Well, dear, happy New Year!!! I wondered where you were from, but forgot to ask. Never been to Ethiopia- only South Africa and West Africa- Namibia. SO glad Tabitha is doing better- poor little thing. This must have been so hard on you too! Take care, Sweetie! xoxo

joelisa - Friday, 12 September
wooooooohooooo....i know im excited. Well not really, cuz I like working and keeping busy but I need the rest. I hate waking up in the mornings...it gets harder and harder for me each day. Thank god im going home to see the family cuz I can get board with myslef, they can keep me busy:) Time is flying by fast....I cant believe that Im already 34 weeks prego, it's crazy...Im still trying to comprehend that im going to be a mother, i cant wait to hold her in my arms, to fall in love all over again and not worry about her breaking my heart...well atleast for another 18 years :) So anyways Im doing good, still alittle sore but I guess my body is getting ready. Other then that Im fine. How about you, how are you feeling.....and tabi?

Jess G - Friday, 12 September
She's doing good. I think it's working...she hasn't had a fever in 3 days. We go for checkup/well baby on the 19th.

I'm going to lunch tomorrow with my best friend from elementary school. We were BF from like kindergarten thru 6th grade, then I left...and after about the 8th grade, we lost contact...I saw her briefly when we like 15 years old...then not again since. I found her on facebook...and we've been texting each other...and we're having lunch tomorrow. It's crazy, I can't believe it!

arismomma5 - Friday, 12 September
First and foremost, I thank you for your well wishes!!! I have 10 days left and am nervous but excited and anxious to meet my princess...Second, I am happy to hear that your little girl is gaining weight and things are turning around for her...Exercise is a great way to get back your energy but it is also important to get your rest when you can...I have been feeling pains on and off and every time I do, I start to question whether its the kind of pain I should be feeling that will put me into real labor...However, I'm still here with no real labor pains just feeling uncomfortable...Wow, it's 2001 in your country? That is fascinating and interesting all at the same time...Do you have any traditions you follow now that it's a new year??? HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! I'll keep you posted on what's going on with me...take care of yourself and your family...

Allison - Thursday, 11 September
Hey girl! How are you? How is Tabitha??? How did the intestine thing go at the hospital? OMG- your poor little girl! Well, I am sure the docs will figure it all out and she will be fine but it must be hard on you as the mommy! Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. My husband and I went on vacation to San Diego with the baby and we had a great time. Didn't want to come home. Let me know how Tabitha is doing....xoxo

arismomma5 - Wednesday, 10 September
I was told she has turned and is in position, but I'll believe it when I see it!!! My appointment was rescheduled for Monday because I didn't feel good Tuesday. (I'm not 100% that I will last that long but let's see) How are you feeling? How's your daughter feeling? Hope all is well with you and your family...Keep me posted!!!

Jess G - Tuesday, 9 September
oh I'm so glad to hear that! What does she weight now? Regan is 21lb 7oz.

Jess G - Monday, 8 September
Yes, it was good they found out right away. But had I gone in any earlier...it might not have been...it might have taken a couple visits...which could have turned out worse...so it worked out. She's doing good...she's not spiking the fevers anymore...so I'm hoping that means that the antibotics are working the way they're supposed to.

I'm so glad to hear Tabitha is doing so much better. Yes, Regan wants just her daddy for a very short time when he gets home...I enjoy it, it doesn't last long, but it's just a moment when it's not mamamamamama...LOL!

Military-wifey - Monday, 8 September
The girls are fine. Work is ok, keeps the day going. My weekend wasn't so good though. My godfather passed so the funeral was over the weekend.

Jess G - Saturday, 6 September
hey! How are you and Tabitha?

