Hey, nothing here yet!

I am almost 7 weeks pregnant with Baby number 5. I'm excited, overwhelmed, nauseous, very tired. Anybody want me to share my experiences, joys, I will tell you whatever you want to know from what I've been through. childbirth has overall been a very blessed experience....children are a gift from the Lord. If any of you are scared or just want some encouragement, read from the Bible Psalm 139. My kids memorized it 2 years ago-tells us how much God loves us and our babies. If you don't have a relationship with Him, it makes parenting, an already very difficult, overwhelming task, something to be done well, when we lean on Him, the Creator of all. Life can be very hard, but He is faithful to those who seek Him! We weren't really trying hard, contemplating but thinking we were "done". My now "baby" is 4. Here we go again. My husband was in ER Thanksgiving morning-lightheaded, chest and arm tingling, pass out hit his head and ribs on the floor and been having episodes for a week. A bit better now...but docs are doing all they can to check out his heart, head, thyroid-we're chocking it all up as stress (poor guy work is so crazy hard and then I give him that positive preg test) and possible reaction to flu shot-reactions began an hour after. GOD HAS BEEN FAITHFUL. My new Ob has been so kind-has done 2 ultrasounds...saw Baby's heartbeat on Monday-says with my age and health this lowers risk of miscarriage to 3%...somewhat comforting. I can't stop sleeping and feeling nausous, though. DOLE'S strawberry fruit bars-yum! and anything lemon-limey, or orange.

Dec.5....Boy the nausea is not fun but Unisom helping. SOoooooooo sleepy. I am soooooooo thankful because CHILDREN ARE A GIFT OF GOD! I can't wait till my next appt. next Wed.!

Dec. 30...Was feeling better overall and last 48 hours the nausea has been back 24/7. Mid of night is worse-had to eat at midnight last night. I'm so hopeful for things to get better soon and I can almost touch 2nd trimester. Am really liking lemonade now. I'm so thankful for this holiday break!! Seems like forever till the 11th for my next u/s and appt. I feel kind of silly but I'm totally in maternity clothes now!

Jan. 14...am still battling nausea at random times of days. 3-5 AM this morning was rough...overall a bit more energy to function around here-just having to eat cheeseburgers and ice cream way too much (only things that really satisfy me for a long time, between apples, pineapple, bagels, etc). Round ligament pain seems worse this time than others. I hope that's all it is-lower right side jabbing pains. The Lord is good to me. Please, I ask Him, allow the nausea to say bye bye for good.

Feb.1 still some nausea here and there...been feeling baby since week 12 or 13...doc said not out of question for 5th baby. I'm feeling him/her most days now. MUCH BETTER overall-very thankful for that!! We may find out the gender on the 8th! God is so very kind!

Feb. 8 We're having a boy! My oldest child and only son who will be 10 years older, is very excited. I've been having a hard time sleeping b/c I'm looking at baby bedding online, etc. (:

Mod Turtle Musical Mobile

Anyone want to give me ideas on color for room-something that might work ok if we have to change it to a girl room a year later-light blue, yellow? I don't know....also WHICH MOBILE DO YOU LIKE BETTER TO GO WITH BEDDING?

*Okay so I don't know why this won't copy and paste the bedding but it's at potterybarn kids and it's navy, blue, and white striped-maybe called KASEY (?)

Thanks...almost 18 weeks tomorrow!!

April 11....I am excited because my baby shower is a week from MOnday. I might get to see a lot of friends with whom I grew up and have talked to but not seen in a while. My husband was a part of a huge lay off at work so while that's stressful, The Lord is giving his "peace that passes understanding." I know He is going to take care of us. Hubby is home working on finding a job but when he has spare moments he is getting the baby's room ready. I'm thrilled.
A bit of nausea trying to come back on, back is not happy (hips and rear-normal stuff for me -have to do PT exercies), very hungry and tired (anemia still?) BUT I SERVE AN AWESOME GOD WHO CREATED THIS baby boy, and I am so thankful for his kicks and squirms, yes even in my hip bone. (:

Nice to hear from another mum with a few kids. All the best with this one too.

bubblimummi - Friday, 9 May
hey thanks for the comment. I'm hoping it's the beginning of something! I really hope it's a sign that things aren't too far away. Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy.

Hi, it actually worked. If it was placebo or not I don't know but I felt a lot better after the witch hazel. Amazing!!
Will put that in the old wives tales book for sure.

CallMeMommy - Thursday, 8 May
Thanks I will definitely try that!!!

CallMeMommy - Thursday, 8 May
The headaches just won't go away!!! my doctor prescribed fioricet?? ever heard of it?? Anyway I don't know if I should take it, the doctor said the headaches may be hurting me more than the medicine would! (but that means the medicine would hurt me......) Whats hazel?

mariela14 - Thursday, 8 May
It doesn't seem like it can be a UTI because it just hurts really bad right where she put the swab up. It hurts like she's putting it up there again every time I pee. Any other ideas?

vanessag7 - Wednesday, 7 May
Thanks :) Anything is worth a try and it worked for you so might work for me too :D

catesgirlz - Wednesday, 7 May
I know there are so many factors that will affect our labours in the end. I have had really good labour but I never remember the pain, like people reckon you are meant to!! 2nd baby was only an hour and a half, and I think I drunk it with her - but I was a lot more active too! I was literally power walking my other little girl to nursery every day when I was overdue :) Thought no.3 would just slip righht out but she was about 5 hours. Just want to do whatever is going to make the whole experiance more bearable. It's def my last time and I want good memories...

catesgirlz - Wednesday, 7 May
You know anyone who's tried it? I got some this morn - so will prob just like have one cup a day for this week (week35) then up it a little more every week. Surely it can't be that dangerous?? Anything to make labour a bit easier has got to be worth a try!

Thanks, if it's still hurting tomorrow, I'm going to call my doctor. I didn't eat anything all day because it hurt and I just felt sick to my stomach. It got a little better after I ate something but it still hurts.
Thanks for the advise though.

jennba - Wednesday, 7 May
Thanks for the info. I'm gonna try it for my headaches...as weird as it sounds..lol. I'll do anything to get rid of them. Where can ya buy the witches stuff?

Thank you! I wasn't sure if it was really safe.. but I really need some sleep or I will be too worn out before our baby even gets here!! :) Thanks again

buddysmom - Sunday, 4 May
I have gained 50 lbs as well! My doctor isn't worried either. I have slowed it down a bit but my body just wants to gain since I have been pregnant. I already took my GD test and it was negative. The weight gain doesn't dictate if you have it or not. I wasn't anemic either. I was very tired a few weeks back but switched my prenatal vitamins and I have been feeling more energy. I am more achey than tired recently. Good luck on your husbands interview!

buddysmom - Sunday, 4 May
Congrats to you too! It must be so exciting setting up all your goodies from your shower. My baby shower isn't until May 31st but I can get the stuff I already have set up in the room in 2 weeks after the new carpet is in. I can't wait. I am nesting like crazy

Cryptic304 - Saturday, 3 May

When you see blood with it, would you have contractions regularly too?

RaynbowMami - Friday, 2 May
Ok your sister is trippin. LMAO why would she think you would be up for that?

raynbowmami - Friday, 2 May
Thanks hun, I really don't want to have the baby in NC but it wouldn't matter as long as she's healthy. I hate thinking about being in the car that long.
