i have to go to so many appts because i have gd too. i just found out even though i am 36 weeks now, so i have to rush to try and fit everything in and make sure everything is ok. good luck with your pregnancy and i hope all is happy and healthy!

The plug is gel-like, and mine was clear. It can also have a pink or brown tint to it. There is a mucous plug forum on here with a really accurate picture. Mine was like the picture that is on the right side of that page. I went to go pee, when I wiped I saw the gel-like substance on the paper. (hope that's not TMI!)

Thanks for the support, my sister does have an alternate babysitter, but she owes her some $$ and hates to take her boys to her when she's behind like that. I can understand and I've been very sympathetic, but at this time my sister needs to understand where I'm coming from too. It's not like I don't love her or her kids, it's just I'm doing my best to protect my baby from any viruses especially if I go into labour soon cause you just never know at this stage!

ohh wow! i would be desperate to have him if i was going through that too! but hey on the bright side we're almost there! just hang in there! as for me well everything went ok...i was still 2cm and the contractions were still coming strong so they decided to give me a higher dose of procardia to help with the contractions and some other pills to help the baby with infections just incase he decides to come out early...i was also put on strict bed rest...im having an us on 3/10 and i go back to L&D on the 12th to check for any progress...but im really hoping he stays in there until im 36wks or so....

I tried everything but nothing worked for me baby was moving but she told me she couldn't get a clear enough picture. I have blues, greens, yellows but I wanted to buy a dress or a suit. Oh well I get an u/s every month so next time maybe

i just read one of your comments on how you and your hubby want a baby boy thats awesome i know you are afraid of the feeling you might have if doc says its a girl well i just found out yesterday that i am having a baby girl, but in my gut i have had the feeling it was a boy that is what i most wanted but of course you know it really doesnt matter as long as our precious babies are healthy ;) i just wanted to say when the doctor told us it was a girl i was shocked!!!! because my mind was so set on a boy but i can tell you it was a good shock because i was just as happy that we are having a girl....i hope you get your little prince good luck on the 17th prince or princess as long as he/she is healthy take care!

Hi. I know how you feel about the sex of the baby. My husband and i want a girl but I have a feeling its a boy. I was getting really use to the fact that we were having a girl , so I decided to start calling the baby a boy. When I refer to the baby I say HE. This way, Im use to the fact that its a boy unstead of having get use to a girl. Just in case.Cause im already for a girl. not a boy. In other words , im playing mind games with myself..lol It helps.
