Alicia23 - Wednesday, 27 Feb I'm so excited to find out the sex too!!! Only 13 days!!! Not like i'm counting or anything lol. I'm totally with you on feeling like it's christmas can't wait!!! Take care xx
Alicia23 - Tuesday, 26 Feb Oh she will be fine just don't stress to much!!! Hope your doing well take care xx
Little-Pea - Monday, 25 Feb Ok so you say Molly sits on the potty and wants to wear her knickers, and 'knows' what to do but 'refuses' to do it. I'd say she's showing intrest but is not quite ready to actually do a wee. What I would suggest is; Don't make a big deal out of it! Easying up on the issue will make it easier for both of u. Put her in pull ups instead of her knickers. Explain to her that when she wants to Do a wee on her potty she can pull them down like knickers. Don't reward her for 'sitting' on the potty. Instead get new stickers, stamp or whatever and tell her to call you when she's done a wee on her potty, and she'll get a 'SPECIAL' reward. ONLY THEN REWARD Molly. However most importantly just give her some time. SHe doesn't seem 'ready' to wee and only shows interest. If you push her she might get discouraged which will only delay the process for her. Update me how it goes and good luck ;)
MelisaK - Monday, 25 Feb It does take time but if you are going to do it then you need to make the nappies go bye bye. I will also say the older she gets the harder it will be. I was a preschool teacher for 5 years and every chid who came to my class not potty trained was within 1 week. One bad habit I did with my boys is put the potty chair in front of the tv and let them watch their favorite show without a diaper or pull up on. It will be easier on her and you if she is in a relaxed setting. So if she likes tv....why not??? I hope you get through this..it can be a nightmare!
Little-Pea - Monday, 25 Feb nimzm2b- Molly probably treats the nappy as her toilet. You need to see if she's ready to be toilet trained-can't force it! The signs to look for are: Does she show interest in going to the toilet? U know takes off her nappy etc? Maybe make the toilet exciting 4her. Put up little pictures around the toilet, decorate the bathroom together, make a reward chart and tell her that when she's ready to go to let u know and she'll get a sticker on her chart. But remember don't force it! Just encourage and get her interested in it. I'm not sure how old Molly is but it's normal for 3y/o to be still in nappies. It has to happen on its own. I'm not a mum yet but I work in childcare. Hope this helps xxx
Alicia23 - Monday, 25 Feb I'm potty training my son at the moment too!!! All day i'm letting him go without a nappy so he can go to the potty and do a wee wee or poo poo when ever and it seems to be working!!!We've had a few accidents but nothing to bad. i'm putting his pull up's on after his evening bath ready for bed and they come off first thing in the morning!!! Once he has mastered going with nothing on i'm going to start introducing big boy pants!!! Hope this helps, take care xx
MelisaK - Monday, 25 Feb First of all...what are nappies? Are they the equivalent of pull-ups? If they are...do not use them except at sleepy time. Underwear only and let her know the nappies are all gone. I have potty trained many toddlers and the best way to do it is consistency. Do not give in...she will test you. But ultimately she will not like being wet. If you have any questions just ask.
Banana0708 - Saturday, 23 Feb hey i read your comment on week 18. do you have a lot of food cravings? i'm one of those who hasnt gained a single pound since i've been pregnant, and i wonder if its because i'm not eating enough? or dont crave any food? someone i know tho just had an ultrasound and the baby measured a week small and now i'm nervous that it will happen to me because i havent been eating enough. :( good luck tho! whens your u/s?
tdawn - Saturday, 23 Feb Thank you for the nice comments about my baby! I can't help but agree!! =) I live in Canada, and here they won't tell you the sex until you are past 20 weeks because they are afraid people will abort their babies if they end up being the wrong sex (definitely not the case here!). Also, the regular prenatal scan is almost always at 18 weeks, so I guess it isn't that common to find out the sex here (I didn't know this beforehand.. they gave me a pamphlet before I went in). My dad offered to pay for a 3d scan yesterday, so I may do that around 25-30 weeks, and that way I'll have 10 good weeks to shop for the little one! You will have to post some pictures of you little one when you have your u/s! I am sure that he/she will be absolutely adorable!
dawniek - Saturday, 23 Feb Thanks hun. It's so hard to pridict how we are going to feel towards the end. Hope your ok? xxx
tdawn - Friday, 22 Feb Well, I had my scan and they couldn't tell us the sex anyway! Our baby was so adorable to watch on the screen that we didn't mind too much!
tdawn - Friday, 22 Feb Thank you for your comment about finding out the sex! I think I was really swayed by what other people thought (especially family), so I appreciated your comment about doing what you wanted rather than living up to everyone elses expectations! My hubby and I have decided to find out the sex tomorrow (if we can!). We are very excited. Of course, if we do find out we plan to keep it to ourselves so it will still be surprise for our family members when the time comes!
dawniek - Wednesday, 20 Feb Oww thanks for the nice comment you made about the name i've picked. Stay in touch. xxx

dawniek - Monday, 18 Feb Hi hun! Yep green tea is fine. I've not heard you can't have it. I know it contains caffine tho. You can buy decaf green tea. I drink redbush tea. It's gorge. You make it the same way you make tea. It don't contain caffine and its rich in antioxidants. xxx
christydk - Monday, 18 Feb Hello, I now live in Denmark and my Dr here told me it was absolutley fine to drink Green Tea. Apparently for every 2 cups of coffee you can have 4-5 cups of green tea (caffine related)I get Clipper Green Tea with Ginseng from Tesco sent over, LOVE IT! I also like their white tea too! Hope you are feeling well!