Well, ended up taking Regan to the DR Friday morning...and she has a UTI. We actually went at the right time. Had we gone earlier, I'd have probably been sent home...but since it had been 5 days, that gave him an idea it was something other than something viral and with a couple things I told him, he decided to do a urine sample and rule out(or in) at UTI(urinary Tract Infection) and that's what it was. So she's antibotics now. She's doing ok if I can keep her temp down. But it gets up to around 103 or so and that makes her feel soooo bad. But when it's down, she acts ok. So now to just get thru this. Hopefully this is her last! :x

gidget32 - Saturday, 6 September
with my second I was in prego pants by 2 months. I hear with your second everything has already be "pre" stretched. Well its been 7 yrs since my last(now on my third)--At 7 weeks I feel like a cow! You will pop quicker this go around!

arismomma5 - Saturday, 6 September
well, I went to the doctors today and the doctor said the babies is down...Now I'm surprised because I was expecting for the baby to still be in the breech position...I have to come back again on tuesday for a sonogram to see if the baby has indeed turned! I pray to God that she has because I don't want to put my body through a c-section...Again, I leave it in God's hands...I'm hanging in there...I just get mentstrual like cramping that comes and goes but nothing too serious...I am glad the pregnancy is not effecting you the way it did to me and I hope it continues...talk to you soon...I will keep you posted...

arismomma5 - Friday, 5 September
hey girl!!!
Well, she'll be here before I know it and the thought of it is getting me scared, nervous and excited all at the same time!!! I have my baby shower for saturday and a doctor's appointment friday...unfortunately she is still breech and I am terrified she will not turn on her own...if she doesn't then I would have to have a c-section...my midwife will try turning her during my visit but now I'm hearing that the cord can get tangled around the babies neck and I wouldn't want that to happen...The only thing I can do is leave it in God's hands and pray that my baby is born safe, happy and healthy!!! By the way, how is your pregnancy going? Is it different from your daughter? Hang in there and enjoy!!!

joelisa - Thursday, 4 September
dang... good thing that you canceled the appointment, it would be to much for her...shoot...it would be to much for me :) Good to hear that your not having any MS. Im walken like an old women now... Its painful to walk. I feel like I drank a whole gallon of water and then went for a run... it hurts to walk. I guess my body is getting ready :( I was feeling good in my second trimester but now.... oh lord. Third trimester is a different story. Next week is my last week of work....thank god, seems like perfect timing to stop. Next week Imma go home to visit my mom and dad and I cant wait to see all of my brothers. I went to the doctors the other day and I passed the test that i took last time I was there. She said that it looks like im eating healthy... if she only knew:) i just got to drink more water. other then that... nothing is new. hope that you and Tabi have a wonderful day!!!

Military-wifey - Thursday, 4 September
I'm sure she will be just fine. I'm praying for little Tabi and the unborn that your carrying!

Jess G - Thursday, 4 September
aw, poor baby. So rough especially since you can't explain it to her!

Regan is fine. She got a little fever again last night, but with Tylenol she was fine. Who knows. I do know she's getting teeth...canines and molars...I know about 3 have broken thru.

joelisa - Wednesday, 3 September
Damn that sounds crazy, poor baby... I wouldnt want someone putting a tube down my baby's mouth. :( but I guess it's good that they are trying everything to figure out whats wrong. Good luck with that and keep me posted on how Tabi is doing. so how are you feeling:) being pregnant and all:) Hope that everything is well, and have a good one.

Military-wifey - Wednesday, 3 September
It's not going to be so bad. Whatever is wrong, good thing they are trying to catch it early. Special tests can be difficult but they give you more detail as to what the problem is. Alanah went thru similar test w/ her liver and her swallowing. I guess they both just do things early cus Alanah had teeth at 2mos also. Yes hubby is still in Iraq. He has about 3 1/2 mos to go. Take care!

Jess G - Wednesday, 3 September
aw, wow...what a rough ride for a little girl! I'm so sorry. I'm thinking you all. I'm glad she is getting a better. Let me know how things go on Thursday.

We're good. Regan has been a little strange..I don't know if it's teething or what. She keeps getting a little sick at night...for like 3 nights in a row now...she'll get a fever and feel bad. One night she even threw up. ack! But it's just at night..and I've been giving her a dose of tylenol. Strange. I know she's cutting a few new teeth, so maybe it's that.
