My Birth Story....

Well I have been more than busy with my little guy and I finally have some time to share my birth story with you ladies. I was home with my family when I felt a little trickle going down my leg. I didn't think it was my water breaking until WHOOOOSH the water would not stop coming out lol. I said "MOMMMMM" and she was like you're water broke ? She just knew by the way I yelled her name. I called the doctor and they told me to come into the office so they could make sure it was my water that broke. The hospital and doctors office is 45 minutes away from me and I didn't have one contraction. They sent me across the street to the hospital and I got put into a delivery room. Still no contractions. I was at the poiint where they could give me an epidural so I took it, I figured take it before the real contractions start coming on so I could spare my self the pain. I wasn't making any progress so they started potossin..the time kept going by and they kept increasing the dose and still no progress. After 12 hours of being on potossin the baby's heart beat dropped to the 50's so they quickly took me off of it and gave me oxygen. They started rolling me all over to try to get the baby's heart beat back up. After it went back up the doctor checked me and I went from 3 cm to 10 cm in about a minute. The doctor said its time to push!! I was ready and once she said push I pushed as hard as I possibly could. The baby was out within minutes, it took me less then 10 pushes. I was so happy to see him safe and in my arms. It was incredible to see a little life that you created thats perfect in everyway. I wouldn't trade those moments or him for the world. Baby Cordero was 7 lbs. 7 oz. and 20 inches long. Perfect in every way =) The labor was very easy but afterwards was very difficult for me. I couldn't walk for days I was in so much pain. After a couple weeks the pain FINALLY started to go away. I'm just so happy he is here and healthy..Goodluck to all you moms-to be!

Baby boy and me are good. He has been kicking all day and I am getting bigger. I havent put the most recent ultra sound pictures up or pictures of me up because I need batteries for my camera. They run out in like 2 secods with my camera. Once I get some I'll put more pictures up. I still don't have a name for the babes. But DJ and me are working on it.

10:35 a.m.

I've been feeling pretty good the past week. I'm started to think that there is 2 babies. One in my belly, one in my ass. They are both growin equally haha. There are getting huge ! My belly button is starting to pop out. I have lots of aches and pains at times in my body but that's really the only thing I can complain about. My older sister is getting so close to having her baby. Its only 5 weeks until her due date now. It feels so close. I am so excited to meet my first nephew. My sister and me are close so this is a HUGE deal to me. I am so excited for her and I just hope all goes well. She 'll have her baby and then mine is just around the corner. My due date is 3 months after hers. It's crazy how the time is flying. I'm happy our sons are so close is age they'll be just as close as us ! DJ, My friend Hector, and me are going out to Babys R US to get some things for the baby tonight then we are going out to dinner. DJ and me are down to a list of boy's names we like but haven't completely decided. We're getting closer though.

11:49 a.m.

I slept until 11 this moning and that was greatttt, even though I wake up with HORRIBLE back aches every morning now. My belly is growing so much so fast and it gets me so excited. This could only mean I'm getting closer to having my little man. My sister's baby shower was over the weekend and it was BEAUTIFUL! There were like 40 people at my house and my sister had a room FILLLED with gifts. It took her like an hour to open them all. I'm glad she got so many things, she looked so happy. I can't wait for mine now !! It was nice to see the family. They alll were very excited about my lil man as well. I went around with my ultra-sound and everyone was amazed at the pictures. I still have to post them by the way !! Anyways, I am going to start cleaning out the room for the baby's nursery. Its hard with Dad working 7 days a week but we manage to get things done some how. We are completely re-doing the room. Right now its just an extra room in my house being used for storage. We are putting fresh walls up, new floors, and re-painting everything. I have to get it cleaned out for my step-dad to start the construction part of it. DJ and I still don't have a name for babes, we are having such a difficult time. We really want his name to be special so I guess we are taking our time. =) I am posting a new picture of my belly up in my photo book. Check the belly button out, ewwww. haha.

2:24 p.m.

