OH CRAP!! Here we go again!! I just had a wonderful baby boy 3 months ago!! We tried for 5 years to get pregnant with him so I know that a second child is a wonderful blessing. But still I can't help to think what this will do to my body. I haven't even gotten rid of my baby belly yet. When I showed my husband the test he said "Well we wanted children so we might as well have them". GRRRR!! I told him it wasn't his body that were talking about. I still need to go to a doctor to confirm. I keep hoping that my pregnancy hormones are still high but I doubt it. I only breastfeed my son for a month and I have had a cycle since then sooo I probably am pregnant. Plus, I just feel like it! Im sure my due date will be changing after I go to the doctor. I better get used to the idea of swollen feet, heartburn and LOTS of FAT!!

Just a quick update.. First Doc appt is on Apr 1st yeah!! Since this is April fools day maybe they will say APRIL FOOLS after they tell me Im pregnant... YAH RIGHT!! Have M/S everyday or I should say everynight! Bloody nose and muscle pains already.. its going to be a long pregnancy but I should count my blessings. I really do complain alot but I know I am blessed. Hopefully we can schedule an ultrasound in a couple more weeks so I can really know what my due date will be. Right now it is just an estimate... I will keep everyone posted

My appt just got bumped to mid-April!! Wow I would love to know what my due date is! I guess Ive waited this long so 3 more weeks wont hurt.

Got my dating scan today! My baby is due on Halloween.. that will be fun picking out a costume! I am 11 weeks and I was able to see the baby waving and kicking... so I guess I really am pregnant.. didn't really kick in until today! Will post ultrasound pics soon

Update: We won't be finding out the sex of our baby! I really wanted to but then my husband said he wanted it to be a surprise. I figured I can't keep a secret that big from him and since its his right as well we mutually came to an agreement that we will wait and see. My next scan is in a couple weeks. I am feeling the baby move alot and can't wait to feel it on the outside!

Just a question...can men (father-to-be) get post-pardum depression after the baby is born? I believe they can and I think Jay has it now. He's been really down and out and his mood changed a week after Shayna was born.

well chloe got weighed last week and she is now 6lb 9oz she is piling on the weight as you can see in the pix.

Oh, and they don't have the same room. We put Colton (14 mo/old) in his own room when he was around 6 months old and the newborn has a crib in our room. When the time comes, I really don't know if we'll put them in the same room to share or give them their own rooms just yet. We do have a 3 bedroom home but might have them share a room when they are this young... probably when Cade gets to be about 6 months old. But, again, I'm not sure yet.

Oh wow, 11 months old and still getting up like that in the night. I wonder if he isn't hungry or if he's gotten into the habbit of being comforted whenever he wakes? Does he sleep very close to your room? Are you always quick to respond to him? Our son was doing this and at first it was because he was obviously teething. On the difficult nights, we gave him some orajel and if it was really bad a little dose of baby tylenol. It could also be that he's still hungry. Our son will go down around 6:30 pm and when he doesn't eat a lot for dinner, he doesn't make it all night. I try to make sure he eats a decent amount at supper time now too. I assume your son is still nursing or getting formula, perhaps some cereal with fruit just before bed will help. If Colton wakes now, I'll go in and rub his back (without picking him up) and tell him mommy loves him, and tell him to rest his head with teddy. If that doesn't comfort him right away, I'll give him a bottle of milk. We also keep a night light on for him and I've noticed if we forget to turn on the night light, he wakes up crying... I believe he is afraid of the dark. So these things you can try too! Night ligth, cereal before bed, rub his back w/o picking him up or give him a bottle... and if it is teeth, some orajel/baby tylenol. You'll DEFINITELY want to get him out of this habbit before your newborn arrives!!! Best of luck, write me anytime.
