Hi there,
I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.
We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.
If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

emilykay - Wednesday, 2 July Lol, I know exactly how you feel. So we're both having big GIRLS! I was 11 when I was born and all my siblings were huge, too! My mom had 6 of us and not one of us was under 9 pounds. I don't understand because my mom is like super skinny. I feel guilty like maybee it's my fault Eva(my little girl) is so big. I sure hope it's not my fault she's so big:(. Do you feel any guilt? Any updates about your doctor/inducing you? I'm so bummed b/c I went in today and I'm still at half a cm dilated so they're not wanting to induce me b/c that's risky. However, they are going to do another growth ultra sound on Monday and they said that if she's 9 pounds or more they'll probably go ahead and induce me, but I KNOW she'll at least be that big b/c last Tuesday she was already 8 pounds 8 ounces!Keep me updated with everything! Sorry to have written a novel:)
LeighBrown - Monday, 23 June hey there, congrats on ur pregnancy..ur due the day after me. im getting really impatient now..the only thing that keeps me going is the fact he could come 'anytime' ..sooner rather than later i hope lol! Anyway hope all is going well. xx
Licah - Friday, 20 June Hey girly, thanks for the reply regarding the B strep/GBS question. I had no idea we even had to take that test until my Dr was giving it to. Getting the antibiotics through IV....does it mean I'll need to get to the hospital long before I'm in labor so I can be sure to get enough antibiotics to kill the bacteria?? Hope all is well and thanks again. -Lica Our angels are almost here ;o)
moopster - Thursday, 19 June my baby is 8 pounds. my doctor is super against intervention, but said i have 2 weeks to get her out on my own or they might have to induce. i am not effaced, she hasn't dropped...nothing. and the doctor said there is a 1 lb. variance so that if i wait til my due date (july 6) she could be as big as 12 pounds, so she told me to start having lots of sex with my husband to get the labor started. so now i'm a little worried...but she said a c-section is last resort and she's delivered a 12 pound baby naturally, so...good luck. let me know what happens with you and your huge kid.
NumberFive - Thursday, 19 June omg ur baby is huge, tell them to indice u or ur gonna have a 12 lbs baby and need a c section
jenjen74 - Tuesday, 17 June I've been told it was carpal tunnel and will go away. Didn't have this with my first two. Hurts to even brush my teeth or address a letter. Hope it goes away quick after birth!!
blessedbaby - Monday, 16 June I have been measuring 38 cm for the past 2 or 3 weeks and today I was measuring 41cm. I have no idea what that means. I would have asked my doctor but he is not the communicative type. He's a bit snappy and it gets on my nerves.
melissaemma - Thursday, 12 June thanks for your reply. i will be getting a wrist support when i have the appointment with the physiotherapist at the hospital but that isnt for 2 weeks.
is there anything you do to ease the symptoms apart from the brace?
sbrittc2000 - Friday, 6 June Hey girl! I get them too. So i think it's normal. Let's just think that it means we will be meeting our little ones soon! I am getting excited and anxious!
Good luck and best wishes to you!
chastin - Friday, 6 June yes I've been getting those pains for a couple weeks...my doctor said its probably baby getting low and on a nerve then one lady on here said her midwife said it may be your cervix ripening....I would rather it be #2 just to feel like its getting closer to baby getting here!! ;)
