Saturday, 12 July Wow, we are pretty close. I grew up about 15 minutes from West Chester University. I go to grad school at Millersville which isn't extremely far from you either. Have fun with your new baby :) Maddux -
Saturday, 12 July Hey, I was just skimming over the two month posts (I am from month 3) and saw you are a teacher and live in PA....I teach in PA as well and was just curious if we lived near each other. I live in Lancaster County which is known for its large Amish population. preciousangels2 -
Saturday, 12 July I guess one person can only handle so much! What I need is a break from my 3yr old. The baby is fine, I can handle that easily. My MIL will be taking Malachi for 5 days or so sometime before the month is up. I just wish it was now! Today is a great day! LOL I'm going to drive and meet her half way and she'll take him off my hands for a few days! I just can't wait for that day. I need it now. I need to look in to preschools/head start for him so that next year he can go there. I can't believe that in 2yrs he'll be in kindergarten. Anyway, the thing that really gets me is that nothing I do gets acknowledged. Just a little bit of appreciation can go a long way. mati -
Friday, 11 July Haven't talked to doc yet about removal. I will see her in 2 wks. She refused to talk about it (jokingly), because she said I need to focus on the baby and healing for now. I will see her and the conv should start this month. I don't think I can have a removal until later this spring, because of school. I am going back at the end of September and I will prob take the last 4 wks off to have the surgery at the end of the year. We'll see!Hope baby is well.... Utopianite -
Friday, 11 July As far as the 1-year-old goes, he's gone back to being nice to the baby. And when the baby is asleep, I put him in the bassinet in my bedroom and play with the other kids in the living room. And having 4 kids isn't as bad as you would think. It's like, you have a routine set with the kids that are already here, and when you add another one, you just have to incorporate that one's schedule into what you're already doing. And then as the baby gets older, its schedule is more in tune with the other kids, and it makes everything easier. In fact, once you have more than one child, they start to entertain each other and it frees up a little of your time, so it's almost easier in some ways, to have more than one (when they're a little older anyway.) Well, I'm off to take the kids swimming. Hope you're doing well! preciousangels2 -
Friday, 11 July Yup, Cayden was due June 13th and was born June 10th. My cousins just had his first baby July 3rd, just minutes before midnight. Almost a 4th of July baby! I'm excited for then but July 3rd was the due date for one of the miscarriages I had. But, if that hadn't happened, I wouldn't have my sweet Cayden!! I do wonder all the time if one those m/c had been my little girl but I'm okay with it now. Still wonder about the could have beens. Cayden is sort of like my miracle baby. In some sense at least. Wow! I bet he will be tall! I'm only 5'5 and my hubby is 5'10 so we aren't very tall. Although Malachi is tall for his age, I'm sure he won't be that tall when he's older. But you never know. Malachi also has blue eyes and both Chris and I had brown eyes, both my parents have brown eyes and Chris' Dad has brown eye. The only one with blue eyes is Chris' Mom. Haha, I'm babbling. I tend to that a lot when I have to clean and really don't want to! preciousangels2 -
Friday, 11 July Aw, thanks! I took that a couple days ago. I can't believe how fast they are growing! One of my friends had a preemie, although he wasn't as early as Michael he was still only about 4lbs. I think that he was 7wks early but I'm not too sure. But he's almost 3yrs old now! He did have a lot of problems though, had to go to tons of therapy and stuff but he's great now! I remember she would always get mad because they'd be out shopping and people would ask how old he is and she'd tell him how old, but from when he was born, not how old he should be and they'd always say ohh, he's soooo small. He is still really small but both of his parents are really small too so I'm sure that has something to do with it! That's awesome that he's doing the same things Cayden is doing. How old should he be right now? About a month? I remember you were due somewhere around the same time as me. I'm just so happy for you that he's doing so great! Must be a relief to know that he's doing the same things other kids his age are doing. Grace -
Friday, 11 July I can't stand Luvs, from the first time I tried them, I hated it. THEY DO LEAK!!! they aren't very absorbent and they will fill up fast, they aren't stretchy enough, they're made kinda like pampers now, with the stretchy tabs and no stretch back, but I think luvs and pampers are SORRY. I love Huggies Supreme, they are made to fit the baby, have stretchy backs and tabs, and are SUPER absorbent. They hold a lot more than any other brand I've seen and keep baby dry. I use white cloud on my daughter because I'm trying to get her out of diapers, they leak if they get too full but they get the job done, I don't think i've ever had a problem out of them other than just busting from some crazy juice guzzlers. But they're like $6 a pack and they work great. preciousangels2 -

Thursday, 10 July I've checked that, they needed to be adjusted up into the next higher notch, it still didn't work. I don't know.... crazyeights -
Thursday, 10 July Thank you so much. Your prayers would mean a lot. Your little guy is just adorable. How fun for you and your sis!! God Bless jcody777 -
Thursday, 10 July My friend just had the surgery, but her fibroids were HUGE, and she has never had a c-section. Hopefully for your sake it is not like a csection.
When you have your 2nd are you going to have a csection? I think I am going to. I know what to expect now, and it didn't bother me to badly. onelove -
Wednesday, 9 July Hey Noreen,
First off you are so welcome!!!I hope I didn't overload with you all of my advice! It's nice to have someone to talk to who knows what you're going through and it's been great getting to share with eachother. I can't wait to hear how great you are feeling!!! I'm so excited for you!! That's great that you have family and of course your husband to help out. I sent Gage to my Mom and MIL's houses during the day and it was nice just to be by myself and really relax-that's great that you'll be able to do that too. WHAT DAY IS YOUR SURGERY?????????????????? Make sure you update me as soon as you feel up to it!!!!!
AWWWWW Michael is doing GREAT! I know you are happy! I'm telling you it doesn't take long for them to catch up!!!! When he starts smiling you will be in heaven-it's an amazing sight to see.
I'll be (GULPS) 31 next month. I'm getting old too. Dean will be 36 in November so we are really getting up there LOL!!!!! I'm not ready for another one and probably won't be for a few more years. I LOVE SLEEP TOO MUCH!!!!
XOXOX