I am sitting on the couch and my baby boy is kicking away. I love it. His kicks are so hard that I can watch my stomach and I can see it move everytime. It makes me feel closer to him and I LOVVVVE that. I just want to meet him and kiss his little face. I have about 4 months left now. =) Today is my anniversary. DJ & I have been together for a year and a half now. It feels like we've been together for so much longer. Everyone says it's like were already a married couple. I could see myself with him for the rest of my life. I don't have a complaint about him and he loves the baby and me so so much. Well my sister could have her baby any day now and the annticipation is driving me nuts! I can't wait to meet my nephew !!

1:29 p.m.

I just got a call from my sister saying she went to the doctor and she is 1 cm dialated. THIS IS AWESOME! That means its only a short time until the baby will be on his way. She is so excited but at the same time she sounds a little nervous. Who wouldn't be, it's her first. On my part I have not been able to sleep at all lately. I can't stop moving my legs and my arms. I never get comfortable. It's he most irritating thing in the world and I can't take anything for it. I sat up all night just watching the baby move around. It was the only thing that comforted me. I can already tell he is going to be my angel. Actually he already is.

12:30 p.m.

Well my back has been hurting for 3 days now. I haven't slept at all. The pain in my back has been so baddddddd. I am getting very frustrated ! The baby seems happy though, he has been kicking around like crazy as always. That makes me relieved. I think we found a name for the baby. It's not 100 % yet beause DJ said he wanted to look a little more but our favorite so far is Cordero, Cord for short. Its a spanish name which is awesome because DJ is puerto rican. We haven't decided on a middle name just yet. We are very indecisive as you can see. I plan to just rest up until the back pain goes away. I will take more pictures soon.

1:02 p.m.

So some amazing things are starting to happen. The baby moves so much and I can feel him rolling around and I can see his arms and legs glide across my stomach. I know he can feel and hear me because when I put my hand on my belly or talk to him he starts kick. I was telling him how much I love him this morning and he started kicking like crazy! I just want him in my arms, it's so hard to think I still have over a few months left. I got some childrens books and am going to start reading to him so he gets use to hearing my voice. It's weird reading to your belly ( haha ) but his kicks let me know its not just my belly its my baby boy cordero. =)

11:16 a.m.

I am already over 6 months pregnant. Boy did that go fast ! It feels like I just found out I was pregnant and now I don't have too long to go. It seems now that I am getting closer to my due date the time is starting to go slower. It's wierd. I am just so anxious to meet my baby. It's been a great pregnancy with some down falls. My family is the only thing that has kept me from enjoying it as much. My mother and sisters are just so mean to me and have no compassion for the fact that I have a little baby inside of me. I hope one day they'll realize how bad they make me feel. I just try to ignore them the best I can but It's hard because I live with them. They just pick and choose the days they want to be nice and the days they want to make me feel like shit. I wish I could get my own place but it's not realistic when DJ and I still have to go to school. Our future is the only thing that makes me put up with it. I've just been holding on to the love for my baby and my boyfriend and that gets me through. I guess that's all I can do for now. I am just staying as optimistic as possible. I have someone else to stay strong for now.

11:14 a.m.

I'll be 25 weeks Wednesday!! Wow time is moving. I am so excited. My belly is growing so much everyday. I was relaxing in my bed yesterday with DJ when I was like ohh my god LOOK! The baby was completely to one side of my stomach, it was this huge big bulge. It totally amazed me. I can't believe he is getting so big ! My sister is now going into her second week of being dialated at 1 centimeter. So we are just waited for her to go ibnto active labor. I am so anxious and excited. Hopefully my nephew will be here soooon.

11:30 a.m.

