Oct 18 - I'm a little skeptical to write now because my whole page was deleted. But I would like to share that my midwife says she thinks it's a BOY! That will be confirmed on Tues 10-23 by the u/s tech. I can't wait to see if she was right. I'll keep you informed.

Oct 23 - Well, she was right! I just found out that we are indeed having a little boy! I'm at work right now but I'm so excited that I can't concentrate on anything. My mind is just fixated on this little miracle growing inside of me right now. I'll make sure to post some pics of the u/s as soon as I get a chance. Until then...

Nov 2 - Everything is still going good. I have no complaints. So far my pregnancy has been uneventful. Not that I'm complaining. I feel very blessed to have become pregnant so quickly and to be having a rather smooth pregnancy. The hubby and I plan to organize closet space and the nursery this weekend. I hope we get a lot done. I will share pics upon completion. Last night at 7:52pm my husband felt the baby kick for the FIRST time! Whoo-hoo! I mean our little guy has been active since week 15 but every time Burney put his hand on my stomach he would stop in his tracks. You should've heard me last night trying to coax the baby to move for daddy. Maybe this is a good sign that he will listen to mommy outside of the womb! :o)

Dec 6 - I'm going for my 2nd 3D/4D ultrasound today. The baby didn't quite cooperate the last time so the pictures were just so-so. He was snuggled against my placenta like a pillow. I guess that's his comfort zone. I'm hoping to get better pics today. If so, I will make sure to post them up here. I hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season. This is my favorite time of year. I can't wait to share this experience with my little boo-boo next year!

Feb 25 - I guess it's about time I updated this page, but there's not much to say. I'm still with child. He must be extremely comfy in there. Other than that, I've had 2 baby showers (I would post pics, but I look like a fat cow in most of my pictures nowadays!) His nursery is more than ready for him. At my last 2 doctor's appts, I was only a fingertip dialated and still thick. She wanted to strip my membranes today (Monday) but I was like "Uh uh! I'm 39 weeks and doing fine. Let's talk about induction when I'm 40 weeks." So my next appt is on Feb 28 (Thurs). I'm hoping there's some change. I've been trying to walk a little more and I'm still trying to convince the hubby to give me some extra luvin'. He doesn't really have a problem with it, but he wants our baby born in March so he doesn't want to really rush it right now. Go figure. Who would've thought I'd be having strategic sex. HA! HA! Well, I'll let you all know how it goes after Thursday. Who knows, maybe baby T.J. will be right on time!

Mar 3 - Well, today I'm schedule to go to the hospital at 4pm so the induction (read: eviction) process can begin! Everyone seems so excited but I'm more nervous than anything right now. I don't really know what to expect. My dr explained the whole procedure to me and it's pretty easy to digest. After I'm admitted they will insert a small pill (Cervidil) into my vagina to help ripen my cervix. As of right now I'm only 30% effaced. They will remove the pill after 12 hours and then start me on Pitocin within the next hour. They will then break my water if need be a few hours after that. It all seems to be happening so fast. Just this morning I felt like I had all the time in the world, but now I feel so rushed. They say it's all worth it in the end when you're holding your child in your arms. I hope it's true. Please keep in me and Taylor in your prayers!

Mar 4 - Well after all that I had Taylor via C-section today. I must admit I was GREATLY disappointed but there was nothing I do. He is the sweetest little thing. All he does is eat, sleep and poop. I love him dearly!

Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Sx

omg...how sweet...how are you feeling? Your labour experience...were you in a lot of pain? That is crazy that the hormones didn't really do anything...you are a strong woman! Are you healing ok? I can't imagine doing all this baby stuff with tummy stitches. Is DH staying home with you? For how long? How long are you off work?

butterblocksmom - Wednesday, 5 Mar
Hello all...had my beautiful baby Jackson (JJ) Lawrence at 3:04 a.m. on March 5, 4 days overdue. Have not really slept yet, but am so in love. Did labour WITHOUT and drugs (Sterling would be so proud of me) and I can honestly say while it was challenging and difficult at the time, I am so glad I did it that way. I did acupunture the day before and had my membranes swept the day of labour starting. It seemed to work. I am so in love...will update you all later!!!! xoxo Karyn

armarrie - Thursday, 28 Feb
yeah I thought I was the only one who was praying that I have a beautiful baby. I dont see any reason why I shouldnt have one but im still praying for a handsome son.

butterblocksmom - Wednesday, 27 Feb
Is bub giving you massive cramps/contractions at night that is waking you up? Are they making you feel nauseous, like vomiting? Sadly the cramps go away after I start moving around but the nausea stays. Doctor didn't seem too concerned....just curious if this is what some women go through hours before labour...

