Hello Everyone, my name is Tameka and I am expecting my first child on March 1st, 08. I am very excited because I am having a little girl. I am 22 weeks and I think I am huge :)

I can't wait to meet her!

NOV. 6th

I am 23 weeks now and I had my dr. appt. on 11/6. My baby is doing fine and she's getting so big. She wouldn't stay still for the technician to measure her. She's such a active little girl. She now weights 1lb 4oz's. She also gave me a smile :) OMG, I can't wait to meet my angel; I love her so much. I got a 3D picture but it wasn't so great! My next dr. appt. is on 11/16/2007, that's when I do my glucose test. I am not looking forward to that!!

Nov. 13th

Hello everyone, hope everyone is doing well! I am now 24 weeks, two more weeks until I'm in my 3rd Trimester. I have two more days before I do my glucose test. As I said before not looking forward to it!! But any how, my baby is doing fine, she kicks and play a lot. When she kicks me and I push down on the spot that she kicked, she usally give me a harder kick in that spot; it's so funny! God bless you all!

Nov. 16th

Hope everyone is doing OK!! This morning I had my glucose test... what do you know, I FAILED! So I have to go back in two weeks to do the 3 hour test (YUCK). Oh well, I guess it's for the best. Well my baby girl is doing well, she's still kicking around and playing a lot :)

Dec. 4th

Hello ladies, how's everyone doing? Hope well! OMG, we are in December already, I only have (not counting this month) January and Febuary to go... WOW! It's been a journey! Well I went to the doctor on 11/30/07 nothing much, he just check how big my belly is and the usual routine. My baby girl is doing well, always walking in my belly (which is a good thing :)) I still have to retake my glucose test (the 3 hour nightmare) I'll do that sometime this week hopefully!

Dec. 10th

Hello ladies, hope everyone is doing well. Well ladies I had my glucose test done on Friday, I was there for 3 hrs. which wasn't bad at all. My doctor called me with the results today and I passed with flying colors :) I am sooooo HAPPY!!! One less thing I have to worry about. Finally, I am in my 3rd trimester, I came such a long way from June, I only have 2 months and couple days left (yep, I'm counting down). Now my sisters and I are briefly planning my babyshower for next month... we'll see how that turns out!!

Hello baby mommas, hope everyone is doing ok and enjoying their holidays. Well guys once again I am so counting down to the big day! I went to the doctor last Thursday and today I saw my little munchkin kicking a moving around, damn I can't wait to meet her and hug her. She wouldn't stay still so I could get a good 3d picture (being stubborn already), she kept laughing though!! The tech said I have to drink a lot of fluid to get a good one. Damn, I don't know how much more can I drink. Well I go back to see how she's growing in 3 wks (which she's growing rapidly). Happy New Year and CONGRATULATIONS to everyone who's expecting a baby for the new year :)

Hello Ladies, hope everyone is doing well. I haven't update my page in awhile. Well, my baby girl and I are doing well, she now weighs almost 6 lbs. I am sooo counting down the days now; I have 29 days left till I see my angel.

My baby shower was on Jan. 26th and I had so much fun, I couldn't believe all of that was for me and my baby! I was being pampered and being showered with gifts I felt special; it was FUN!!

My belly is so big, I can barely walk, sleep and stand. I can't wait to go on maternity leave which is in two weeks :). I need to wash my baby stuff and get ready for delivery -- Oh boy, I am so nervous, but it will be worth it.

2/2/2008 is my sister's baby shower and she's having a BOY and I'm doing her baby shower favors; it seems like there's a shower every week :). She's due on Feb 20th, I am so excited for both of us!

Hello ladies, how's everyone doing??? I haven't updated this page in a while. Wow, I had my baby girl on FEB. 13, 2008!!! Almost 3 weeks ago, my baby is getting big. I was 37 1/2 weeks pregnant when I gave birth. I was sent to the emergency room on 2/8/08 because my blood pressure was high; I went to the hospital and they checked me and everything was fine, my blood pressure went back to normal and I was sent home.

I had a follow up appt on the following Monday 2/11/08. My sister had her baby boy on 2/10/08, she had a c-section and I was in the room. Any hoo, I went to the doctor on Monday and he checked me and I was dilated around 1. change centimeter. So he wanted to check how big the baby was, so I had another appt the next day upstair to check the baby.

2/12/08 I went to see how big my baby was to my suprise the technician told me that my amniotic fluid was a 3 and she said that was too low and she was going to let my doctor know immediately, I got scared and asked her if I was going to have the baby now; she said she didn't know she would have to let my doctor know right away. Anyways my doctor came running upstairs saying the I need to go get my stuff because they're going to induced me so that I could have the baby Tuesday or Wednesday, but anyone of the days the baby would be here.

I went home in shock that I would be a mother in a few hours or so... I went to get my bags and stuff and went to the hospital. They prepped me for induction around 5pm, they gave me cervadill the open up my cervix, I had to keep it in for 12 hours, that's when the contractions started to kick in; they hurt but it was something that I could tolerate.

2/13/08 at 6am the doctor came in and took the cervadel out and started me on the potosin* so the baby could come down that's when the pain really started, but again I bare it until I couldn't bare the pain no more. I told the nurse I was ready for my epidoral, when I got it I was smooth sailing from that point on. After a few hour druged up on epidoral the doctors came to check me and my baby head was right there, I couldn't believe my ears when they said OMG you are about to have your baby. I started to push and next thing you at 4:16pm my baby girl was her, I didn't feel a thing!!! It's a wonderful feeling!!