WOW. What a horrible couple of days. I have had the worsssssssst migrane in history. I woke up with it yesterday morning and then woke up with it again this morning. A charlie horse in my leg kept me up all night. I have back cramps galore, a cramped neck and now I think I have a UTI, GREAT! I feel so horrible. I am just full of complaints and I have the right haha. I get so bored just resting but I feel like that's all I can do. I am hoping it will rain so DJ gets sent home early from work. Just him being in my presence makes me feel 10 times better. I have my 4 week check-up tommarow. I have lots of things to tell my doctor. Hopefully everything is going great with baby Cordero. I picked out a crib, a changing table, bedding, and a gear set for Cordero. It's cool because the set includes a playyard, a high chair, a stroller, a car seat, and a baby carrier. It all matches too which I love. I am so excited to start the baby's nursery. I have a bedroom right next to mine that is just being used for storage right now that we are making Cordero's room. DJ and I are cleaning it out this weekend. I plan to go to school for interior design so this will be the first prodject I do totally on my own. I already drew up a sketch. Once the room is ready we will begin painting. DJ and I went to Home Depot over the weekend to pick out paint colors and find the shevilng units I want. So basically we are just waiting to start =) I will deffinently put up pictures after I'm finished. For now check out some of the baby stuff I picked out in my photo book. 5:03 p.m.

My check-up went well yesterday. I had a new lady doctor and she was awesome. I am going to make appointments with her everytime now. I was late for my appointment though because we all thought my sister was going to get admitted to the hospital but she ended up getting sent home. She is now 2 cm dialated and 80 % effaced so it will be anyday now. I am so syked to see what the baby is going to look like. My sister has been doing everything to put herself into active labor..it's so funny. Anyways the baby and me are perfectly healthy the doctor says so I am very happy. I am 25 weeks 2 days now and I've gained 17 lbs. so far. It's a little scary seeing all that weight on the scale but the doctor says I'm exactly where I need to be so I'll trust her opinion. I got a flu shot yesterday so my arm is a little sore and I kinda feel like poop, the doctor said it should go away soon though. It's been a long week thank god the weekend is here. Hopefully next time I write I will be talking about how cute my nephew is.

I haven't written in so long because........MY SISTER HAD THE BABY =)

On October 29th at 5:30 a.m. my sister's water broke. Her contractions were soooo strong on the way to the hospital. Every contraction she got really mean, haha, can't blame her. When we got to the hospital she was already 4 cm dialated. She was screaming for the epidural. They gave it to her and suddenly she became the nicest person I ever knew. haha. We had a scare after the epidural though. The baby's heart beat dropped to the 50's. Everyone was flipping her around trying to get the baby's heart beat up and they couldn't so they got the operating room ready for a c-section. Right as she was about to get ready to go to the operating room the baby's heart beat went back up and stayed up!! We were so excited. Next time she was checked she was 7cm dialated, then fully dialated!! It happened so much quicker and easier then we expected. She began to push and it took her about 20 minutes. They almost needed to assist the birth but she finally pushed him out herself. THERE HE WAS. My gorgeous little nephew. He is beautiful. It totally blew my mind how he was in her stomach one second and then lying in front of me the next. My sister is soo happy to have him. This made me soooo excited to have mine. I hope all goes well with my babies birth too. It's only 3 months until my little man comes now. We have been doing really good. My belly is getting sooo BIG! That means Cordero is getting big so I love it. DJ and I walked around my block and watched all the little kids trick or treat since we didnt have cordero to take yet. We still got him Candy though =) I already ate half of it haha. So now we can still say we took him out on halloween. He hasn't been moving as much as he was but I still feel him in there. Maybe he is just getting lazy like his momma. I can't wait for the day I get to kiss his little face hehe.

I've been a little worried lately because the baby hasn't been moving as much as he was but then this morning he was a mad man haha. I was so happy to feel him moving all around in there like always. Everything is so great now. My nephew is here and I'm getting closer to my due date. The issues with my family are resolved, I had a talk with my mom the other night about how I didn't like the way her and my sisters have been treating me and she apologized and said she'd tell my sisters' to give me a break, too. My boyfriend gets more wonderful everyday. Finacially we are great. Being as young as I am I've been worried about everything but things just keep going the way I had hoped. I'm happy. I'm hoping things will continue to go so well. Lastly, DJ and I have decided on the baby's full name. It is Cordero Micheal Bermudez =) Let me know what you think.

3:42 p.m.

