April 9-- 16 weeks! I'm still in shock. But I'm now reaching the point of absolute excitement! My next appointment is on the 16th, and there my doc will set the date for my last ultrasound. Keep me in your prayers that I get to know the gender of my baby! I took a poll of some of my closest friends, letting them vote boy or girl. Out of 10 people they were tied 5-5! Winners get a little gift from me after the ultrasound if all goes well. Then those who guessed right get their name in a pot for a grand prize drawing after delivery, (when I'll know without a doubt what we got!) I guess it's kinda lame, but it was such a pick me up to see everyone respond. I can't wait to do the delivery date pool. Winner gets the pot! Anyone have any more ideas on how to stay busy in the meantime?
I've been feeling movement for 4 weeks or so, but a little over a week ago I got my first kicks. This was the same as with my first born. Looks like I got another active baby on my hands.
My baby at 12 wks 5days

April 24-- Hey everyone! I would've updated sooner but I've been sleeping, a lot! I went to the doctor on the 16th and everything seems to be right on schedule. Unfortunatly, I have to wait until May 7th for the next ultrasound. But Imma keep my head up about that one. Because the nice lady at the dr.'s office heard me say that the original appt., set for May 14th, seemed so far away, she asked the ultrasound office if there were any earlier appt's. So a big thank you to her for getting it moved up a week! I'm moving his week, or I'm supposed to be but I've made very little progress. I'm trying to stay busy while my son is at school counting the days between visits to the dr. I'm thinking about renting a doppler to help me get through, anyone have any pro's or con's to that? So far I've only heard good things. I don't know, I keep thinking, once I know what I'm having, then I can go shopping and start really planning, and everyone else will feel so much more involved, time will really fly!

August 14 - I'm dilating already!! I went to the doctor on the 9th for intense reflux, and the doc decided to check my cervix because I was in so much pain. She tells me I'm 1cm and 50%! She also said that it was not at all unusual, (I disagree). So now I'm in 'Oh my gosh!!' mode. I have a shower on Saturday, then I'm going to the store to get whatever's left on my list. I'm so uncomfortable, and I know that that is normal, but I didn't expect to feel this way. I can actually tell my body is getting ready to have a baby. It really is so overwhelming. Hope everyone is doing well. Take care!
You won't need to
try any secret recipes to bring on labor. Have your emergency numbers
ready. Don't wait until the last minute to get your nursery ready. We
predict your baby will come 1-2 weeks early. Your baby will most likely
be born in the morning. Justmommies predicts that your baby will weigh
approximately 5.7 pounds and that your labor will be about 12 hours
long.
Apr 13 - Naomi has her two bottom teeth now. And she's 'army' crawling all over the place. It's so funny how time flies, We are in the process of moving so my living room is full of boxes that I now have to relocate to the kitchen because she has figured out that she can move herself around to get to the things previously thought to be out of her reach. I can't imagine life without her, in fact I really don't remember life without her. I didn't post my birth story, it's pretty short. I woke up a 1 am with hard contractions. I knew I was in labor so I took my son to breakfast at Micky D's then to school at 8:30 am. Lost my mucus plug at about 10 am, (while in Wal- Mart I might add).. My water broke around that time, but I really didn't notice since it wasn't even a trickle. I called the nurse and went to triage at 1:30 pm. At 2 pm I was 4 cm, at 3:45 I was 7 cm. I started pushing at 5 after I got my epidural, took a break to wait for my dr to arrive from clinic. She was born at 6:32 pm cst. 6lbs 6oz, and 19 in. It doesn't seem like that was less than a year ago, it feels more like a distant memory. I think that is one of the more beautiful things about having children. It's like they've always been with me, even berfore I gave birth. Hope all of you are well and blessed!!
Happy Mother's Day to you all!!!

Wednesday, 14 May Thanks so much Phia! I hope you had a Happy Mother's day as well! I love the family picture! Naomi is getting so big! How's you get her to smile so big for th camera? I feel so bad as a mother because Easton will be 8 months on Friday, and I still haven't had his pictures taken proffesional yet! I've been so busy, but I know that's not a good enough excuse because the months that past, I know I can never get back! Anyway, I hope things are better for her health-wise! How was the move? miss nola -
