firsttimemom528 - Friday, 23 May
stupid full moon myth!

motheroftwo - Friday, 23 May
I hope it's just the fact that he's a boy.

I haven't seen it. I do't normally cry during movies, but lately... jeez! It's rediculous! I cried during The Patriot, Deep Impact, and the most embarrassing: Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants..
I'm so ashamed! haha! I also get teary eyed when I see that ASPCA commercial with all the little puppies and kitties in cages, and Sarah McGlachlan {can't spell her name :o)} is playing in the background. Jeez, it's sad!

motheroftwo - Friday, 23 May
Oh boy. The waddle turned to a limp!?

I think it's weird that his schedule changed. Adelyn's never did, she was ALWAYS wiggling around, never a quiet moment in my tummy. But this guy just isn't as active. Sometimes it worries me, but then I have to think that I am comparing him to Adelyn, and she was the most active unborn baby that my OB had ever seen. So it's just a huge change.

motheroftwo - Thursday, 22 May
I'm feeling good. My little guy just isn't kicking me as much anymore. I think his schedule has changed. It use to be that he wouldn't move much all day and then he would go crazy at night, and now it worries me because I barely feel him at night. I guess I would feel him wiggle around during the day if I was able to sit still. I just miss laying in bed feeling him kick the crap out of intestines... :o). Really not a lot of complaints here. How are your contractions feeling?

kekoa28 - Thursday, 22 May
That's why I'm frustrated - 'cuz today's supposed to be the day but nothing's happening and I feel like he's going to come late. Ha, we decided to abstain back in February! I said, "WOW, this is going to be the longest I've gone without sex since ..." I didn't finish the sentence 'cuz he looked horrified. Ha. I'm getting so cranky - all of the e-mails and texts asking me if the baby is here yet. "Did you guys get an announcement yet?" Then NO, grrrr!

MommyJewels - Thursday, 22 May
Was just reading your posts. My advice...be VERY firm on the whole visitor thing. Ok....I ended up having my FIL and MIL visiting the night I was induced. During labor I had my SIL, hubby, mom and MIL in the room. UNTIL I started pushing and then we kicked everyone out. Atfer birth I was a hot mess because things didn't go like we expected at all. We had EVERYONE and their mothers literally visitng. It was nice to have the support but it was WAY too much. After going through that you don't feel like seeing people. My nurses actually suggested having NO more visitors especially because baby and I weren't doing so hot at that point. We just texted everyone except for family and said no visitors. We are home now and everyone wants to come over. I don't want anyone to come over yet. You are recovering and ajusting to being home. They can see you LATER.

PRETTIEST MOM
Once you have been hit, you have to hit 5 pretty Moms.
If you get hit again, You will know you are REALLY pretty!
So hit 15 pretty moms on your friends list to let them know they are
pretty!
Before I was a Mom
I never tripped over toys or forgot words to a lullaby.
I didn't worry whether or not my plants were poisonous.
I never thought about immunizations.
Before I was a Mom - I had never been puked on.
Pooped on. Chewed on. Peed on.
I had complete control of my mind and my thoughts.
I slept all night.
Before I was a Mom
I never held down a screaming child so doctors could do tests.
Or give shots.
I never looked into teary eyes and cried.
I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin.
I never sat up late hours at night watching a baby sleep.
Before I was a Mom
I never held a sleeping baby just because I didn't want to put her
down.
I never felt my heart break into a million pieces when I couldn't stop
the hurt.
I never knew that something so small could affect my life so much.
I never knew that I could love someone so much.
I never knew I would love being a Mom.
Before I was a Mom -
I didn't know the feeling of having my heart outside my body.
I didn't know how special it could feel to feed a hungry baby.
I didn't know that bond between a mother and her child.
I didn't know that something so small could make me feel so important
and happy.
Before I was a Mom -
I had never gotten up in the middle of the night every 10 minutes to
make sure all was okay.
I had never known the warmth, the joy, the love, the heartache, the
wonderment or the satisfaction of being a Mom.
I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much, before I was a Mom.
Send this to someone who you think is a special Mom.''

ok i will be waiting . i will keep my fingers crossed

motheroftwo - Thursday, 22 May
Oh man, that sucks. But hey, maybe they will buy more stuff for Alyvia while they're there! That could be a plus! I hope it works out okay for you. I would think that they would have at least made sure it was convenient for you guys to have them over, but eh... I guess not everyone takes other peoples plans into consideration.. :o(

kekoa28 - Thursday, 22 May
I'm sure it won't get to that - I'm sure that after 40 weeks, they'll start talking to you about your options. Last night I couldn't sleep a wink - the contractions were uncomfy and I kept having to use the bathroom! Also, when I did drift off to sleep, I had nightmares. Anyway, it's "any day" for us - this is stressful but it's also kinda exciting if you think about it! I have a feeling you're going to go into labor before me, though. I hope it all goes smoothly for you!!