I am feeling GREAT ! I am so happy around this time. I love Thanksgiving and Christmas, they are my favorite holidays. The baby seems to be doing very well. We don't have our next check-up until the 23rd. I have to take another diabetic screening test that day. Anyways, DJ is cleaning out the room that will be Cordero's right now to prepare for the renovation. I spent the whole day cleaning my room as well for it's renovation. I am excited! I can't wait to take my design ideas for Cordero's room and my room and actually make them happen. Feels like I've been waiting forever. We are putting new walls, carpeting, paint, and shelving in both rooms and also putting a door connecting our rooms together. I can't really start doing anything until that is done. It should be done in two weeks. My uncle is coming tonight to get all the electrical work done so that will be out of the way. Hopefully working on our rooms will keep me busy for a while =).

9:17 a.m.

So I finally got some sleep lastnight. I have been up the past few nights and I was getting really frustrated. I've been sick with a really bad cough for a couple weeks now, I believe it's from my flu shot. I woke up to baby kicks this morning =) Cordero didn't want mommy to sleep for tooo long LOL. I don't mind though atleast I slept through the night. DJ has been really good about me being sick. He does anything he can to help me, he's amazing! I feel bad though because he works seven days a week and long hours and then comes home and caters to me. It's crazy how he went from being a boy to a man in a matter of days after he found out I was pregnant. He is so determined. I love him more than anything. I am so thankful for all the great people in my life right now.

6:50 p.m.

I was having horrible back cramps so I decided to lay on the heating pad and boy did that make the baby go NUTS! He was flipping around and kicking like never before. It's crazy how I can watch my stomach and see his every move. My grandma came to visit and saw the baby kicking from across the room when I was lying on the couch. I was happy she got to see it because she doesnt see me all the time. Anyway time to go back on the heating pad, hopefully these cramps will fade soon.....

Novemver 14th, 2007

28 weeks Pregnant today!!!! I get more excited each week that passes. =) The baby seems to be doing very well. I haven't been feeling to good though. My back is in a lot of pain. I think if I lay on the heating pad any longer my insides will start to cook, LOL. I feel very groggy and still have a cough. I'm naucious ahhhhh. It sucks but My baby gets me through days like this. Yesterday I went to see my nephew and I got him to burp after feeding him, YAY. Thats the one thing I've always been nervous about doing and I conquered it haha. When my sister said to him, "Wait until you meet your cousin" meaning my baby, he smiled real big in his sleep. It was so cute. DJ is off of work today which is great because we get to spend the day together. This never happens. I wish I felt better though =(

8:16 p.m.

I feel Huge today. Everyone is saying my belly popped out all the sudden which I deffinently agree with. The baby has been moving so much the past few days. He has been kicking me HARD! He has started to touch my ribs now and boy is that a crazy feeling. Also when I put my hand on belly he'll kick wherever my hand is. ITS SO CUTE!! My body is starting to ache from the extra weight. I try to stretch, lay on the heating pad, and take some tyenol but that doesn't always work. My nephew was here all day and I got to see my sister give him a sponge bath, it was adorable. My sister went to change his diaper and he had a BIG POOP. It got everywhere and on top of that he went pee all over the place, that wasn't adorable but it was really funny haha. This month has flown by. I already have my check-up appointment next week and it feels like I was just there. I am looking forward to Thanksgiving next week and all the yummy food that comes along with it. My appointment is the day after so I'm scared to see how much I'll weigh after a big Thanksgiving dinner LOL. We are continuing to work on the babies nursery and my room. It's coming along pretty well so I am syked. My sister is spending the night again with my nephew so I am excited about that as well. I'll be busy for the rest of the night with them =)

11:13 a.m.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!! Only 11 more weeks until my due date now!! The baby woke me up this morning with his rolling and kicking. He is so cute, what's better to wake up to. I walked up my stairs this morning to a house full of people. A little overwhelming but I loved it at the same time. My lil nephew was here and he was wearing his first outfit and it was absolutely adorable. I held him until he had to leave, but he'll be back later. I'm looking forward to see all my family that will be here today. Some of my family still doesn't know I'm pregnant so when they show up and see my belly its gunna be a funny surprise. I am going to eat sooooooooooo much haha...Cordero is going to be one happy little boy. Anyways I have to get ready, EVERYONE HAVE A GOOD HOLIDAY =)!!

