my son was born 6 weeks early on feb. 23, 2008 at 5:36pm he weighed 3 lbs 5 oz. was 15 3/4 inchs long

we didn't expect to have home so soon but he wasn't moving so he needed to come OUT!!! so i had an emergency c-section. as soon as he was out he was crying and kicking around! he was breathing on his own and did not need any help expect for a little oxygen for a bit he was kept in the NICU since he was born so early.

march 19 - 3 weeks and 4 days after he was born he was able to come home weighing 4lbs 5oz by monday march 24 he weighed 5lbs 4oz!

my little man has been through so much from 2 blood transfusions, to platelet transfusions to labs, to picklines. he's a fighter.

dr's said if i would have waited another hour he prolly wouldn't have made it therefore i call him my mircale baby =)

Thank you for your input. This stitchon the outside is driving me crazy and causing pain. It's good to see that your little man is home. I hope he continues to gain weight every day. Keep in touch!