Morning, YESSSSSSSSSS, its the groin pain, it must be a sign of something, i know it!!! i feel really sore and "ripe" down there. I havent experienced that until now. As far as the walking goes i didnt have much choice, Trent got ansy and wanted to go to the "city" shopping for somethings before baby comes. There i sat with all the sleepy grumpy men at the mall in the rest area when it occured to me that im too tired to walk abymore, then wehn i got up OUCH!!!! When i couldnt get out of the truck, he KNEW i was in rough shape. The shocked look on his face, im sure his heart stopped. LOL.
I wondered if lastnight was "the night", but rise and shine here i am !!!
How was your sleep?
So bones had her baby??
Are you and i the only ones left??? I really thought id fall into the 2nd baby category and have him early, i guess my body has forgotten; after 15 years, wonder what that means for dleivery !!!

shannondawnb - Thursday, 22 May
hey there, you're "quiet" today, everything ok? how s your baby bump??? went to the "city" today, shopped and walked so much i can barely function now! i cant even walk, its insane!!!! it hurts so much, maybe this is labour? LOL.
let me know how you are sugar.

IraqiMom - Thursday, 22 May
just hang in there huny i am waiting for you too.. :)) all the BEST!!

motheroftwo - Thursday, 22 May
Nope, you haven't ranted about that to me yet! I'd be more than upset if Jason's parents invited themselves to my place ON my due date. Hold her in, just so they don't invite themselves into your hospital room! Or you could even have her the day before memorial day, so that their plans of their little visit get canceled! Well, good luck. I hope you either early or late!

kekoa28 - Wednesday, 21 May
Same news - my cervix is "ripe" and I haven't dilated much more since last week. But what's encouraging is that she told me that since my cervix is ripe, even though they prefer to wait for it to happen naturally, she'd consider inducing me at week 41. Hopefully it won't get to that point, but that puts an end in sight. No kiddin' - I've been SOOO cranky lately!! Not toward Marshall but toward the general public, friends and co-workers. Yeah, mine moves around so much, it hurts sometimes. My doctor said it's because he's big now and much stronger (the longer he stays in there, the more he's developing and pushing to get comfy). Great, I'm going to push out a linebacker! Argh! You'll be in my thoughts - maybe if we wish enough, we'll both go into labor! =)

liz82 - Wednesday, 21 May
aww poor you keep me updated on what goes on at your appointment soon . i hope you have her soon

MommyJewels - Wednesday, 21 May
Well I am sending you TONS of baby dust:) I hope that you have that baby soon!

I'm doing ok. Recovery is very slow. I'm recovering from not only labor, but the forceps deliver and the c-section. But, I am just thrilled and in love with my little man:)

motheroftwo - Wednesday, 21 May
Hopefully because you're having all these contractions before you actually go into labor, you will dialate quicker when it goes full throttle, and not have to go through hours and hours of labor. I don't know if it will make a difference, but hopefully! You still have a couple days, so just try not to get too impatient until you're one day late! :o)

MommyJewels - Wednesday, 21 May
Thanks:) How are you doing/feeling?

IraqiMom - Wednesday, 21 May
hey girl how you doing any signs yet!? cant wait to hear from you that u gave birth:)))

motheroftwo - Wednesday, 21 May
Oh man. It's going to be sucky when I lose you to labor! But good at the same time. I thought you went last night, because you weren't on here for so long, haha! Well, go have more contractions and have that little girl!!!

kekoa28 - Wednesday, 21 May
Yeah, know what you mean - guess there has to be some "happy medium" between being a "friend" and being respected as a parent. What I ended up doing in high school and even college was I lied to my parents because I couldn't tell them anything. I'd rather have him tell me things (he probably won't tell me EVERYTHING but most). You sound like you're close! My contractions haven't been painful at all - well, no, can't say that. Last night were the first ones that hurt. I was also a little freaked out last night because he was moving around more than ever - I thought that maybe he was partying for his last night in my womb or that he was distressed. I had to call my doctor and she told me he's okay - she said that movement is good - it's no movement they're more concerned about. I have another appointment today so I'll let you know of my progress. Maybe you'll be in labor while I'm at my appointment. =)