I have good news. I went to the doctor yesterday and the baby is measuring up just like he should be. The heart rate is perfect, I love hearing it!! He was moving all over while the doctor was getting the heart beat. I got a couple things to relieve my back pain and boy do I already feel so much better. The doctor told me I need a prenatal cradle, this harness looking device. I don't care what it looks like as long as it helps. I also got the diabetic screening test again, I won't get the results until Monday or Tuesday. I go back to the doctor is 3 weeks and then from there every 2 weeks. It's so exciting because that means I am getting very close to meeting my little boy!! Next appointment I am going to find out if and when I get my next ultra sound. Hopefully they will give me one. In some situations they won't give you one if they don't think it's nessesary. Anyways things have been going great, I am just so excited that in just a couple months my little man will be here. =)

7:45 p.m.

So the baby is a hiccup machine. He gets them atleast once a day. It is an awesome feeling. My back has hurt pretty bad today. My belly is growing so much and so fast its putting a lot of strain on it. Only 10 weeks until my due date though!! Hopefully I will come a couple weeks early, hehe. I went to the college I will be attending in January today. At first I was planning on becoming an interior designer and also getting a a real estate license but I have decided to go for architectural technology. Not only is it good money but I have been drawing houses ever since I could draw. I am great at drawing and love creating things so I thougth it would be just the right thing to do. I am so excited to get started and to work on building my future for my family and me. DJ is starting his lanscaping/escavating buisness hopefully by this spring. My mother is helping us finance all the equipment he is going to need. I am so thankful for my mother. Without her this whole situation would be a lot harder. I have great hopes for the future and am excited to see what it brings. I decided on a date for my baby shower. It will be January 5th. I am registering at Babys R' US this weekend and then sending out the invitations the weekend after that. I am so excited!! Anyways, back to the heating pad for me.

30 WEEKS TODAYYYY!!! I've made it haha. Only 10 weeks to go, I am so excited =) I can't believe I am 30 weeks, it has gone by so fast! The baby's movements are so strong and I lie there and just watch my whole belly just move from side to side. I am so excited for the weeks to pass and the baby to get bigger and healthier so I can meet him!

4:34 p.m.

Today was a great day I slept in late and then woke up to my baby nephew being here. I got to babysit him all day while my sister went to her college for a meeting with her teacher. It was so nice to have the practice with a newborn and him being a boy is a plus. I haven't had any boys in my family so I need the practice with how to take care of one. I spend a lot of my days at home resting by myself so his company was soo nice. It was cute having him lie on my belly while his cousin was kicking underneathe him. Being with him just made me so excited to meet my baby and it reassured me that I will be a great mommy. Lately I find myself questioning "Will I be able to do this ? Will I be able to do that?" and like I said taking care of my nephew helps me to realize I'll be just fine. I recieved my back brace in the mail today, I am excited to see if it helps. I am hoping so because I don't know how much more my back and me can take. Anyways if there's one thing I know its that I love my baby boy more than anything and no matter what he is worth every minute of what I go through.

4:38 p.m.

I haven't written in a few days...For a couple days in a row I was baby sitting my nephew and then got a sinus infection. It has now turned into a severe sinus infection. I went to the doctor today and got antibiotics. I can't wait for this infection to be gone.My head, eyes, temples, nose, and jaw are throbbing in pain, So bad at times i start shaking. My eyes are swallon and won't open from the pain.I have never had a sinus infection this bad. On top of that my back is really bad today. Good news is I'M 31 WEEKS TODAY! ONLY 9 MORE TO GO! This whole thing is almost over and I get to meet the little life that I've proudly gone through all of this for. My grandmother, mother, and sister went 2-3 weeks early with all there children so who knows it really could only be less then 9 weeks I hope. The baby is doing well though, He is kicking as much as ever. He loves to kick his cousin while he's lying on my stomach getting fed ..it's funny. Its like he is saying "HAY THATS MY MOM GET OFF" lol. Anyways I'm going to lie back down I need lots of rest.