LesleyLDN - Wednesday, 27 Feb
Nice! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that something happens on it's own before they manage to do that!!!

AmberP2 - Tuesday, 26 Feb
Thank you! You got three days or so left enjoy the time while it lasts, sleeping threw the night is soon to be over lol. And its weird not being preggo lol. Good luck I hope your Labor goes good when it happens.

butterblocksmom - Tuesday, 26 Feb
This is hell...I am actually looking forward to labour at this point!!

LesleyLDN - Tuesday, 26 Feb
It's frustrating eh?! We wait so long to meet them, get excited, think everything will go to plan them surprise, no no no, you have to wait longer, see what happens, hope for the best and end up totally frustrated.
I'd be happy to wait an extra 2 weeks if she was engaging. The fact that she isn't bugs me no end. Still if my pelvis is just too small for this big baby then i'll deal with it - next week will be it for me either way, hopefully. The daft thing is that everything poeple suggest to get things moving like eating spicy food and sex won't make a blind bit of difference for me...hahaha, doesn't mean i shouldn't bother though. So what are the docs saying is the plan for you?

nellybelly - Tuesday, 26 Feb
Hi Noatay -Yes, I'm a little nervous about the induction. I hear that induced labors are more painful, and that's not good news since I'm going to try my best to go natural. Congrats on your little boy! Not sure which SFla hospital you're planning on having your baby, but if you do go into labor on the 29th and you're at Coral Springs MC, then maybe we'll bump into eachother there! I'm glad to see that you've had no glitches with your pregnancy! I had a low lying placenta (which has now moved up), as well as gestational diabetes. The diabetes is the reason my doctor doesn't want the pregnancy to go one day past 40 weeks. I wish you the best and lots of happiness with your first born son! By the way, are you okay about having a leap year baby? Everyone I talk to thinks it's a horrible day to be born, but I think it's special and unique!

butterblocksmom - Monday, 25 Feb
I think they are waiting for Spring...LOL!!! See, it's ironic, I am early for EVERYthing and DH is last minute. Ergo, baby (because he already takes after his dummyhead father) will be late. So ironic. At least I'm looking forward to seeing baby! :)

butterblocksmom - Monday, 25 Feb
I think I'll go past....you? I can understand if he is scared or nervous, but when I ask him and give him the opportunity to open up and he acts like a jerk....I don't know. Stupid dummy head!!! I know he feels bad because although he hasn't apologized, he was cleaning up all weekend, chagined the cat litter and moved things around in the garage to make it easier for me to park. That is his way of saying sorry, but sometimes it just isn't enough. I think I am grouchy!!!

olga777 - Friday, 22 Feb
This is a general message to everyone who left a comment on my VIP page: I thought I would let you know that I have just posted a very detailed birth story on my VIP page. You can read it under 'olga83's children' in the top menu on my page. Good luck :) P.S. Thank you for your comment and congratulations :) I am sorry I cannot reply to everyone because with the new baby in the house I really have no time to log in long enough to reply to everyone :) Please let me know when you give birth by sending me private message. I would love to hear your story and see the pictures!!!

dolphinloves4 - Tuesday, 19 Feb
Good luck at your appointment too ^^ Hopefully you've made more progress than I have lol It seems that time is holding still for me :/

nichola - Tuesday, 19 Feb
Congrats on your pregnancy. your almost done.

olga777 - Friday, 15 Feb
Hey! Well, I don't know. At this point I just hope she will decide to come out on her own before week 41 because I don't want to be induced. I have some favorite dates (numbers) of course like 15, 17, 21. I like 29 too because it will be a very special birthday :) I like 1 and 3 of March too. Good luck!

butterblocksmom - Thursday, 3 Jan
I am SO impressed! If a man finds us sexy in this state...he's a keeper!!! I squeezed into my pre-pregnancy jeans the other day (done up and everything...under the big belly!) and showed my finacee. As I was walking away he made a comment how it looked like 'two pigs wrestling in a gunny sack' He thought he was being funny...I just thought he was being an ass!!
