Hey, nothing here yet!

I am almost 7 weeks pregnant with Baby number 5. I'm excited, overwhelmed, nauseous, very tired. Anybody want me to share my experiences, joys, I will tell you whatever you want to know from what I've been through. childbirth has overall been a very blessed experience....children are a gift from the Lord. If any of you are scared or just want some encouragement, read from the Bible Psalm 139. My kids memorized it 2 years ago-tells us how much God loves us and our babies. If you don't have a relationship with Him, it makes parenting, an already very difficult, overwhelming task, something to be done well, when we lean on Him, the Creator of all. Life can be very hard, but He is faithful to those who seek Him! We weren't really trying hard, contemplating but thinking we were "done". My now "baby" is 4. Here we go again. My husband was in ER Thanksgiving morning-lightheaded, chest and arm tingling, pass out hit his head and ribs on the floor and been having episodes for a week. A bit better now...but docs are doing all they can to check out his heart, head, thyroid-we're chocking it all up as stress (poor guy work is so crazy hard and then I give him that positive preg test) and possible reaction to flu shot-reactions began an hour after. GOD HAS BEEN FAITHFUL. My new Ob has been so kind-has done 2 ultrasounds...saw Baby's heartbeat on Monday-says with my age and health this lowers risk of miscarriage to 3%...somewhat comforting. I can't stop sleeping and feeling nausous, though. DOLE'S strawberry fruit bars-yum! and anything lemon-limey, or orange.

Dec.5....Boy the nausea is not fun but Unisom helping. SOoooooooo sleepy. I am soooooooo thankful because CHILDREN ARE A GIFT OF GOD! I can't wait till my next appt. next Wed.!

Dec. 30...Was feeling better overall and last 48 hours the nausea has been back 24/7. Mid of night is worse-had to eat at midnight last night. I'm so hopeful for things to get better soon and I can almost touch 2nd trimester. Am really liking lemonade now. I'm so thankful for this holiday break!! Seems like forever till the 11th for my next u/s and appt. I feel kind of silly but I'm totally in maternity clothes now!

Jan. 14...am still battling nausea at random times of days. 3-5 AM this morning was rough...overall a bit more energy to function around here-just having to eat cheeseburgers and ice cream way too much (only things that really satisfy me for a long time, between apples, pineapple, bagels, etc). Round ligament pain seems worse this time than others. I hope that's all it is-lower right side jabbing pains. The Lord is good to me. Please, I ask Him, allow the nausea to say bye bye for good.

Feb.1 still some nausea here and there...been feeling baby since week 12 or 13...doc said not out of question for 5th baby. I'm feeling him/her most days now. MUCH BETTER overall-very thankful for that!! We may find out the gender on the 8th! God is so very kind!

Feb. 8 We're having a boy! My oldest child and only son who will be 10 years older, is very excited. I've been having a hard time sleeping b/c I'm looking at baby bedding online, etc. (:

Mod Turtle Musical Mobile

Anyone want to give me ideas on color for room-something that might work ok if we have to change it to a girl room a year later-light blue, yellow? I don't know....also WHICH MOBILE DO YOU LIKE BETTER TO GO WITH BEDDING?

*Okay so I don't know why this won't copy and paste the bedding but it's at potterybarn kids and it's navy, blue, and white striped-maybe called KASEY (?)

Thanks...almost 18 weeks tomorrow!!

April 11....I am excited because my baby shower is a week from MOnday. I might get to see a lot of friends with whom I grew up and have talked to but not seen in a while. My husband was a part of a huge lay off at work so while that's stressful, The Lord is giving his "peace that passes understanding." I know He is going to take care of us. Hubby is home working on finding a job but when he has spare moments he is getting the baby's room ready. I'm thrilled.
A bit of nausea trying to come back on, back is not happy (hips and rear-normal stuff for me -have to do PT exercies), very hungry and tired (anemia still?) BUT I SERVE AN AWESOME GOD WHO CREATED THIS baby boy, and I am so thankful for his kicks and squirms, yes even in my hip bone. (:

Thank you. :o)

As for movement, it would be okay if it was for a day, but it's been days for me. I feel pressure, not that tapping feeling i felt last week. i'm nervous because i was really sick with fever, bronchitis, ear infection and sinus infection. I just pray that the sickness and the antibiotic have not caused any harm. Congrats on all your children!!!!

