Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

I ended up being induced on the 2nd, and had a c-sec on the 3rd. Been home 2 days now, and loving it.... I guess the next step is to go to the babies web site?!

well, I had spoke too soon... I lost my mucose plug shortly after, started to get contraction.. monday, I was 1 centimeter and 80% effaced..now I'm 3 and 90%...

jag - Wednesday, 30 July
Yep... still working here too... getting a little annoyed at co-workers every morning saying.... You're still here! Am over it already! Anyway, have decided in my head that I'll make it to my induction, and if she comes any earlier, It will be a bonus! Do you have an induction date yet... Just in case?

jag - Wednesday, 30 July
Oooh, I hope so.... Due date is tomorrow. No contractions just BH... have you had much?

babydust08 - Tuesday, 29 July
Unfortunatly we have to share our room with baby for a while. The two older kids have their own rooms, and my daughter will be sharing her room when baby gets older until we can buy a bigger house. We do have a crib and changing table it's done in the pop daisy set from babies r us. It's pink and brown. Sooooo cute!! I will let everyone know if she does come a little earlier than Friday. But I doubt she will come any earlier, I have a feeling she would hang out in mommy until the doc signs an eviction notice!!!! LOL!!!!

babydust08 - Tuesday, 29 July
I am soooooo anxious!!!! That is all I can think about!!!! I'm sure these next couple of days are going to DDDDDRRRRRAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGG!!!! Mine were srubborn too. I just kept dilating and no labor, so they have to induce me!!

dsmrwtnttn - Tuesday, 29 July
Last week I was only a fingertip dialated & 50% effaced. Been having more BH & had a few painful/real contractions Sunday morning, but that's it... I feel like she's never going to come out. :( Thursday's the official due date.

babydust08 - Tuesday, 29 July
I'm from 38 but i have my membrane sweep twice about two weeks ago and it hasn't done anything. I am also dilated to 4 and almost 100% effaced. It didn't hurt, just a little uncomfortable. I am however getting induced Friday, so I guess it doesn't matter if it works or not now!! :) Good luck to you, and hope you have better luck with the sweep than I did!!!

jag - Tuesday, 29 July
I've had it done twice already... and nothings happened. Going to have it done for the 3rd time this saturday, which will be 2 days after my due date

21yrmommy2be - Tuesday, 29 July
hmm... if ur wanting to know how the sweep feels, it was uncomfortable, but really didnt hurt... it felt similar to menstraul pressure to me... and, i do seem to be having some of the stronger braxton hicks and some cramping now, but i just got it done an hour ago, so, if im not rushing off to the hospital b4 i can get back on, ill let u know wat happens... the mid-wife seemed surprised at how well i took it tho, so it seems it usually hurts more than it did for me... all right, good luck

21yrmommy2be - Tuesday, 29 July
hey...thanks!! well, she said im 3 centimeters and still 80% effaced, but the baby has moved forward and down, she said her head is right there... i could deff. tell the diff. from the other exams... shes deff. further. also, she did the membrane sweep today, so im hoping something will come of it... they say if its gonna work it will work in 48 hours, so, just more waiting, but, hopefully it will help... after a month of false labors, ill just be happy to go into labor without medication, b.c ive been freaking out thinking ill never go into 'real' labor on my own... lots of baby dust to you too!!!! ************ and good luck at ur apt. thursday!!

tashaj1985 - Tuesday, 29 July
I got it done yesterday.. It may or may not work.. My midwife said there's no writen proof sayin this procedure work even if you go into labor with in 5 mins after.. It hurts so badly, but I have to expect pain when I'm in labor... So far, no signs of labor....

dsmrwtnttn - Tuesday, 29 July
The membrane sweep doesn't always work. Some women have it done several times & it just doesn't start labor. But for some women it will, and in general if it's going to work, it does it within 48 hours. I haven't had an actual sweep yet, but my doctor is giving me one on Thursday if I haven't gone as well. It hurts for some and for others it doesn't. Wish I could help you more on how it feels. Don't stress too much, though!

21yrmommy2be - Tuesday, 29 July
hey, i just saw ur comment on my babies photo... thanks!!! it looks like shes gonna look like a perfect mixture of mommy and daddy, just cant wait to see for sure!!!

Hey hun, I just read your comment on 35 weeks page, and my question to you is, have you been itchy anywere else too?? I'm itchy all over, and the top of my feet and ankles and my hands too. I mentioned something to my doctor and she wasnt worried about it. She said to take some benidryl?? What is the concern in your sitation I guess is what I'm really asking, so I can confront my doctor, and see why she wouldn't be worried. Do you have any bumps or anything, or just itchy? Please let me know, now I'm worring....lol thanks hun

I don't know about those little pains being Braxton Hicks?? For me it feels like my whole belly tightens up for like a minute. And it is kind of difficult to stand up straight. On the forum on this site this is how they describe them: "Braxton Hicks contractions aren't usually painful, just uncomfortable. It feels like a tightening of your belly in your lower abdomen and groin."

But everyone is different! Hope things are going great for you!