8:24 p.m.

I am soooo sick. I thought I was sick last week well this week it is 10 times worse. Not only do I have a sinus infection but now I have a horrible harsh cough. Everytime I cough it hurts sooo bad and it strains my stomach and my back. Besides that I feel that the baby and I have doubled in size. I am so uncomfortable. I can't sleep at night because I can't find a comfortable position no matter which way I lay. I can never find a comfortable position even during the day. My ribs hurt because the baby has been sitting right under them and my hips hurt really bad as well. I feel like I can' ever get a big enough breath..errr. I am not the happiest women right now. I registered at Babies R' Us today even thought I felt this horrible. I had to because my baby shower is getting so close. I wish I felt better so I wasnt so rushed and miserable. I'm hoping I'll wake up tommarow better and maybe I'll get some sleep tonight. But that is a far-fetched wish as of right now.

12:28 p.m.

So I am 32 weeks 2 days pregnant. I went to the doctor Wednesday and found out a few things...Well the good news is the baby is head down the not so good news is the baby is measuring small. I went to the doctor last at 29 weeks and was measuring exactly where I needed to be. This appointment at 32 weeks I was only measuring 30. It has been bothering me, the doctor said at my appointment in 2 weeks if I am not measuring where I need to be we will schedule an ultra sound. I am anticipating this appointment, I just want my little boy to be perfect. Other than that I am still extremely uncomfortable. Sleep and relaxtion doesn't come easy anymore. I am holding on to the fact that it will all be worth it and will be over soon. Everyone tells me it is normal to feel this way at the stage of pregnancy I am at....Let's hope so!

The time is going by so fast, I can't believe there is only 8 days until Christmas. My pregnancy on the other hand goes slow at times. I feel like I am so close yet so far away. My family and me decorated the Christmas tree lastnight. I was happy to have Cordero with me while decorating. Even though he isn't out of my belly he was still there. I was putting up the train around the tree and thought how I can't wait until next year when Cordero can help me put it up. I think Cordero is going to be a very active baby. He is constantly kicking and jumping around. I love his kicks, they let me know he is doing good. They can be painful now at times but I still love them. Anyways daddy brought the baby and me some lunch. Time to go eat =).

December 27th, 2007

1:45 p.m.

I am now 34 weeks ! Only 6 to go and I am more excited then ever. It's getting scary now that I am getting so close. I just want my baby to be healthy and everything to go okay. DJ and me are so excited to meet our little man we've waited so long for. It's becoming so real. I am getting so big. I go to the doctors the 31st. I am anxious to get there just to hear the words from him that everything is going well. Anyways Christmas was great. Lots of presents, family, and best of all food. =) =) When it comes to how I've been feeling I haven't been the best. Sleepless nights and pains all over my body aren't exactly fun. I'm almost there though so I'll get through it.

1:13 p.m.

WOW, I haven't written in forever because my computer crashed. I just got a new one because I started my first online semester at Dutchess Community College. I decided on my major and I plan on being an architect. The classes are going pretty well and I'm excited to be back in school again. So about the most important thing, my baby boy Cordero. He is doing great. He hasn't decided to come out yet unfortuantly. lol. I am now 37 weeks 3 days and counting down every minute. The baby is getting so big and his movements are SO strong! I've been feeling pretty good besides all the extra weight in the front. It puts a strain on my whole body. Ever since yesterday I've felt lots of pressure and have been peeing every 2 seconds. He deffinently dropped. This excites me because I went to the doctor earlier this week and he said nothing was going on yet. Hopefully when I go back on Tuesday things have changed. DJ and me are more excited than ever. We are finally finished with re-doing the room. We have all the baby stuff set up and all our bags packed for the hospital. WE ARE READY FOR THIS BABY! I had my baby shower January 6th and so many people showed up and I go lots of really stuff. I was very furtunate. I will post some pictures from the baby shower and a new belly photo. Anyways I guess we'll just be waiting for the little man =)

12:51 p.m.

