Hello ladies, My name is Sonya. My boyfriend Adam & I have been together a little over 4 years now & just had our first child together...A boy we named Kaden, he is just beautiful & just such a sweet little guy! I also have two children from my previous marriage both are girls ages are 12 & 11 years old, they are both great kids & I am so very proud of them that I know they will be such good big sisters to their only little brother. It feels almost like forever ago that I had the my girls that it almost feels like this is all new to me...but being that he will be my last I am going to savor ever moment with him as a baby because I know how fast they grow up, I have waited it seems like forever for a son & the exhaustion since he was born is totally worth it. This pregnancy came as a suprise to us but we are so excited & Kaden so very much completes our home.

Hi ladies I have a question about breast feeding when i feed my baby boy he feeds very well but it seems he always wants to suck on my boob i am wondering is he not getting a lot to eat I am worried that I am starving him and I feel so bad :(

I had my angel on friday the 13th!!! he was born at 3:38pm and weighed 8lbs and 50z, and was 22.5 inches long...big boy!!! I had a great delivery and only pushed for a total of 8 minutes which was amazing!!! he is a great baby boy strong and very healthy and a great eater and my 4 year old is being an excellent BIG brother!!!

Hi ladies, I had my little man Friday at 6:02pm after 8 hours of induction and my epidural fell out at 7 to 8 cm but they replaced it in time will post birth story soon

I am so excited I am being induced at 7:30 am is check in tomorrow and they are breaking my water at 8:30, my dr says I should have my baby by afternoon time!!!

Hello! Finally home from the hospital with my little man:o) He was born 2nd of November and weighed in at 8lbs 14oz. We had to stay in hospital a little longer then normal as my LO got jaundice and had to have phototherapy to help it clear up. We have to get his weight checked tomorrow as he lost more weight then normal. He is bright eye & alert though. He is eating good, I am working on bf but also pumping and feeding him by bottle to help get his weight up. I'll have my birth story up as soon as I have a spare moment:o)

Ok ladies...Rylee is about 9 1/2 months old now...has 3 teeth...2 bottom middle and 1 top canine. She is getting VERY tired of her regular baby food! I gave her the gerber graduates fruit dices and she loves those. She can chew Puffs, yogurt melts, soft fruits. I need suggestions on food for her! She currently is eating stage 2 Earths best food. I tried stage 3 but shes really not even that into that! She loooves lasagna. I am just so scared of choking. What are you feeding your LOs now? I am going to get more of the fruit and veggie dices bc she did really well with those but she needs meals too. I am also going to try the Plum Organics food that was suggested by another mom on here so that i can give her a different flavor. So any suggestions...meals snacks anything would be appreciated. Thanks!

great news! congratulations. i am so happy for you.i am so glad that things have turned out so great for you. i love that your story has taken the turn away from what the drs thought because it seems it happens alot and your story gives great hope to others to put their trust in GOD and not everything the drs say will be so. keep us updated on how kaden gets along as he grows.my ryan continues to do well, and i think it is our turn to pay it forward and help out others who need us to let them know that you can't give up on your child despite all the information thrown at us. fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations on the birth of your son! I am so glad that everything worked out well for your little one. Thank you for posting your story on the VM page. I am certain that there are plenty of healthy babies terminated by ill informed practicioners. Thank goodness everything worked out so well for you!!!

I read this forum almost every day, I am so happy for you, another happy ending. Like you I feel so happy that we kept our little boy even if the doctors asked to consider termination. Shows you can't tell for sure until the baby is there, and then you can face anything because you fall in love with your baby. Even if you had to go through a lot of stress in your pregnancy, when you look back at the experience you realize it makes you appreciate how lucky you are to have healthy babies, and gives you much more empathy for what it is like to have a disabled or sick child.

Congratulations. I understand totally how u feel. All the mega stress at the end of the pregnancy and then he's born and he's perfect. We went thru exactly the same thing. It's like someone in heaven suddenly grants you a miracle. Enjoy your little boy. I still can't stop kissing my son all over and telling him what a special baby he is 4 months on.

hi i just read ur update and i am so glad of your happy ending...this is fantastic news. i hav been following your journey and all your updates...i am 21 weeks pregnant and in a similar situation...there is a lot of fluid in my baby girls brain and docors think its hydrocephalus or ventriculomegly...she is so stong and active that im hopeful these are good signs and i will get some good news when i have an MRI scan in 2 weeks time...i also had a clear amnio test result...my baby does have a cleft lip and palate so im worried that this is also cause for concern...ill keep you and kaden in my thoughts and your story will help to keep me possitive xxxx
