Hey everyone! I am new to this website but found it online and thought that it was pretty cool. This is my third pregnancy. My due date is September 16th and I can't wait!!! My husband and I have two other children. Both girls. Our oldest Talia is 6 and a half. Our youngest Brooke is 2 and a half. This pregnancy was very unexpected for both of us but it is such a blessing! We are just hoping and praying that we have a little boy this time. This will be our last child. I would really like to experience raising both girls and a boy. Everyone please wish me luck!

WELL, TODAY I AM 12 WEEKS AND 4 DAYS. STILL FEELING A LITTLE M/S BUT IT SEEMS TO BE GETTING A LITTLE BIT BETTER. I AM STILL CRAVING SALADS, SALADS, AND MORE SALADS. IT'S HARD FOR ME TO EAT ANYTHING BUT SALAD BECAUSE IT MAKES ME WANNA THROW UP! I HAVE MY 13 WEEK CHECK-UP ON TUESDAY AND I CAN'T WAIT. I'M SEEING A DOCTOR THAT SPECIALIZES IN HIGH RISK PREGNANCIES BECAUSE BOTH OF MY PREVIOUS PREGNANCIES WERE HIGH RISK AND I HAVE A BICORNIAL UTERUS (I THINK THAT'S WHAT IT'S CALLED). BUT ANYWAY- THEY DO AN ULTRASOUND EVERYTIME I GO FOR AN APPOINTMENT. I'VE HEARD ABOUT A LOT OF PEOPLE WHO HAVE FOUND OUT THE SEX OF THE BABY AROUND 13 WEEKS SO I AM HOPING AND PRAYING I WILL BE ABLE TO FIND OUT WHAT I'M HAVING. MY HUSBAND AND I ARE REALLY HOPING FOR A BABY BOY!!! WISH ME LUCK AT MY APPOINTMENT! HOPEFULLY THE BABY WILL COOPERATE. :)
March 11, 2008
Hey everyone- Well, I had my appointment today. 13 weeks today. I had another ultrasound and the doctor said that the baby looks great. All of my tests came back negative and he measured something on the baby in the ultrasound and said that the risk of any birth defects is very, very low. He said the "normal" low range is 1/1800 but mine is 1/1100, so that's definately a positive! I asked him to check my cervix as well because by this time with both of my previous children, I was already dialated to 3. I was very worried but the doctor checked me and said NO DIALATION!!! So, I feel alot better now. I was hoping that they might be able to tell the sex of the baby at this time, but no luck. He couldn't tell yet. But I should know at my next appointment! I can't wait until then! My morning sickness seems to be fading now. I ate two taco bell hard shell tacos yesterday and they didn't make me sick!!!!!!!!!!!!
April 8th
Well, today we had another doctor's appointment. Everything has been going really well. I have been having a little bit of a hard time breathing but found out that it is probably just the baby pressing against my diaphragm so nothing really to worry about. The doctor told us today that we are having a little baby BOY!!! My husband and I are very excited because we have wanted a baby boy for sooo long. Finally after our two beautiful little girls, we are getting our baby boy. And as you can imagine I have already told basically everyone that we know! Well, that's about all that's new!
JULY 20
Hey everyone- it has been a while since I added an update about this pregnancy. I have already started going to see my doctor every other week. I have a bicornial uterus which just means that I have a septum in my uterus, so they want to keep a close eye on me and the baby. Also about a month ago, they were a little worried about the amount of blood flow the baby was getting from the placenta. The didn't think it was enough but they said that as long as the baby was growing and getting bigger, then he was getting everything that he needs. He was 3 pounds then and at my last appointment (Thursday) he had already gained a pound in two weeks, so he is now 4 pounds. And my doctor said at this appointment that the blood flow looks good now. I have scheduled my c-section for Sept. 9th at 39 weeks but I seriously do not feel that I will last that long. I have a feeling that I will be going in to labor by 37 weeks. And hopefully that feeling is right! My son is still breach but I have been feeling his back and butt a lot in my hips. That just started about a week or so ago. It's such a wierd feeling because I don't remember either of my girls every making me feel that way. Also- I had a dream last night that my son was being born early. I was worried about him but the doctor's and nurses in my dreams were saying that he was gonna be fine. But for some reason, in my dreams he weighed in at only 3 pounds. Has anyone else been having dreams of giving birth? I'm wondering if this means that I might go in to labor early???? Oh well, I'm just ready for this pregnancy to come to an end and to be able to hold and see my first born son!! I can't wait!
Madame Zaritska's reading
Madame Zaritska, our resident clairvoyant, wants to help you prepare for the arrival of your child. Here she does her best to predict certain aspects of your labor and birth experience.
What she senses for you
The day you deliver, outside will be rainy. Your baby will arrive in wee hours of the morning .
After a labor lasting approximately 4 hours, your child, a boy, will be born. Your baby will weigh about 7 pounds, 8 ounces, and will be 20 inches long. This child will have light blue eyes and a little patch of brown hair.
