This is my 3rd pregnancy. I've had one sucessful pregnancy that ended with my amazing and beautiful daughter Madison who is 4. She is my world and I love her more than anything! We love bunnies!

I became pregnant for the 2nd time in Jan.07 however this pregnancy ended on Mar 8.07. It was very sad but it taught me a lot and really made me realize just how lucky I was to have my healthy and beautiful little girl.

Amazingly, with the grace of God, I became pregnant again in May and I'm due Feb 14.07. I am so excited and I can't wait to meet this new little person. I am so blessed. I feel like I've won the lottery!

Since I found out that I was pregnant, I've been dying to know what I'm having and based on an old wives tale:

It's a girl!

September 26, 2007 - The day I've been waiting for, my 20 week ultrasound. Once I found out that the baby is healthy and well, the tech. finally revealed what I've been wanting to hear for so long ~ it's a girl! Those wives tales seem to work for me! I was so thrilled as I wanted another girl SO bad! She will be Kayla Isabelle. Wow, I'm the luckiest girl in the world!

Kayla's Birth Story:

After cleaning my entire house, my water broke around 4 pm on Feb 16.08. At first I didn't know what it was because I didn't have any contractions for the longest time. I thought it was just my mucous plug but as the evening progressed, there was more and more fluid and I was having contractions but they weren't too painful. By 6 pm, the contractions had started becoming more regular and frequent so I started getting ready to go to the hospital. I bought some gas, took some money out from the bank and I dropped my daughter at a friend's house. After running these errands, I got the final things ready for the hospital, I called the hospital to let them know I was coming and my husband and I left our home at around 9 pm.

When we arrived at the hospital, I was the only one in labour and delivery and I made it through on my own until about 1 am when they gave me an epidural. By that time one other lady came in to have her little one.

The doctor checked me shortly after I received the epidural and requested that I take medicine to increase my contractions. The combination worked! I was checked again at 5 am and the baby was all ready to come. I gave her one push and she literally fell out of me on her own with next contraction and was born at 5:12 am.

She was so quiet and beautiful! Sweet little baby Kayla. She looks so much like my first daughter and I love her so much!
