weeks, he measured at sept. 15! She actually just mentioned at my last appointment that baby is really big! He was 6lbs 10oz (approximatly of course) at my 34 week check up... she is thinking again my due date may be late...but decided not to change it. She said she thinks he will be early though and if i dont deliver by the 18th she may induce me depending on his size. So you may be right about your due date being off! KIMBERLYW -
Tuesday, 14 Aug No worries with your poo situatuion...The baby is cramming your intestines. Sometimes the food gets stuck as it passes. Some stays a little longer and breaks down diff than normal. It not uncommon to fluctuate between diarrhea and constipation, oh joy! I just had that happen today. Terrible stomach cramps and the runs! Now I can't go again. o the joys. Take care, hope this helps. jrose -
Tuesday, 14 Aug I am with you completely on the getting up to pee in the middle of the night. Getting up 6 times is a good night for me, 10 is a bad...yes, i said 10, my bladder is small I guess!!!! Im assuming that is why I am so tired during the day! I guess its preparing for those middle of the night feedings:) Good Luck!
