Tuesday, 19 August I remember the pictures you posted of your own "twin cousins" (which is exactly what we call ours)! Wasn't one of them one baby's head to the other one's feet? I think they might have been yours and we tried to duplicate that pose, but it didn't turn out as well.
My SIL and I split a 3-pack of pregnancy tests so we both found out we were pregnant the same day, our original due dates were a day apart, then we both had early ultrasounds that moved us back a week but still a day apart. We continued this neck and neck thing the whole pregnancy right through delivery - she was being discharged from the hospital as we were being admitted. That's when my hubby was able to see his niece for the first time, before my labor got too hard.
It would have been even more fun because my sister found out she was pregnant only a month or two after we did, but she had a miscarriage. :( We were excited imagining ALL those new babies at Christmastime, hopefully it will work out for her soon. OK, this was a mini-novel! Thanks for the comment! And, don't you go back to work soon? I hope that goes well for you, too! azmommytobe -
Monday, 18 August Thanks :) He was in a hugging kind of mood! venusenvy -
Monday, 18 August He will grow out of it and soon it will be a story you tell.
I was a full-time nanny to a baby with colic and it was nothing less than intense. It is so hard to stay grounded when they are clearly so distressed. In the end I had to wrap him tight and play 'Have I told you lately that I love you' - lucking Van Morrison's version and not Rod Stewart's - though neither are my fav. And he would eventually be soothed, poor little guy. Though one day, as if by magic, it just stopped!
I know what you mean by freezing them now. Just yesterday I realized that Callum will one day be a preteen - probably with bad haircut and an attitude to match. :) If I was going to freeze him, I'd have to wait a few more months when his is sleeping more! I'm beginning to look a mess! lilgracie -
Monday, 18 August Thanks! I was talking to him last night about how he has to change his travel schedule because in 3 weeks I have dress rehearsals every evening for a show I'm in. And he said "Well hopefully I'll have the new job by then" and I almost started crying with joy. embobower -
Monday, 18 August That pic of him on his boppy(?) is sooooo cute. AshleyD -

Monday, 18 August Oh you're a great photographer, your pics look professional, and your little boy is adorable, it melts my heart. I hate how they're growing up so quick, and I dropped my video camera at the zoo the other day and broke it and oh it just sux, these precious moments are getting away from me. I wanna keep them forever, I'm crying now because i wanna keep my babies as babies and it's going too fast, any way. you did great on the pics, get lots of them. I wanna freeze his precious little voice with his attempts to talk with me in time and stay here forever. It makes me so sad, because they make me so happy. I'm running on...
Beautiful boy! heidichristine -

Monday, 18 August Your baby looks wonderful!
Looks as though his adorable little self had a rough transition into this world and it seems as though he is now settling in. Happy to hear that your evenings are becoming increasingly peaceful. Long may it last!! lilgracie -
Sunday, 17 August actually when he first called her to tell her he wanted to stay she flipped out. A couple days later she called and told my husband that if he wasn't on a plan by August 1st she was going to call the cops. Eventually she calmed down. I don't think my husband realizes how difficult this is for me. When he's gone it's, obviously, just me. Then when he gets home for the weekend he wants to spend hours working on his truck in the garage and stuff so I'm still doing, like, 75% of the work for Gracie. This will be my first week alone with him since school started. And I'm starting back to two of my jobs this week. I'm kind of really stressed about it but I figure I just have to see how it all works out and pray that he gets the job back in Atlanta. HillaryB -

And girl I am right there with you, I am totally obsessed! I am gonna have to get another computer just to hold all my pics! Saturday, 16 August How is Michael doing? He looks so small in his pictures. He is so adorable though.Just wait 'till he starts crawling and other things. It makes you smile, but brings tears to your eyes at the same time. They grow up so fast. It's good, but my Joshua is my last one.He can hardly sit still enough to cuddle anymore. He explores everything. He even wiggles around when I nurse him! When he's sleeping I will just sit there and stare.I treasure every moment!! brandi0881 -
Saturday, 16 August I don't know if you have tried it or not but picnik.com is the coolest site for editing your pics! You can do black and white. sepia, make them cloudy looking and all kinds of stuff. It is sooo fun seeing all the different looks you can give your pics! heidichristine -
Saturday, 16 August thanks so much. tell me about the marker. never heard of it, but sounds like it would be good. my main worry with the laminate is that my cat will puke and i wont find it for 8 hours and it will soak into the wood and distort it. any thoughts on that? does your sis have pets? any issues? heidichristine -
Saturday, 16 August your baby is so freakin cute!! but i wanted to say thanks for your response and was wondering if you happened to know if it was pergo or cheaper laminate. im wondering if it makes a difference with the scratching on how nice of a laminate i get....thanks erica93 -
Saturday, 16 August I would rather her sleep in her crib, but it is on the second floor (our room is on the main floor) and right now that would be too hard for me to do. Plus I think my husband would not like the idea of bringing the made crib down the steps and into our room! Thanks for the suggestion though, he might eventually have to bring the crib down though because I want her in our room until she is at least one and by then she will really grow out of the playyard bassinet. Friday, 15 August yes it does taste like vinegar, probably the strongest vinegar you've ever had, and to me it tastes like it has a Jack Daniels aftertaste because it hasn't been distilled or filtered, it has to have the mother for it to have the health benefits, and it is recommended to mix it with a cup of water or honey and water, but I don't mix it, I just chase it with a full glass of water cuz to mix it just makes more of the nasty in my opinion, so I do it really quick and it's well worth it.