I have a glitter on my page...it's my due date right at the bottom. I need to tweek my page so that it shows up better...I made it in a color that is too close to the background I picked. Blinkies are the little bar looking things that have little messages on them.

stphnhuerta - Saturday, 16 Feb
is that what it is. It suddenly just started.

kayasmommy - Saturday, 16 Feb
Thanks for the support. It is so hard when that food is around tempting you.

She was my first. I am now pg with #2. I was exactly 38 weeks and I was induced because I had gestational diabetes. For two days she wasn't really moving around so the doc. did a non-stess test and u/s. All was well with baby but she didn't like the fact that both times on the non-stress test she never moved. Since she was already 8+lbs she thought it would be best to get her out a little early.

My daughter was very lively and healthy immediately when born. I'm really happy my doc. made the decision to induce a little early!

hi noodle, weve chatted afew times, ive moved onto week 18 2 days ago.......but for your mobile i choose the brown and blue one.

Vikki - Saturday, 16 Feb
Hi there, Thanks for 'Stopping by'. I guess I'm only about 5 weeks tops. It's VERY early! But we need to keep on top of things right from the start if my Progesterone is not going to behave. I'll have to go on progesterone if that's the case. If I end up feeling like my indside are trying to escape with pucking so much, well that means EVEYTHINGS GOOD! I get very sick if my progeterone is at the right levels. So I thank God if I have to spend alot of time in the smallest room of the house because then I know that the baby is safe! So I had a blood test yesturday to check my levels. Get the results on Monday morn' when I go in and see me Dr. I'll be jumping up and soen to get a script for progesterone anyway to be sure. I don't know how I'd be if I lost another one.

Great to hear of another homeschooler! Fun isn't it?! I love it and so do the kids. After all, we are the first educaters of our children ( however I leave the SPELLING up to my husband LOL).

By the way, I like the turtles! the black and blue. I think that's quite stylish and you can add any colour you like with it. Chat soon :-)

mommi2b - Friday, 15 Feb
Your right - I just need to stop stressing about it. Thanks for your help!
U have a great weekend too! :)

clairek - Friday, 15 Feb
thats ok

mommi2b - Friday, 15 Feb
Yeah, I didn't even think about that. If we have a boy next...but both colors can also go w/ a boy too. I'm so bad w/ decisions like this! I get so stressed out!...so stupid! lol

shortiiee - Friday, 15 Feb
I like the colorful mobile. For the room since u want a neutral color, i would pick light green or yellow.
Im going to look for the pottery barn bedding to see it.

1ST-TIMER - Friday, 15 Feb
I personally like the colorful one best. It looks like you could use it if you were to have a girl in the future!! Let us know which one you have picked. I haven't shopped for my baby girl yet, but can't wait.

nimzm2b - Friday, 15 Feb
Hi congrats on the pregnancy.
Although the blue mobile might go better with the bedding i would choose the colourful one as it looks more fun for the baby. There is lots of different things on there and it's more colourful.

rhonnott - Friday, 15 Feb
I was 37 weeks.

bmhmama3 - Friday, 15 Feb
I've been blessed to be feeling so much better! We are doing good just having to make big decisions on a new house so pray for us there! It is going to be a bigger payment but we need the move very badly!! I will be continueing praying for you all and your hubby's job, I hope you have a wonderful time with date night tonight!!!

fisheagle74 - Friday, 15 Feb
noodle - I was induced with my daughter. They used cervidil (sp) twice. I started contracting immediately. Once things really got going they used pitocin. I did not experience bad things other than the contractions were coming REALLY fast ie. every 30 sec. to a min. After about 11 hours my water broke on its own and then my body REALLY took over the contractions (phew!!) I recieved an epi about 2 hours later and life was then wonderful.

So, all in all - yes painful but very manageable and I had a very normal (no drama) delivery. I say - don't be afraid. I heard horror stories about induction also but I had a great delivery.

nicole-noelle - Friday, 15 Feb
i say the turtles

hetibelle - Friday, 15 Feb
Thanks for the post..,..I've just stopped taking anything at all for the time being and am just relying on a sensible diet! I think that your body will naturally tell you what it needs to a certain extent....good luck to you with your fifth pregnancy! Heti

peaceful1013 - Friday, 15 Feb
I don't want to risk c-section either, however, I haven't had to worry about it before, but if it happens...not a big deal either. As long as the baby is healthy I don't care. I don't know what I am having. I find out on the 25th...10 days away. Not that I am counting...

clairek - Friday, 15 Feb
i would go with the more colourful 1
