Hi everyone and thank you for seeing my page. Well I'm 24 and my dear husband is 25 we have been married for 3 1/2 years now and are very excited to be expecting our first child. We come from very close families which mean that this baby will be close to all of his/her uncles, aunt, and grandparents. We have to idea at the moment if it's a boy or a girls but we actually don't care we just want our baby to be healthy and happy with us.
My in-laws want a girl because they had 3 boys and have 1 grandchild that is also a boy so a girl would blow them away. My parents are in the middle they just want the baby to be healthy and for me to be ok during the pregnancy.
For the first 3 months I had terrible morning sickness. I was not able to eat anything and keep it down was even worse. So much that I lost 15 pounds in 1 month. I hope nobody experiences it because it's not fun. The only way that I stopped throwing everything up was with medicine that the doctor gave me.
Well let me know how you are all doing and I will try to update as much as I can. Good luck to you all and congratulations MOMMIES!!!

Birth Story
Well at 35 weeks pregnant I started to have contractions and complications with my pregnancy. My feet started to sweell up alot and more than usual. My blood pressure started to go up and then go down in a matter of minutes and the doctors thought that I might be suffering from pre-eclancia. On Monday November 19th. I went to the hospital at 6am because I had strong headaches and my blood pressure was very high. The put me on monitors and saw that I was having contractions and I wasn't feeling them. They let me go home at around 12pm because the contractions and headache had stopped. I went back to the hospital black friday at around 2am with strong contractions and high blood pressure. My ribs were also hurting alot and they let me go home at around 10am after my contractions had stopped.
On Sunday November the 25th. I wook up and saw that I had lost my entire mucose plug, and started to have slight contractions at around 9am. I kept having them but not very strong. At around 7pm I felt as if my water brook. My husband Diego, parents sister, and brother took me to the hospital.
They did an internal exsam and I was 3cm dilated already and 80% thinned out. I was also having contractions every 2 minutes but the problem was that my blood pressure was going up al lthe time and they were afraid that it was pre-eclansia again and kept me overnight for more tests. Later on that night they thought that because I was having pain in my ribs that it could be my gallbladder that was effecting my liver and would effect my kidneys later on. Every 15 minutes they would check my blood pressure to make sure that everything was OK but it would not stay down.
After staying a thte hospital from Sunday the doctors started to talk about an induction on Tuesday because my blood pressure was not going down and the blood tests that they would do on me kept saying that something was wrond with my galbladder. At 9pm they started me on pitocin to start the induction.
I started having contractions very regularlly and I was going great with them, I told the nurses that I was going to try to go as natural as possible. My husband, mom, and mother in law were with me during the entire time. My dad was on his way to the hospital from Tennesse which is a 6 hour drive. Aat around 2am the doctor checked me and I was 5cm dilated and she decided to brake my water. It was a very uncomfortable experience and it hurt a lot. As soon as she broke my water a gush of water came down and my contractions started to get very strong. I did not attend birthing classes but watched a lot of TV shows and got breathing techniques from them. I started to relax and consentrate on labor and controlled myself. At around 3:15am I told the nurse that I felt as if I was going to go to the bathroom. They checked me and saw that I was 9cm dilated already and 100% thinned out.
My dad had arived to the hospital at around 3am and I felt like I could have the baby any moment without a problem. The doctor was very surprised that my labor was progessing so quicklly and without complication. I was ready to start pushing at around 3:40am. At that point my contractions started to space out and made my pushing longer because I had to wait for a contraction in order to push. They also strated to notice that my babies heart rate went down with each contractions so they came to the conclusion that his umbilical cord was wrapped around his neck. They put an air mask on so I could breath better and more oxcygen could go to the baby. They also put something that looked like a water wose that had water. That was used to help the umbilical cord loss on the babies neck. I was also instructed to move from one side to another during contractions to help the baby breath better. I held my husbands hand the entire time and felt like I would do this and much more. I started to push my baby and felt stronger than ever. I heard everything that the doctor said as she was helping me the entire time. At exsactlly 3:48am my little Sebastian came into the world. I only have about 4 very strong pushes and he was out.
In a matter of secounds the doctor cut his umbilical cord because it was wrapped around hsi neck so my husband was not able to cut it. He was placed on my chest. After feeling how his head, sholders, arms, and entire body came out of mine and hearing him cry and placed on my chest was the best thing I could have ever done in my life. I started to cry as soon as I saw him. The doctors todl me tha he was in great conditions and did not have to go to the NICU. He weighed 6 pounds 1 once and measured 17 1/2 inches.
This is the best thing that could have ever happend to me. I wish everyone the best with the remaining time in their pregnancies.
