12.7 hours ago Thank you for your response.I was just kinda wondering cause when I had mentioned it to my family my cousin said "Your having your own baby shower,Why?" and I told her cause I want it a certain way. So then I started thinking about it and doubting it. But I think I am going to go ahead with it. Thanks again. Hope all is well with you and Good Luck! mama40 -
Saturday, 17 May Did you think of changing doctor? The thing he says about 10 lb is too much and that you shouldn't gain any more is complete rubbish. read some books about pregnancy - you'll see that actually they now recommend more weight gain than 10 years ago. 10 by 28 weeks is perfect. I gained 24 pounds by 32 weeks and my doctor said it is normal weight gain. You do not want to sarve your baby don't you? Just eat healthy, limit carbs, butters and fats (but do it some veggy oils), switch to high fiber food, eat pleanty of fruits and veggies, and if you do this, all weight you gain will be the weight you and your baby need. Good luck! Izziebo -

Tuesday, 13 May I've never played Guitar Hero. My favorite is the boxing that comes with it. It helps me work up a sweat. :) Those shows are sometimes scary, but some women seem to breeze through it. Everyone is different, so don't let it scare you too much. :) Try to stay positive, think about the great outcome. I figure that will get me through it, if nothing else. I've been through a lot, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that my high pain tolerance will get me through it with no problems, lol. I've seen Deliver Me advertised, but I think it doesn't come on until 10pm here. By then, we're usually going to bed and hubby has control of the remote. :P surprisedmommy2b -

Sunday, 11 May I hear you!! I was pretty worried to when they couldn't see all of her heart. Hearts are pretty important!! I'm sure your little babe will cooperate next time. When is your next scan? Is it booked already? surprisedmommy2b -
Saturday, 10 May Hi! I read your post about having to have your u/s redone. I had to have mine redone too because they couldn't see all of her heart or her umbilical cord properly. I had the first one at 21 weeks and went back at 24 weeks and she had changed position and they got everything they needed and it all looked fine. Don't worry, I'm sure it will all be fine. Good luck!! armywifemommy -
Saturday, 10 May Good luck! I hope you start to feel better.
Oh and I forgot to mention, it could be something in your diet. There is something called a Tyramine Free diet (you can find it one the internet) it's hard to follow at first, but a lot of times is something that you are eating that causes the migraines. Just a thought...

Saturday, 10 May I read your post about getting migraines. I have been lucky...I used to get four to five a week and they would be so bad I couldn't move. But I have only gotten one since I was pregnant (knock on wood). Anyways, if you can bear it I would NOT take the vicodine.....it will go straight to the baby. Instead try some simple home remedies....cool rag on your head, have hubby massage your shoulders, have him lightly rub your forehead, rub your temples clockwise 10-15 times, then counterclockwise, or you can simply put a blindfold on and lay in the tub.
I hope that something can help. I would use a lot of these techniques with my migraines. My doc had literally tried 10 different daily meds and nothing worked and then a new doc actually gave me a deadly combination of pills and after that experience I won't even take a tylenol. It was so scary!
Anyways, I hope that something works and that you don't have to resort to the meds. BmoreMom2B -

Monday, 28 April Thank you for your kind words about my husbands situation. Luckily, everyone calmed down (hubby too), and we're hopeful it will blow over. I completely agree with you on what you said about the high schoolers. There is no way I could teach them -- too much drama. It is one parent in particular that seems to be leading the charge. The funny thing is that I have heard some of the filthiest comments come out of her mouth at the games. Not only that, she has four kids by four different men and they are all on scholarship at the school. I'm not sure how you go from that to being so sanctified you or your precious kid can't stomach the word bullshit. We know better! Ugh - I just think it is so hateful to demand someone be fired over something so petty when you know they have a family. I've seen some not very Christian behavior at this school and that worries me. Ah! What do you do? Thank you for your comments and good luck to you! Your family is beautiful! brittlovesmatt -

Friday, 25 April Hi there. No, I don't feel my baby move all the time. Somedays the baby is very active, and other days not so active. Have you tried laying down; breathing deeply for a few mins, placing your hand on your tummy and waiting to feel some movement. Sometimes the movements are so slight that you may not feel them as such but your hand may feel it if placed on the stomach. Try it. that's what i do when I get very worried. But yes, some days are slower than other days. DonnaMarie -
Friday, 25 April Sometimes in Uterus the baby might kick the placenta , hence you might not feel him when he does. So dont worry tooooooo much unless you stop feeling movement ALLL TOGETHER, my little guy moves every 3 hours, though sometimes he misses one or two of the times, sometimes it when im walking so he might not wanna kick when im doing that. If you still feel your baby thats great, just give him a day and if you continue to worry call your doctor and tell him your concerns, your doctor can check in on the baby. Also you should be able to hear your baby with a stethoscope by now, so if you buy a $5 one then you might get some relief hearing your baby :) skogstad21 -
Friday, 25 April hey yeah well i asked me doc if i can take anything and she said no because all the meds for that are rated in the high category she said that i just have to try and deal with it Izziebo -
