Introducing........ Miss Olivia!!!
Since I really sucked at keeping a pregnancy journal on here and it was pretty much empty, I'm going to be adding her pictures all on this page, it's much easier to access.

Thanks for your reply. You sound like a great mom because you have an open mind. Read it and see what you think. It does work. It's mostly the time you feed them and the ORDER of feed, waketime then sleep that makes the difference. Also, a VERY important thing is to make sure your baby is getting a FULL feeding instead of little snacks. She will get the healthy hindmilk which is what will give her enough fat for her brain to develop properly and help her grow. Good luck and let me know how it goes! Take care. Susan

Awwww! I Olivia is so cute!!!! I didn't even look at the pictures on your page last time. We get Travis' pictures taken at JCPenney, not sure if you have those there though. They are only $3.99 for a sheet of pics, they take tons of different shots and you can change their clothes and backgrounds at least once.

my friend said to me my 3d scan pic looks like an alien
then sum1 else said oooh look it looks like its got horns
and then sum1 else said it was deformed n looked like the eleophant man. that was my ex boyfriends mother:( haha, however i dunno if thats worse than been told sum1s gonna steal my baby, did she look crazy? iof she did keep her AWAY from the babs lol xxxxx

Hi. After sending the last message, I read the whole review! I am now APPALLED! How can that woman say that Babywise recommends HITTING your child???? I can't believe people are allowed to outright lie about what is said in a book. The other reviews about Babywise that I read are all anti-Christian. The author of babywise states he is Christian so hate groups automatically assume it's a cult book! There are some weirdos out there. Anyway, now I feel bad that you have a bad opinion about the book and probably me. Oh well, I hope you get the opportunity to read it and see how great it is. And no, it's never almost been banned from bookstores. More hate propaganda. Thanks. susan

Hi. I got your message about the internet review on the book, "On Becoming Babywise". The problem with the internet is that sometimes information can be wrongly quoted, or misconstrued and people who read it believe it to be fact. I am a teacher and an early childhood educator. I research everything thoroughly before deciding what is right for my child. I'm really upset with the review I read. I have read the entire book "On Becoming Babywise" and they actually recommend exactly the opposite of what the review accused them of suggesting. Babywise is AGAINST rigid schedules. They also believe that instead of offering the breast every time your baby cries, that, you, the parent, can regulate your baby's eating patterns. I feed my son every 3ish hours, unless he's HUNGRY sooner. It's the same things adults do. You get used to eating breakfast, lunch and dinner and so you get hungry at that time. If you're hungry sooner, you eat.
The best thing I can suggest is to read something and make up your own mind. Almost every single thing you look up on the internet will have people criticizing it.
My doctor recommended Babywise and my boys are so healthy and happy. I've never left them to just "cry it out" or stick them in a playpen for hours during the day either and I'm so mad at the review I just read that I'll be contacting them about their misrepresentation about the most common sense approach to parenting I've come across.
I will continue to recommend this method as I know many other moms have had success using it as well.

hooray!! oh i'm so glad to hear you worked out a way to get her to take the bottle - so clever! I know what you mean about bf being hard to give up -- went back to work 3 weeks ago and now we're down to 1 maybe 2 bf sessions on weekdays day and I punp while @ work and mix it w/ formula. I do bf him on weekends tho and, it's strang but I sort of miss doing it full time! oh well, they're growing, these kids, and that's what you want. the jumperoo and bumbo are great -- he really enjoys sitting up like a big boy. and I took a look @ miss olivia's photos -- she is just beautiful :) that photo of her jumping in midair is fantastic!

wow, thats good to know. I do have endometriosis but nothin blocking the tubes. I will have to look into that. I work in health care and have awesome insurnce, but they dont pay for fetility treatments. So everything needs to come out of pocket unless we find some sort of funding.

OMG Good luck, this is so exciting. I too have been considering IVF, its so so expensive. I have been looking into this site called www.Free-IVF.com but dont know how reliable it is. I have been trying for 4 years and 2 failed IUI's with Clomid. Good luck and best wishes!
