Introducing........ Miss Olivia!!!

Since I really sucked at keeping a pregnancy journal on here and it was pretty much empty, I'm going to be adding her pictures all on this page, it's much easier to access.

You don't see me!

She's looking a bit uncomfy, but she loves her snuggles with daddy!

There will be drool....

My little Beethoven :o)

She won't take a paci..but she will suck on her empty vitamin bottle all day lol

Strike a pose...

C'mon vogue...

This is her "singing" at a couple months old

Her first day on the grass. We can't wait for summer!

Upclose. Pinchable cheeks

Sitting up all by herself! Just over 5 months old. I think the Bumbo really helped her learn.

Cute little squishy face!

Being silly in her swing

She's outgrown the Stage 1 in her jumperoo... time to raise it

Chubby cheek close up

Livi and daddy all ready to go for a walk. He loves this little Piglet suit! It has piglet feets too lol

"Being as cute as I can so someone will pick me up"

Sitting again.... that's all she wants to do now.

Very first time sitting all by herself in the big girl tub. She used to lay down on my bath pillow.

Caught in wild action! She's about a foot and a half off the floor! She really catches some air sometimes!

I have the rainforest highchair and it's definitely NOT dry clean only!! I usually just wipe it down with a sponge and it's fine! I love that chair...

Haha. I know what you mean. There are some nights I want to go in and grab Noah from his crib and bring him into our bed. And he has been in his own bed in his own room since 5 weeks. I think it's the mothering instinct. I want him with me all the time! Love 'em!

I HIGHLY recommend Healthy Sleep Habits Happy Child, by Marc Weisblooth. It worked wonders for us. Your little one is soooo cute!

i'm sure you'll work something out. so many people told me to get beckett used to a bottle before going back to work, I started feeding him a couple of times a day from a bottle. and having other people feed him, too. wait.. did I ask you already if she'll take a bottle from someone else, like your husband? you've probably already tried that. :) the bumbo came today!!! I put him in it immeidately and he was very relaxed just checking stuff out. SUPER cute. of course now he's napping and I want him up so I can put him in it, hahaha. what a dork!

hi! I was thinking about your daughter not liking formula, even mixed w/ breastmilk, and wondered if you've tried a couple of types of formula? i'm thinking you have but just wanted to get it out there. :)

I'm sorry you don't like my comments. I comment on things that interest me. If I see something that may not be true then I will comment on it. This is an open forum. That means we all comment and converse on different subjects. I've learned a lot from people here and I have gotten feedback that several women here have gotten a lot from me. People don't alway agree on open forums, that's life. If you don't like it then that's not my problem.

I hope it gets better for you. My daughter is breastfed also but she refuses to take a bottle of anything. I don't know how I will ever get her weaned when she is older. I wish you the best of luck!!

That's what I do as well. I try to feed her right before going anywhere. But sometimes she gets hungry while we're out, so I wind up nursing her in the car in an empty area of the parking lot. Sometimes it would be nice though, not to have to do that. My family is planning on a trip to an amusement park next month. Well, I'd love to go because my 3 1/2 yr old son would just love it. But, I'm worried about how to feed Lainey while we're there. Kind of difficult to get out to the car at a place like that. My step sister always used a sling carrier. She would have her kids in that while nursing in public, and you really couldn't tell. She gave it to me, but I can't figure out how to work it right! Each time I put Lainey in it, she cries. I also have a Moby wrap, and you're supposed to be able to use that also for decreet nursing. Haven't attempted it yet. We'll see. Hopefully I'll be comfortable with one of those things before going to the park.

oh boy, your neighbors are living in a dream world -- i'm afraid they won't come down to earth unless something serious happens. sadly typical of many dog owners -- they refuse to understand that the dog is an animal and needs discipline and limitations. and I say this as an utter dog lover. SO, good decision to fence in your property -- you're doing the dogs a favor, trust me. as for your cats, I would worry less about them -- even tho they're citified, cats are resourceful and smart and they're already learning quick escape techniques... they should be fine! good luck!!

I was told that if you are weaning to do it slowly. That will help with engorgment and it better for the baby. I read that if you cut her off cold turkey it can cause some emotional problems. Just start replacing one feeding a day with formula and gradually work up to all formula. I hope this helps and don't feel too bad about weaning. I wasn't able to nurse my first 2 children and they turned out just fine.

hi there - I saw your post about the growling dog in your village and just wanted to offer an opinion. the dog's owner said that the dog had never behaved that way before -- this is b/c the correct set of circumstances had not presented themselves. any dog is capable of territorial behavior and, given the right circumstances, will display that behavior. my advice would be to approach your neighbor at her house and, in as neutral tones as possible, explain that you'd like to keep her dog and your baby separated because of the growling -- leave the pooping and cat chasing out of it. tell her that you are asking this to keep both the dog and the baby safe. if she gets upset, camly tell her that you'd like her to think it over for a day or two and then excuse yourself. then approach her again and try discussing it once more.I imagine that your yard is not fenced, so I wondered if you could get a portable play yard to put your baby in while you are outside. I know this isn't 'fair' to your baby, but the most important thing is to keep your baby safe. that dog may never do anything beyond growling, but it's impossible to know that that is true. anyway, that's my two cents. hope all works out for you. :)

Thank you for the response. I was wondering if there was a growth spurt around 3 months. She really has been attatched to me all the time!!!

my3girls - Thursday, 17 April
I ended up with the HandyCam and absolutely love it. We bought our old one all the way back in the '90s lol. I am really not looking forward to the whole crawling thing. My older girls are 14 and 12. They're usually too busy for me. At least with the baby I always know where she is. And she doesn't get mad when I kiss her and squeeze her little cheeks.

my3girls - Thursday, 17 April
That's funny about the dog toy but makes perfect sense. I got Alexa a raspberry chewy thingy at WalMart. It looks like a bumpy pacifier. At first she was like what am I supposed to do with this? Cuz you can't really suck on it. But now she loves it
