Saturday, 26 July Hi, saw your comment on a 30 week old preemie. Mine was born at 30 weeks 10 years ago. Developmentally wise they said that however early he was is how you count. So if his due date was June 25, you start counting developmentally wise as 4 weeks old, instead of 2 1/2 months old.. Back then it was said to do this for 2 years as by then they are all caught up. Mine at one years old was deemed a newborn, meaning at 1 year he was not rolling, holding head, sitting, crawling, standing, talking (that is a longer story). By 2 years old he was walking (he did have therapies tho). Enjoy ur baby =) luvmy-buninoven -

Friday, 25 July OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THAT IS HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe how big that thing was!!!!!! It was like giving birth to a baby!!!!!! HOLY CRAP!!!!! You are going to be amazed when the swelling goes down-you are going to feel FABULOUS!!! I hope the staples coming out didn't hurt too much but from here on out you are going to feel better with each passing day!
I go for my ultrasound today and am anxious to see how everything looks and is healing on the inside! I'll let you know how it goes!
Keep up the great healing!!!
XOXOX

Thursday, 24 July what kind of gripe water do you use? I have been researching and what a selection to choose from! Your input is greatly appreciated. Thank you much. Have a good day. Niknaks -
Thursday, 24 July Heya! She weighs 9.25 pounds at the moment. She is supposed to weigh 10. Ugh it's not a lot that she is under the average, but I noticed that at 8 weeks she has to weigh 11 so I guess she might just always be a bit under from now on :( Yes I am breastfeeding! I also heard that the charts they use for weight gain are based on bottle fed babies... what a story! I really don't want to supplement her feeds with formula milk so I guess I'll have to wait till Tuesday and hear what the paediatrician says - and then I'll have to do what he says

Thursday, 24 July I hope it goes as easily for me! I also don’t put Shay down until she is completely asleep, although it usually only takes me 20 mins, but I plan to start putting her in her crib sleepy but awake August 1st. I chose to follow the theory that you can not spoil a newborn and did what was most comforting for her. And, I do admit, I love to watch her fall asleep in my arms. But after 3 months I feel it is time she learns to fall asleep on her own. I am expecting the worst but hoping for the best. I do hope I am imagining it to be worse than it will be. How is your baby for nap time? Do you also have to put him to sleep or does he sleep on his own? I must also put Shay down for naps, but if I catch that sleepy window spot on it only takes 5 mins, other times it is still 15-20 mins. Melanie Rae -
Thursday, 24 July lol.. they definitely are.. already not listening to what he's told to do.. my grandmother whose 91 yrs old just called and asked "is it a crack or what?" lol... she is so funny! Melanie Rae -
Thursday, 24 July lol..I have a good friend who has a set of twin girls. They are truly a blessing. My boys definitely want a brother. I had a ultrasound today to find out the sex of the baby and the little rascal kept his legs closed the entire time.. my b/f said thats a "good girl" lol... a few times the baby had his hand between its legs so then again I figured that must be a boy since he's playing with it. I go back in 3 wks for another look so hopefully we'll know then. bellakimmie -
Thursday, 24 July Well that's good to hear, do you think they'll change their sleep pattern on their own, or do we do something??? I forget, my oldest is 8. :( knockoutmom -
Wednesday, 23 July yea if he seems to be gaining enough i wouldnt worry at all. those pics you posted the other day with his cousin were adorable!!! Boopy -
Wednesday, 23 July Thanks...maybe I will look into it....or see what my drs plan of action is when we tell him or her that we plan to have another. My concern is that I will just grow more. I grew ones during pregnancy that I didn't even have before i got pregnant.
Right now...I'm not sure I even want another as I'm so tired and my baby likes to be up all night. LOL
I'm so glad that you got that thing out. It probably could have made you very ill!!! Thank God it's not there anymore. knockoutmom -
