Saturday, 20 September OMG....that's SOOO great that your parents and in-law's are buying so much. My mom will probably buy some of the stuff we still need and my husband's gramma is supposed to be giving us money for the armoire. I wish my husband was patient enough to not find out. LOL! He always wants to know. I've heard one of the best surprises in life is finding out at the birth the sex of your baby. I'm so excited for you!! rahomsw -
Saturday, 20 September Me TOO! LOL!!! We talked about doing a Diaper Party in Oct, but I'm not sure now. I wanted to do this big thing somewhere but since I'm on bedrest, if we do anything, it will be at the house and just my female friends since our house is so small. I made up a registry too, mostly so my hubby knows what to buy if I'm in the hospital. We actually got rid of everything 2 years ago. Didn't think we'd ever be able to afford to do IVF again. I have been buying some things from a mutual friend with twins and from craigslist. My aunt, who has some of Luukas' stuff, is giving us all of her boy stuff and a friend of my SIL's is giving us tons of girls clothing! I only registered for a few things....bottles, towels, diapers, sleep sacks, mattresses, high chairs, etc. We'll definitely need diapers too!!!! Did I already ask you??? Do you know what you're having??? I have a terrible memory. SORRY. rahomsw -
Saturday, 20 September I'm so glad you're pregnancy has been awesome!! I won't even start to tell you about mine...it's been good, but lots of ups and downs too. I blogged about them all!! Just hoping at this point that I can get to 35 weeks and bring my babies home from the hospital with me! That's my goal, though I know more realistically I could deliver at any point past 28 weeks. Nausea will week 18. OH BOY! They didn't find anything with the colonoscopy other than possible Thrombofillia (which we now know I do have a blood disorder) and unexplained inflammation of the colon. I was very nervous about being put under for the colonoscopy but it went well. Have you started buying baby stuff?? rahomsw -
Saturday, 20 September He didn't say anything about the spotting other than don't take the baby aspirin bc of it. I sure hope the babies are fine!!! I'll try to remember to ask at my next appt about what happens after their birth..... I'll keep you posted. BTW, is this your first pregnancy? I have a 4 yr old and never had these problems with him. rahomsw -
Saturday, 20 September Hi there....so is MTHMR different from MTHFR C677T? I know they are both genetic blood disorders. The doctor called to talk with me. He said the babies should be fine and said the same thing you were told...about the risk of blood clotting. He said my homocysteine levels are normal so the vitamins are a precaution. Sounds like we were told the same thing. the only thing he said to wait on taking is the baby aspirin bc I've had a few incidents of spotting (2 in the last week) since I've been preggers. Sooooo, here's my big question....my babies WILL be OK right?? AND do you know, does this all go away after they are born?? mcgill31 -
