Hi My name is Naomi and I am pregnant with my second baby.
I have been with my partner for 8 years now, we met when i was 16 and he was 35. We had a beautiful baby girl in April 2005 called Molly, She will be 3 on the 15th. She is the most gorgeous little girl that I have ever seen.
I am now 25 weeks pregnant with a little boy, his name will be Thomas, and i can't wait to meet him. My partner is the last male in his whole family so now the surname will live on for another generation.

. This pregnancy is totally different to my pregnancy with Molly. I didn't have any symptoms or illness with Molly. But at the beginning of this pregnancy I suffered with nausea for the first 11 weeks or so, and now I feel extremely tired all the time. I think that if there was a sleeping competition I would win!! I'm not fun to be around because I'm soo tired and I get grumpy fast. I hope this tiredness passes soon because it's getting me down.

At the moment my baby is really active, I absolutely love the feeling. Is it weird? But If he is moving I know he is Okay.
I have sooooo much housework to do it's unbelievable. I'm just too tired to do it! I've got a lot to do before he arrives and time is ticking away fast.
Well I have enough clothes for him when he does arrive. As soon as I found out what sex he was I've not been able to stop baby shopping!!! It's mad! Oh well, it's always best to be prepared I suppose.

WEEK 29!!! OMG only 11 weeks to go. I'm excited and nervous at the same time. Baby moves around so much now, and he's getting really strong. I feel enormous at the moment and every part of me aches. I'm still very tired. I've finally got a letter from the hospital to see a consultant. Because I had an emergency c-section with Molly, they just want to go over birth plans etc.
People have been telling me that I'm quite big for the amount of weeks that I am, I'll post some pictures soon so you can have a look. I've got all the clothing that I need for the first 6 months of this baby's life, I can't stop collecting, I'm terrible!!
I've still got to get a cot, bedding etc. My B/F's mum has said that she wants to buy the moses basket, I've just got to choose which one I want.

You are lucky! We have no one in our family like that. We have to search for friends just to find a babysitter to go out after the kids are in bed. We have beenout once in the lasy year. Its soooo tough being alone with kids all day and night... no time to ourselves. I WISH we had someone take themfor a bit once in a whil.e. Like on Sunday from 4-8 when we are going to a dinner theatre but we still can't find a sitter :( *sigh* Hopefully we find one, those tickets were $100!!!

Thanks for your message. I know big families aren't for everyone and that's okay! I just get so sad reading other people's comments (I suppose I should be used to it by now.) There are so many more important issues than making large families feel like they are criminals / or irresponsible (like we should be ashamed!!! - NOT) How very very sad indeed. I am standing tall - One Proud Momma!! Congrats on your little boy - the perfect family.

Thankyou so much for your message hun. Its really helpful. It's nice to chat to someone who as been through it all before. Gona write a hospital list and get myself to the shops. I've got my hospital bag and its bright pink he,he!
Hope you are feeling well.
Bought an heartbeat machine today so i can listern to the babys heartbeat everyday and stop me from worrying. Its really good. Picks up the kicks and movement.

Lol so far I'm totally going overboard, I might have to trim back. I packed pretty much everything I bought for a newborn lol. I read somewhere you're supposed to bring a whole package of diapers ... the hospital doesn't give any? I figured a couple for practice or something, but a whole package?

oh your in england , that is were my mom is right now, lol not sure what part, but she is visiting her cousins. im not sure if they do that test in england, but in the u.s they do, i have to see my doctor every two weeks now untill the baby come's, it was every 4 weeks , what are you haveing?? Im haveing a boy.
Dont have any craveings, just like to eat lol.

They should be giving you one soon, i had mine done at 24 weeks, you have to take this drink 3 hours before your appt. and they draw blood from you.. The drink taste gnarly lol

don't worry, I'm also a wimp when it comes to pain. But I figured that since millions of women around the world give birth everyday - it can't be THAT bad! Lets the both of us wait and see.
By the way, the NHS sounds wonderful - we have to fork out lots and lots of money for nice proper hospitals and decent service here. The government services are terrible!

Just got back from my scan. All is good. Such a relife when you have a scan. He's head down and curled up with his feet next to his face. He's got longer than avarage size legs. Don't know were they come from cause no ones tall in the famliy he,he!
I've not had no mental cravings really. I love ice lollies and anything sweet,lots of cake he,he! xxx

Yeah think i'm gona give the perthidine a try. Gona try and stay at home as long as poss. I've got no idea how bad the pain is gona get or be. Really don't want to have an epidural if i can help it.

Yea I'm excited! My doctor told me yesterday that I might be further along than what they thought. So its all depending on my ultrasound. I get that done monday.
