Awe so cute! Jamison got his shots on Monday and he still isn't himself. He is a grouch. He didn't throw up or anything but Monday he slept all day, Tuesday he wouldn't sleep unless snuggled up to me and today was the same although I tried to get some things done around the house so I didn't snuggle him as much as I should. Now at the end of the day I am feeling bad. knockoutmom -

Wednesday, 11 June Aww! Thanks so much! How is Michael doing? he's sure getting big! Ya, I'm totally miserable, and just praying that my water breaks...I've never felt so angry at the world before. I know they're not really doing anything...but it's just these darned hormones. Hope to hear from you soon. Utopianite -
Wednesday, 11 June Not feeling too great. I don't want to go running back to my doctor, but... seems like all I do is sleep, and I'm still tired and terribly moody. I get irritated with my other 3 kids and my husband way too easily. With my last son, who was a few weeks early too, I had to give him Enfamil AR. I tried breastfeeding him, and couldn't make enough to keep him happy. So I tried regular formula, and he would throw the entire bottle back up. The AR made him put on weight really fast, but he only had little spit-ups with it. With my new baby, I've been breastfeeding for almost 3 weeks now, and he keeps everything down really well, but I don't think he's eating very much at a time. At his 2 week checkup, he was only 1 oz over his birth weight. He's still in newborn diapers. I guess he's getting enough to eat. He just doesn't want to stay awake long enough to feed for more than 7 or 8 minutes at a time. I guess he just wasn't meant to be as fat as my others. Does your little boy fall asleep every time you feed him? Utopianite -
Wednesday, 11 June Hi! I hope you and Michael are doing well! He sounds like he's already about 1 lb bigger than mine. I have trouble keeping him awake during his feedings though. Is yours getting all formula now, or are you still trying to breastfeed some of the time? niseybear -

Monday, 9 June Hi,
I am guessing you live in the US?
I live in Birmingham, England.
I finish work around my 36 weeks into pregnancy. That's on the 18th July. My baby is due on 23rd August. ROLL ON THE WEEKS! I would love to work right up but I feel so heavy that I walk real slow. Feel embarassed sometimes but I shouldn't! That's pregnancy for you.
I used to come to work on the bus which only take about 5 minutes but even walking to the bus stop from where I live (and that's about 3 minute walk) can be a struggle. Its like I am breathless by the time I get there. Think its also a psyhcological thing. So now my boyfriend takes me into work at 7 even thought I don't start till 9 and I leave at 3 (normally work till 5) but I get so tired by 3pm.
So how many weeks are you and what do you do?

Sunday, 8 June Aw. I just read your birth story and I was kind of in the same situation with the bleeding and cramping which is what put me in labor, but was hurting the baby. A c-section is so hard to recover from! I know im suppoosed to relax but its so hard. Thanks for the advice! Its much more helpful than doctors and nurses who just give you over-the-top guide lines followed by worst case scenarios. Grr. Good luck with you and your precious baby boy. :c) mplsmama -
Sunday, 8 June Hi there, I'm definitely enjoying being a mom, but I can also definitely relate to being overwhelmed at times. I had a couple of meltdowns yesterday and today. I'm having a little trouble breastfeeding and it's really starting to get to me. I was starting to feel like all I do is feed her, which is not something she's enjoying right now, and then my husband and the other relatives get to have all of the fun w/ her... then they hand her back to me to be fed. Aaarrgh! I'm also anxious to get on more of a schedule so that I can predict how my sleep routine will go, etc.
I'm glad to hear you felt a lot better by 5 wks. It's been 8 days since I've had her, and I feel like I take one step forward, 2 steps back... I felt better today so we went out to breakfast w/ her, and now I'm paying for it. Sigh. Whaddya do? I guess I have to learn to take it easy so that I can heal. It's hard to take care of your own needs when you have this new little life though! mati -
Sunday, 8 June Congrats to your siter. What did she have? I CAN'T wait to find out what the sex of the baby is...and I guess I won't have to in a few weeks. I have Braxton Hicks a lot, but besides that...all I have is swolen feet. I wonder when the baby will make it's appearance. I feel like next week is a possibility.
