How did your parents react?: My mom was very excited and my dad was happy. My husbands parents kind of wondered if we were but were extremely happy for us both

What was your first symptom?: sensitive to spicy foods
What is your due date?: October 27, 2008
Do you know the sex of the baby?: Nope not yet but will find out on June the 4th
If so, what is it?:
Have you picked out names?: Yes, I belive so.
If so, what are they?: If it's a boy, we will name him Sullivan Richard. Richard is my husband's fathers middle name. If it's a girl, we will name her Miranda Sue. Sue is my middle name and my husband's mothers middle name.
How much weight have you gained?: about 15 pounds
Do you have stretch marks?: Yes but from gaining weight after high school
Have you felt the baby move?: No not yet.
Have you heard the heartbeat?: Yes and I love it. It makes me feel sooo much better about the pregnancy. :)
About the birth
Will you keep the baby?: Yes, no questions about it. This will be our little miracle baby!!!!!
Home or hospital birth?: Hospital
Natural or medicated birth?: Propably medicated but not for sure. This is our first child.
Who will be in the delivery room with you?: Just my husband. I'm shy. lol!
Will you breastfeed?: Yes, I plan on trying it. I heard there are a lot of benefits.
Do you think you'll need a c-section?: I'm not for sure but if needed, I'm okay with it. As long as the baby is healthy.
Will you cry when you hold the baby for the first time?: Probably....I can be a very emotional person. I cried at my wedding.
What's the first thing you might say to him/her?: "I LOVE YOU MORE THAN ANYTHING!!!!!!"
Would you let someone videotape the birth?: Probably not.......
Are you excited about the birth, or scared?: Very excited....it will be worth every bit of the pain!!!

I too 've the same problem..the brown/white discharge and pain around lower pelvic region especially after my 30minutes walking excercise. My husband is a doctor and he said its completely normal. To confirm his findings,i asked my midwife about it too hihi.She said its alright.

Hey jus read ur post im on 75mg of asprin and av been since wk 8 and im nw in 31 and i stop takin um at 36 wks im also on iron and they aint caused me anyprobs so jus wantd to let u no n if it helpz any hope u av a gud pregnancy maby the brown disharge is hormone changes pehaps?

About the white/clear discharge...it is normal...and due to the increase in your blood flow especially to your mucus membranes. That's why your gums may swell/bleed after brushing, and an increase in vaginal discharge :) Sorry, so graphic :)

My siatic nerve has been KILLING me too!!!!!! I am a pre-k teacher and am on my feet ALL DAY. I had to sit down most of the day today because it was SO bad!!!! I told my husband and he told me I sounded like an 80 yr. old woman using words like "siatic nerve". He just doesn't understand. I feel you though!

HI, I read your comment about sciatic nerve pain. Well I have it too and have had it since week 9... It can be very painful. My doc said a heating pad could help a little but I found that trying to be mobile alot and not sitting down for a long time helped too. Doc also said to use tylenol. It can be very rough, but most times it goes away on its own. It sucks to have all this pain now even with the baby is not causing it...well good luck with your pregnancy, Angie

hi congrats on your pregnancy, im getting the siatic pain too, it seems so early to have it, mine is the same it starts in my left bum cheek and runs down my leg, im also getting a feeling of heat that runs down my leg to it feels like warm water! as you say its all worth it in the end, lets just hope we havent got it the whole time,
