~ february 16 ~
We just found out that we are pregnant and we are very excited. I have two girls already, maybe this one will be a boy! I am already starting to feel sick. How does everyone else deal with it? With my other pregnancies it was horrible. I hope this one is better!

So, I see that some of you ladies have tried getting the sex of your babies early with that home urine test. Do you think it is accurate. I didn't find out what I was having with my first two, but for some reason I am dying to find out with this one though. I have vowed that I wouldn't do that. Maybe I will find out and not tell anyone. I am so bad at that though. I love the surprise at the end of it all. We are putting an addition on to our two bedroom home. We are adding two additional bedrooms and I would like to be able to decorate in boy or girl before the baby comes.
Now, the other thing is, if we have a boy.......My husbands family has this thing, well, let me start by saying that my husband is 1 of 3 boys. It is tradition that the first boy born to each son should have the initials GAL. Obviously our last name starts with and L, so that is easy. His brothers first son is Garrett Alan. So that is not an option. Oh, the other thing is that my husband is thinking of breaking the tradition. I think he may regret this, but on the other hand, there are not a lot of G boy names that we like. Maybe the problem will be solved when we have another girl!!! LOL What do you think?

Ok, so the m/s is staring to set in. Not terribly, I mean, I can function. It kind of comes in waves and I do find if I keep a full belly, I feel better. I will be as big as a house, but I will feel better!!! I found with my other pregnancies that if I suck on caramels, it helps too. (the chewy kind, not the Werthers) My hubby left to go back to work 2 days ago. He is a cheif mate on a gasoline tanker on the west coast, which means he will be gone for 3 months. Good news is, he will be home for 3 months. It works out perfect because he will be home 3 weeks before the baby is due. We still have a ways to go for that. It is probably better that he left now because I am quite cranky. Not with my kids, just with him. Poor thing. He is so excited about this pregnancy and I just want to be left alone. I feel so mean. Hopefully it will pass before he comes home. I have my first sono on tuesday, 3/11. I will keep you all posted. xoxo
