12 WEEK SCAN

10 years since I had my daughter...I have been 'broody' for a year or so and could hear my biological clock tick. Nothing seemed to matter as much as planning for our 2nd child.

I am constantly trying to hide the fact that I am a nervous wreck, worrying if everything is ok. It must be because of my age and how much I want it this time. Children are so precious.

Hi Nina,

My little boy is going to be 3 weeks old tomorrow and i spent most of the first 2 weeks feeling like i was going to cry. Things have started to get a lot better in the last week, i have been told by my doctor that this is very normal in the first 2 to 3 weeks. I had to have a c section and i did not realise how hard this was going to be. Hope this helps.

Hi Nina - Beautiful is right! Your little one is just gorgeous. I still can't quite comprehend that my Zack is the same miraculous being that I carried inside me for nine months... it seems to have gone so quickly now.

These past 2 weeks have been both amazing and difficult - I didn't realize how much the c-section would take out of me. I'm quite weepy and very tired. It's all so very worth it, though - I wouldn't change it for the world. How have you been managing? Thanks for the note - it's wonderful to hear from you!

yeah it really is sad, I Just cant belive that big day is over, i think for me though, i didnt have much excitement aroud me when he was born, a friend of the family acually died the same weekend he was born, so NOBODY came to visit me in the hospita, i didnt even have a baby shower, now i just found out in aobut 2 weeks they are going to threw me a shower, im hoping that cheers me up a bit :)

Thank you so much. I never thought that I could love someone more than my husband Patrick but when I held Drew in my arms for the first time, the feeling of so much love just over takes you. It's truly a blessing from God.

Well, baby Drew made his big debut on Monday and I can't seem to move fast enough on here adding all the fantastic details. Girl, he is so handsome! I thought that there was no love stronger than what I feel for my hubby but there is...........it's called being a MOMMY!
I am going to be working on my "new" page on here tonight so stay tuned.