I had my first contraction last night and then a few more. My stomach tightened up and it hurt then relaxed. My mom was feeling my stomach as it was happening. It got me real nervous yet excited because I thought lastnight may have been the night. Offiesly it wasn't. I feel a lot different the past few days. It's like I know the baby is going to be coming any day, I feel he is coming very soon. I can't stop cleaning and getting things ready for him. I am going nuts! I JUST WANT HIM IN MY ARMS!!

2:50 p.m.

I'M 1 1/2 CM DIALATED!!!! I am so excited finally I've progressed a little bit. Everyday I'm a little closer to meeting my baby Cordero. I finally gained some weight too which means the baby gained some weight, that's always a plus. The doctor had DJ and me feel his head. It's very low, it's so weird how you can feel it when you touch your lower belly. Anyways the baby seems to be doing great and so am I. I'm just waiting to meet the little love of my life. DJ is super excited as well. I'll keep everyone updated =)

January 28th, 2007

8:00 p.m.

Wow does my body hurt!! I feel like my belly is growing by the second. All the muscles in my body feel pulled and I feel a lot of pressure in my belly. I am so ready for him to be out. I am 39 weeks Wednesday and have my doctors appointment Thursday. I am hoping I will have this baby before then but I am not getting my hopes up at all. It just makes the time go slower. These past couple of weeks have felt longer then my whole pregnancy. I clean like an animal everyday just in case I go into labor so I can come back to a nice clean room and not have anything to do. I want everything to be perfect for the baby. I just want him in my arms. I feel like I'm never gunna get to meet him. I am praying he comes soon.

February 6th, 2007

11:03 a.m.

TODAY IS MY DUE DATE!! I went to the doctors yesterday and got the news that I am now 2 cm dialated and my cervix has changed. I hadn't been feeling any contractions and then once I got to the doctor's office yesterday they started. I've had contractions since 6 p.m. lastnight that have been 10 minutes apart. They are still coming this morning at the same time interval. I am hoping I will go into active labor soon or I'm going to have to wait until Valentines Day to be induced. The doctor said he doubts I'll make it til then. The way I've been feeling I doubt it too. With all these contractions happening I have to go into labor sooner or later. I am the only girl in my family who has gone this far in their pregnancy, everyone else had their babies 2-3 weeks early. WHY DO I HAVE TO BE THE ODD ONE OUT? !? It's very frustrating but I am trying to get through it the best I can. I am trying to be patient but its so hard because all I want to do is see my baby boy and my body hurts so bad. I haven't had any sleep in the past week and I mean I have had NO sleep AT ALL! Anyways I hope my baby boy decides to come out soon, my mom and me are going to take a walk now to try to get these contractions in full gear.

11:25 p.m.

I went to the doctors because I kept having contractions. They put me on the monitor for a bit and then the doc checked me. I am still 2cm dialated but I am 100% effaced and the baby is at zero station. He said that I am ready to go into labor any minute but at the same time it could still take days . I can't wait anymore, I just keep having contractions and they HURT! I wish I woul go into active labor. I guess he'll just decide when he wants to come out but he only has until valentines day lol. I am wooped, time for bed!

February 8th

7:14 a.m.

I am 2 days after my due date and still no baby. I still am having contractions, which are painful by the way, but they aren't getting me anywhere. This is soooo frustrating! Not only do I wanna see my baby boy soooo bad but my body is in so much pain =( It feels good knowing that no matter what I'll be induced on Thursday of next week (Valentines Day) but I wish he would come right now!! I have been doing everything in my power to get me into active labor but it doesn't see to work. I am told by everyone to stay on my feet, walk, go on bumpy car rides, and many more things but like I said nothing is working. I never thought I'd still be pregnant by now. I guess the baby just loves his mommy too much to come out. I am just trying to be as patient as possible but its getting harder each day that passes.
