April 8, 2008 - Week 21 (or 20?)

I have been feeling the baby move around quite a bit the past few days, i am really excited because i am going for an ultrasound in a few hours!! I know lots of hospitals here won't tell you the sex of the baby, but me and my husband are hoping to find out - so i hope i find out today.

Went to the ultrasound, didn't take very long, maybe 20 minutes then they let us look at the baby. Baby was breech on my very right side. The baby was sleeping on its stomach with its feet tucked up under its stomach. Of course i live in Canada and so they wouldn't tell me if it was a boy or girl, we we're kind of disappointed because we want to know. However i don't think its worth the 100 to pay a private clinic to determine. Baby didn't move much because it was sleeping, but it looked to be healthy and normal!! They told me my due date was August 26 which is a week later than i was initially told by my other dr.'s so i guess we'll see when it all happens!

March 25, 2008 - Week 19

Had my prenatal appointment with my delivery doctor today - he seems very nice which is a great thing! My husband came with me so he was able to hear the babys heartbeat, soo exciting for us. It was about the same around 149 today!

February 26, 2008 - Week 15

Had another Dr. appt today and everything seems to be going good! My belly is growing but i haven't gained that much weight which is good :) And so exciting - i heard the baby's heartbeat today - 149!!!!

January 30, 2008

Well i had my first pre-natal exam at the end of last week and everything seemed to go ok. I received my letter today from my delivery dr. and i am going to see him at the end of March. I received my letter for my ultrasound appointment today too and I am kinda disappointed, i didn't want to wait until APRIL to go for my first ultrasound.

January 24 2008

Well this is my first pregnancy, and i have only told a few people so far! My first pre-natal exam was delayed so i am heading to the doctor tomorrow. I have been pretty lucky so far, haven't been sick at all! Well for the first month i had really bad bloating, and felt nautious but it has all passed. I am still really tired but i have definately had more energy this past week i think i slept for the past 8 weeks straight. My stomach is definately growing, it used to be nice and flat now there is definately a noticeable bump there!

We found out we were pregnant on December 20, 2007!

Have the first Dr. Appt scheduled for January 15, 2008!