Wednesday, 9 July Thank you very much!! Still have a lot of toning to do to be back to normal though. That's the hardest part!! :0( I hate to work out!! jcody777 -
Wednesday, 9 July Thank you!! We got so many cute outfits that I don't want to waste them. My mother in law bought him like 3 4th of July outfits, and all the outfits that I have from the shower. I just love dressing him up. I hate undressing him to change his diaper, but the outfits are too cute!!
Good luck with your surgery, I heard it is like having a c-section is that true?? knockoutmom -
Wednesday, 9 July oddly enough i never thought of feeding her in her carseat! haha, that makes it seem a lot easier. i'll just be happy when the car ride is over. thanks!!! :D Utopianite -
Wednesday, 9 July The 7 and 3-year-old fight over who gets to give him a pacifier or who gets to hold him. The 1-year-old might possibly be a little jealous. The first month he was fine with having a baby around, but then the last 3 weeks he's been taking away the baby's pacifier and hitting at him. He's not doing it to be mean; I think he's just facinated at the fact that he can make the baby cry. But I can't leave the baby alone with any of them, so I have to put the baby in my room and close the door any time that I need to do clothes or wash dishes. It ties me down just a little. So I think that things will be easier when the baby isn't so fragile and can interact with the older children. My husband doesn't even feel comfortable with changing the baby or holding him very often because he's so much smaller than the other babies were. It's nice to know that I'm not the only one who still has to get up a couple of times a night to feed their baby. :-) Oh, I saw the new picture of Michael on the boppy pillow. He looks adorable! Mine can't quite hold his head up that high. :-) Utopianite -
Wednesday, 9 July Hey! I just wondered how you and Michael were doing. My son is almost 7 weeks old, and still not sleeping through the night. I'm still breastfeeding him, but he wouldn't seem to fill up today, so I gave him some rice cereal and it seemed to satisfy him. In fact, he's been asleep for 4 hours now. I hope that you're doing well! ladobruk -
Wednesday, 9 July Wow, I won't complain then. I thought mine was large at 7 cm!!! :) No, I can't feel it from the outside. jcody777 -

Tuesday, 8 July ill have to try that! the tylenol thing, too. im so worried about how its gonna go. cause i know we'll have a few feedings in there and im not sure how im gonna pull them off. especially because i pump, too! i really am afraid to take her out of her carseat while the car is in motion and do it in the back. it sounds the easiest but i dont want to endanger her. i just hate thinking that we'll have to stop for 30 minutes every 3-4 hours at a rest stop! im sure it will work out though. thanks for the advice!! onelove -
Tuesday, 8 July You have a great attitude! Just keep staying positive! There might be a moment where you're in pain and you start to think what have I done but just keep telling yourself that a couple weeks you will be a NEW WOMAN. I stayed one night too and the first night I was very nauseous and in ALOT of pain and I wanted to get up but I had a catherter and couldn't. The first week was the worst but by the second week I was up and moving! My Fibroid weighed almost 2 pounds. You will have alot of swelling but don't freak out it goes away fast. I have lost 5 pounds since the surgery. I feel way more energetic!!!!!! That's the first thing I noticed!!!!! Just make sure you walk a little each day. The longer you sit or lay down the harder it is when you do get up. I would sit up for an hour then go to the bathroom and lay down for an hour and I just kept doing that over and over. The morning when I woke up was the hardest and it took me a while to get up and get to the bathroom but I was able to do it by myself. Everyone kept wanting to help but honestly I had to do it my own cause no matter how you move you're bending your belly and it's uncomfortable-JUST TAKE YOUR TIME!!!!! The other thing that I've noticed is Aunt Flow didn't kick my butt as bad this time. I'm usually in so much pain and it's very heavy but not this time-WOOO HOOO. The Dr. said I would bleed off and on for 6 weeks but I barely bled at all. I took a couple pads with me to the hospital and when I left I got home (hour long drive-WATCH FOR BUMPS-THEY SUCK) anywho when I got home I went to the bathroom and didn't even need it. I still wore one all the time to be careful but like I said what bleeding I did have was very light.
Gage is doing great! He's getting to be a little butterball. He has caught up on his weight and is now 18.11-BIG BOY! He'll be 10 months old on the 14th and I can hardly believe how fast the time is flying by!!!! He is kind of crawling and is starting to really love eating his fruits and veggies. He loves the beechnut sweet potatos and chicken dinner and the apples and blueberries for desert. I gave him a couple gerber puffs the other night and he was making the funniest faces. I broke them in half and he did really well. I tried them with him a month ago and he got choked-poor guy, but I'm thinking he's ready now. I'm gradually introducing things to him-I don't want to overload him.
How's Michael doing? Don't you just love being a Mama? I think if we have anymore it will be in 2 or 3 years. Give your sweet boy a BIG hug from me. How old is he and much does he weigh now?
