Birth Story..

So i had my regular doctors app. on jan 15th.I was having contrax since 4 am that day but they were like nothing. I went in and everything was good, i was dilated to a 3 so we shed. my induction for Thursday the 17th. So i went home and layed around for a bit and my contrax started getting worse and regular. They were 5 min apart for an hour so i went into l&d. They hooked me up to the IV and took my blood and everything but i was still only dilated to a 3 so they had me walk around for an hour. After all the walking, nothing changed except my contrax were stronger. So they sent me home. boy was i pissssedd. So than i was only home for about an hour and my contraxd got to the point that they were unbearable so i went back to the hospital. They checked me and i was dilatd to a 5 by then. I was back on the IV and waiting til i can get the epidural when they decided to check me again and i was already a 7 and i was just a 5 about 45 min before that. I started progressing so fast that i wasnt able to get the epidural and had to do it natural!!! Sooo i was in active labor for 4 hours and outta that 4, i only pushed for 45 min. It was the worst pain i have ever felt and im in so much pain now but my baby Jayden Richard is so worth it. I love him so much. And id have to say for my first baby that my labor was good. I guess i lucked out in a way for it being so short which seemed like forever. Well gL to all of you!!!
