Wow, I'm only 9 weeks away from meeting my son! This pregnancy has went by pretty fast but seems like it has been slowing the past couple weeks. Maybe because I'm so excited about it? Everything has been great with the baby. He is already on his way to being a large new born like his brother was. I had an ultra sound at 28 weeks and he was already 3.5 pounds! My doctor said that was over a pound heavier than the average baby at that week. Since my last baby was 10 pounds 5 ounces My doctor is keeping any eye on him. I get another ultra sound at 34 weeks. Only 2 weeks until then.

May 22nd,

I had an ultra sound today. The baby looks great, he was kicking me in the ribs the whole time. He had his hand resting on his cheek. His cheeks looked nice and plump the best I could tell. Doc said his weight is up around 6 1/2 pounds! The real fun with the ultrasound was I didn't have a babysitter. So I had to take all 3 kids with me! The girls were great and just sat their and watched, but Jacob wanted nothing to do with being good. It's hard keeping up with a 3 year old when your flat on your back covered in sticky jelly. He ended up sitting on my legs and talking to me the whole time. It could of been worse of course, but I was hoping it would of been easier than it was. Chris was sad that he couldn't be there but we really couldn't afford for him to take the time off. Hopefully the pictures I have will cheer him up some.
