12 WEEK SCAN

10 years since I had my daughter...I have been 'broody' for a year or so and could hear my biological clock tick. Nothing seemed to matter as much as planning for our 2nd child.

I am constantly trying to hide the fact that I am a nervous wreck, worrying if everything is ok. It must be because of my age and how much I want it this time. Children are so precious.

Did you have a c/section too? I still have so much weight to lose and i wasnt sure if it had any thing to do with having a c/section.
I have not been to Cornwall but i am going to North Devon for a long weekend in 3 weeks.

Your cat is so cool, how is he with Pollyanna? is her alowed in her room at all? I dont like to shut my cats out of rooms and we are in a flat so when you shut the bedroom doors it gets too stuffy in there, henry is still in with us at the mo.
It will be good to find out what they say at your weaning session as mine is not till the 17th September.
Where abouts in the UK are you?

Hi,
I have at last added some photos.
Are you managing to keep your 10 year old entertained.
Have you looked in the library for stuff to do with Pollyanna as i go to 2 rhyme time things twice a week in the library they are only for 30 mins but at least it gets me out twice a week.
How old is Pollyanna now? when did you start giving her baby rice?

Have you found much to do with Pollyanna in the week? Are you going back to work?
I have found a few groups to go to, i find it hard to entertain Henry when we are in the house as he still wont go in his swing.

hey! Just wondering how little Pollyanna is doing! Any news on her hip? We took Tiago to this fancy doctor a few weeks ago, and he didn�t see anything wrong on a physical exam, and even looking at his scan, I had the feeling he wanted to say that this plastic diaper he needs to wear is too much, but he couldn�t... He said if he doesn�t wear it and he comes back in a couple months he will probably be fine, but then what if his hip for some reason is still not perfect then you�ll think "why didn�t we..." I felt like he just wanted to cover his back. A LOT of people I meet here say "oh, my daughter had the same thing, my niece, my neighboor", etc. But it seems like they all had to wear 2 diapers only. I guess we saw a very cautious doctor. So he still has 10 days to go wearing it full time, and then 2 weeks only at night. Then we have another scan at the end of august. I hope everything is well with Pollyanna next appt.! Keep me posted! Juliana

Hi! My problem with working is similar. I have to make more money than childcare, and if I only profit say- $30 than, whats the point? I didn't realize how difficult it was going to be, going back to work and having Chase being well taken care of at the same time. Also, I can't NOT work, financially it is impossible for us, I need to make money-I am trying to find a work at home job, I hope I do, it would be sooo great. Anyway, we own a pizzeria, and I make sure to try & get out of the house everyday, even if I just go hang out at the pizzeria and have lunch, or help out. I also go to walmart and the store alot. I tried to find out if there is any mom & baby classes or groups around, but haven't found anything yet. I read all of your comments about other moms being like us and being lonely or bored, and I guess we are not alone! By the way, your older daughter is so pretty, and you have cute baby too!!! Oh ya-- I love taking walks with Chase- he likes it too!
